《The Alpha Broke the Omega》Delta

A/N: Sierra has blue eyes and a mix of blonde and light brown hair🤗
I was pacing back and fort inside Ian's office, nervousness overcoming me. I was to be presented in front of the pack in a few hours.
When Ian brought me back to the pack house after our small picnic yesterday, he had me to rest for the rest of the day. Alec came by to visit and brought me news about the four individuals that attacked me a few nights back.
"They have someone of higher position protecting them. I was chasing the slowest one of them, but then everything vanished. Their scent, their traces, everything. I even let my wolf take control, but they weren't around anymore. Do you remember anything about them?" he asked me.
Nodding, I tried to remember the events of that night, although it was still a bit hazy. "Uhm, they were young that's for sure. Maybe around 16-18. There was one girl named Yna and then the other three were boys." I said. "They noticed that I'm not from this pack and it seems like they've been lurking the borders for a while."
Alec thought for a while and nodded. "Well, there's no surprise in there. A lot of enemies do linger around Panselinos and you're quite lucky you didn't encounter anybody else considering how far you were from the pack."
The door opened abruptly and I turn my head towards it. Ian and Alec left me here a few minutes, having to deal with a sudden situation, but with a promise that they were going to come back soon enough.
Expecting my mate or the Beta, my heart dropped when I see a familiar face. It was the Delta.
Her smile dropped as she looked around, probably looking for Ian or Alec or anybody else she knew. When she found nobody, her stance lowered in hostility, ready to attack.
"Who are you and how did you get in here?!" she demanded. My wolf felt threatened and tried to surface, she was slowly learning that she was soon to be declared as the Luna. Having the Delta go against the Luna, an utter disrespect and my wolf had only want to put her in her place.

Thankfully, I managed to suppress her, but not before my wolf let out a dangerous growl. I tried to smile although my wolf was itching to show her who the real Luna is. I breathed in and out deeply and motioned her towards the sofas.
She watched me carefully, sizing me up, trying to see if I was playing any trick to distract her and then attack her. "My name is Hannah..." I started, trying to put a smile although malicious thoughts were starting to make their way inside my head. "As for why I am here, the Alpha will give you an ans--"
"You're lying. Ian would never leave anybody here alone." she bit back, confident in her answer. The way she said Ian's name sent a nerve of pain to me. It rolled off so natural from her tongue, making me wonder how close they were.
'How dare she look that way towards us!' my wolf complains inside my head, still ready for a battle.
I bit my lip and looked down, not sure how to answer her. I hope Ian and Alec comes now, I don't exactly know how to defend myself right now.
Sierra was still in her offensive stance and she was ready to attack me, but I just nodded towards her. "Fine, don't believe me. But you don't have to be so hostile. Ian and Alec told me to stay here un--" she cut me off me when she sprinted towards me till the next thing that I knew was that her claws were pointed to my neck.
Oddly enough, I didn't feel scared. Although my wolf's desire to fight the Delta just worsened, I was... calm.
Somehow, deep inside me, I knew that whatever hurt she was to do or wanted to do would never work against me. Somehow, I felt that I was more powerful than her. If she did me ill, I could return it to her just as much.
Where I'm pulling this confidence from, I don't know, but I liked it.
"How dare you call them so casually! Who do you think you are. If you're not careful with that tongue of yours, I'll be happy to cut it for you."

Wow.
I smiled at her. Now that she was closer to me, I took my time to observe her. She had such a defined high cheekbones, her blue eyes were dark with anger as she looked at me. Sierra's aura emanated of strength and subtleness. She was the type of person you don't want to underestimate.
I bet she would make a fine Luna. But unfortunately for her, there was me.
I didn't understand what was stirring up the change in me. As an Omega, I never dreamed to be a Luna. As somebody who had nothing, being given a fate of a Luna is something overwhelming. I admit, I was scared at first, but after giving it a lot of thought, I've decided.
I will seize the chance I was given and be what the moon led me to be.
"I guess we weren't meant to get along, after along." I say lightly and as soon as I said that, familiar scents were coming nearer and fast.
It was Ian and Alec. Soon enough, the two were by the door, catching the scene of Sierra's claws close to my throat. Alec was quick to pull Sierra's hand while Ian came by me, standing in front of me in act of defense against his Delta.
Sierra's eyes widen in shock as her eyes looked towards Alec and Ian accusingly. She must have felt that it was unfair that Alec and Ian were defending me, a stranger, against her.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Sierra." Alec said dangerously behind her. She turned quickly towards him.
"What do you mean?! What is going on here! Who is she and why is she here?" she pointed a finger to me while ranting to Alec and then turned to Ian. "And what's the emergency announcement that you've called the whole pack for? What is really going on--" and then she fell silent.
Her eyes switched between me and Ian, realization slowly making its way to her mind.
"Sierra, you were supposed to find out tonight." Ian breathed in lowly as he stepped aside a bit, just enough for Sierra to get a full look of me.
"She's your mate." Sierra stated factitiously. The silence confirmed what she said.
Instead of apologizing or anything, she glared even more at me. She had just realized the competition between us and I could see that she wouldn't be backing down any time soon.
"Don't expect me to go easy on her, Alpha." Sierra said, looking at me from head to toe until she turned around and left the room.
There was silence in the room after the Delta left.
"Well, that went well." I whispered.
"Could've turned worse if we didn't come sooner. Sierra is not usually like that." Alec said, sounding like he was trying to comfort him. I nodded, sure she wasn't.
Ian turned to me and observed me. Using his hand, he lifted my chin and looked at my neck to see for any marks of hurt or bruises.
"She didn't hurt you, did she?" Ian held back his anger, I could feel it. I shook my head lightly. "I'm sorry about Sierra."
"It's okay." I said lowly. I understood how she felt, I almost wanted to say.
Ian looked at the clock and sighed. "Andrea and Lauren are on their way and will help you to prepare for tonight. They will tell you everything you need and how things will turn out."
Alec shot me a playful smirk and winked. "I could feel how nervous you are, don't be. You got this." he comforted and for a short while, it worked. But then the guy had the nerve to open his mouth again. "But just sayin, the whole pack will be there." he said, surely to annoy me.
My nervousness-meter just racked up the scale again and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at him.
Ian, watching the exchanged let out a small chuckle. "You'll be fine." he said like spell.
And that my dears, made me feel like I was going to be fine.
