《The Alpha Broke the Omega》change

Everything has changed.

I found myself in the kitchen the next day standing in front of two lovely ladies.

"Everyone, this is Hannah. She's here as the Alpha's guest." Alec introduced me as he went around the table and opened the fridge. He crouched low, finding something inside the fridge.

The two ladies eyed me from head to toe and I held my breath waiting for a reaction, but they were too guarded.

The first lady was probably in her early forties. Blonde hair, hazel eyes and lovely pearly whites. I smiled back at her and nodded courteously. The other girl was probably the same age as me. At first, she was observing me carefully but when I caught her eyeing me, she immediately smiled and waved her hands up.

"Oh my! The Alpha's guest. My, my isn't that quite rare, Lauren?" the young said to the older one named Lauren and started laughing quite fully.

"Absolutely. It's an honour to receive you." she said and bowed her head. I shook my head and didn't let her bow lower. I didn't deserve such act. I was an Omega after all.

"Please, no need. I'm Hannah." I introduced myself and bowed my head to the two.

Finally, Alec found whatever he was looking for which was just a strawberry milk. Is he serious right now?

"Hm, well. Introductions over? Andrea how her around the pack and make sure she knows a bit of her way around. I would love to take you, darling but I've got things to do." Alec winked at me as he smiled. He sipped his strawberry milk and waved his hand as he left the scene.

I was just there, dumbfounded. How dare he just leave me with these two strangers? I mean, we were tired of each other's company but he couldn't just leave me here!

We all watched as he left the scene, plain confused.

I could literally hear the wall clock ticking the seconds away when I heard someone clap their hands. I looked over to Andrea and found that it was her.

"Well, our Beta has said it. We must follow what he says right?" she says joyfully and grabs my arm. "See you later, Lauren!" she said as she dragged me out of the kitchen.

Was she really going to show me around the pack? Are they not trying to hide it anymore? Well, that's a start, but... it's so weird.

I was pretty sure that Ian was adamant to lock me up away for the rest of my days, but here I was stepping out of the pack house legally.

The sun blinded me. Wow, I'm actually outside. My first taste of freedom after a long time. I couldn't help but smile.

"So I'm guessing you know, this is the pack house. That building right there is the clinic. In case the Alpha gets injured, the pack doctor will be next door." Andrea started as she pointed at a three story building right beside the pack house.

A few pack members that were passing by stared at me weirdly and I could almost hear their questions in my head. Some looked curiously, some wearily, some were judging me, some sizing me up. There were definitely more people here than my old pack and that scared me. I tried my best not to mind though, but it was hard.

After the clinic, Andrea showed me the centres. The kids' centre, the young adults centre and she showed me their market place. That was where they learned. The teens had a local high school in which they attended located a few minutes drive from the pack. Apparently, the school was controlled by werewolves although there were some humans unaware about their surroundings.

My pack's market place probably had five shops, but Panselinos had so many it was hard to believe. They even had shops for some small boutiques, little cafes and pastry shops. The place was so lively and energetic and I couldn't help but also feel joyous. There were much more people here than in front of the pack house and I was just thankful that most didn't take notice of me.

"Lovely, right?" Andrea said.

"It's amazing here." I couldn't help but say. I caught her grinning happily as she nodded proudly.

"It's all thanks to the Alpha and his father. All of this wouldn't be possible if not for them." she said, leading me out of the marketplace.

I looked at her, her emerald eyes seemed to twinkle.

"How so?" I asked. At this point, I had no idea where she was leading me, I just followed her. It was all I could do after all.

"I think that's Ian's story to tell. But all I could say is that the Panselinos we have now is strong because of him and his father." she said, brushing my question off.

I wanted to ask more, but it seemed we arrived at our destination. From afar, I could hear the screams and the shouts. I heard weapons clanking against each other and some shifted wolves growling.

It was up a hill that slightly overlooked lower grounds, everyone was with a partner, battling each other. However, they all slowed down and searched for the unfamiliar scent they picked up which would be... me.

At the very back, I saw Alec sitting on a tree branch eating what seemed to be an apple. Upon seeing that his trainees were slowing down, he shouted.

"Back to training!"

Everyone immediately started fighting again and Alec jumped from the tree and jogged towards us.

"So, welcome to the end of your tour, lovely lady." he smiled playfully at me and I couldn't help but sigh. He turned to Andrea as he held my hand. "And thank you, Andrea for being such a helpful pack member. Now, I just need you to supervise these weaklings for half an hour more and you can dismiss them."

"What?! You're just pushing your responsibilities to me, Alec. Stop being lazy." Andrea rolled her eyes and turned around, about to leave.

"Disobeying your Beta now, huh. How you've grown." Alec started and faked a sob. "You don't even want to help me out. I've got so much things on my plate as the Beta, I have to attend to something important now, but no one can help me." Alec continued. Andrea groaned, obviously annoyed and turned back to us.

Although she did look annoyed, something told me that they were close friends. I noticed it way before especially when Andrea casually called my mate by his name instead of his title.

I also concluded that Andrea was well-liked in this pack. People would casually stop in their tracks to say hi to her or to give her some food or fruit. Looking at her now, I knew that she was a warm person. Someone that everyone would like to be around with. Unlike me...

I couldn't help but feel envious. I wish I was more like her.

Her personality was fit of that a Luna's. And me?

Well, I wouldn't blame someone if they felt depressed when they looked at me.

"Ugh, you're so annoying! This is the last time that I'm doing you a favour. And I'm only doing this for Hannah." she said as she hugged me. I was a bit taken back by her actions. I mean, I just met the girl a few hours ago and she was already treating me like we've been friends for a long time.

I wasn't sure what to feel with that though.

Alec smiled victoriously and snatched me away from Andrea as we said goodbye to Andrea.

"Where are you bringing me now?" I asked. To be honest, I was already feeling tired. I had no idea that a pack tour was going to drain me.

"Oh, nowhere. I just wanted to get out of that boring training." he said with a blank expression. I couldn't help but laugh. He really did just push his responsibilities onto Andrea to get off the hook. He turned to me. "Where do you want to go?" he asked, putting both of his arms behind his head.

I thought for a while. Where did I want to go?

Somehow, that question made me sad. It was the first time that I had the freedom to choose where I wanted to go.

Everything is slowly changing and I felt it in my every being. I felt it under my skin, in my bones, I smelled change in the air.

Usually, I was just dragged from a place to another. My opinions, thoughts and wants were always disregarded and having someone ask me where I want to go made me completely emotional.

I hated how my emotions were a rollercoaster wreck.

I felt a deep hole inside of me when I realized how of a messed up life I've been having. I felt ashamed that I had been a living like this.

I'm unfit to be a Luna. I will forever be at the bottom.

No matter how much changes were to happen, that fact was constant and unchangeable.
