Brad pushes the door open ushering Sophia inside. His hand loosening on her fingers as he takes her to a chair in front of his bosses desk. His boss raises a brow as the red head shyly ducks her head and takes a seat before looking back to him.

"Sir, this is Ms. Sophia Andrews. She is head of the finance department."

Still with a raised brow, his boss turns his attention to the newcomer. "It's nice to meet you Ms. Andrews however I am particularly busy. What is this about Brad?"

Brad takes the contract placing it down on the desk. Sophia's red pens marks still on the page. His boss picks it up tipping his glasses to look at it. His eyes zeroing in on the clause. He sits it down slowly looking to Brad who shakes his head pointing to Sophia. His boss' brows furrow in confusion.

"Ms. Andrews, did you discover this?" Sophia clears her throat lifting her head. Her green eyes locking with him making his eyes widen slightly. She nodded timidly. "How did you discover this?"

"I was proofreading the contract for-"

"I am well aware that Mr. Russo allows both Taylor and Jessica to look over these but how did you discover this?" Brad stiffened not realizing that his boss was aware of his partners in crime. "Don't look so shocked Brad, we have to keep an eye on all computers within the office and all there transactions."

Sophia giggled seeing Brad's blush creeping up his neck at being caught. The man smiles hearing the wistful sound. Her attention all on his staff member. When she turns back to him, she has a brilliant smile on her lips.

"You must Jessica's sister, yes?"

"Yes sir"

"Please call me Marcus"

"Yes Marcus" She answers still smiling. Her body language much more relaxed then when she entered. She stands back up picking up the document. "That isn't all."

Brad and Marcus step forward as she flips to another page where more notes are made. This company also placed a binder stating that they would gain 5% of Sandford Drake Inc if all obligations were not met.

Marcus raises a brow looking to Brad, "What do I pay you for?"

"To find gems like her" he says with pure confidence as he points to Sophia. She laughs again while Marcus smirks.

"Ms. Andrews, we could really use you in the Legal department."

"Sorry sir, but I am only here til my sister returns."

"You wouldn't be interested in a job?" Marcus asks sounding baffled. Many people apply to work at such a prestigious company and this woman doesn't sound bothered by it.

Sophia shakes her head negatively ready to be back out in the world experience it all and soaking as much as she can. "Thank you for the very considerate offer however it isn't in my cards sir."

"Marcus" He stresses. She gives him a beautiful smile while nodding. "Thank you for your help then Ms. Andrews. Please feel free to look at other contracts during your time here. I'm sure Brad could use it."

"HEY"

Sophia's laughter bounces off the walls of the very stiff room as she gets up. As she begins to stand, a board beside the window catches her attention. A very long chalk board with an incomplete equation on it. She tilts her head looking at it as her feet take her to it. She lifts the chalk without thinking as she begins completing the equation.

Marcus and Brad stand back and watch as her mind works on it's own accord. Both remaining silent. Marcus has had that problem on the board for months trying to work through some numerical anomalies he found within the company. He could never figure it out and had left the board as a riddle for his mind to solve. Brad's jaw dropped as she continued writing numbers as if they just fall out of her head. She finished the equation turning around and just silently walked out the door leaving both men completely astonished. Marcus walked over picking up his phone instantly calling Fletcher to see if Mr. Sanford was available for a visit.

"Brad, you may leave."

"Yes sir"

"And Brad..." Brad turns around still slightly at a lost but looks to his boss. "Call Jessica and tell her thank you."

"Yes sir."

Brad exits the room leaving Marcus to turn back to his chalkboard. Rubbing his chin in thought before chuckling lowly. She was certainly a wonderful 'gem' as Brad called her. He turns back to his desk taking the contract before making his way upstairs locking his office behind him. He gets on the elevator heading directly to the top.

Upon arrival, Fletcher ushers him into the office. Sitting behind the desk sits Luca Sanford. Marcus walks over sitting down watching as the young man looks just like his father used to. His pen writing away as he focus solely on the task at hand.

"Yes Marcus"

"Sir, we have found some errors of omissions in the contract with Stonewall Inc."

Luca lifts his attention from his current work. Marcus hands him the contract and he can see where certain parts are marked. His body falling back into his chair.

"How the hell did I miss this?" Luca says in a low voice speaking to himself.

"There is also another section on page 5."

Luca flips through the document and begins to feel his blood boil. He's not just angry, he's fucking outrage at these fuckers trying to take a part of his company. He's also infuriated that he didn't catch this. Luckily the meeting with this company is in two days so no contracts have been signed as of yet. He looks back up at Marcus. The man had been with the company for a very long time and his father trusted his judgement.

"Thank you for finding these Marcus."

"The credit is not mine to take sir."

Luca raises a brow intrigued. Marcus has been an honest man and has always passed the credit to the correct person unlike many superiors here in the company who will take the credit for their staff. Luca respected Marcus for this.

"Then who shall I thank?"

"Brad Russo and Sophia Andrews."

"Brad I recognize but who is Sophia? Is she a recent hirer?"

"In a capacity, yes. She is here for a short period of time."

"I didn't realize we hired people for a length of time."

"Her circumstances are different sir."

Luca can tell he is being vague on his answers. He is about to question it when a knock sounds on the door. Both men turn back as Fletcher steps in letting Luca know he has a visitor. Luca nods and stands outstretching his hand to Marcus.

"I would like to meet this Ms. Andrews."

"Yes sir"

With that Marcus leaves heading back to his floor. He arrives walking over sitting down at the desk. His mind replaying the confused expression of the young CEO before picturing Ms. Sophia. A grin comes to his lips as he begins thinking of putting a plan in motion. His chair turning back to his board again looking over the finished work while he continues to chuckle to himself in the quietness of the room.

Sophia made it back to her sister's office with a gentle smile on her face. She was proud of the work she had done and clearly the other associates were happy as well. She went and sat down on her desk. She took back out the documents that appeared to have forged signatures. Her computer had been running a diagnostic for the same hesitation while she stepped away. So far, in the last year, there were 14 anomalies. It went right hand and hand with the time frame when the new CEO took over the company. She bit her lip wondering if someone was taking advantage of the new owner.

"So did you have fun?"

Sophia snaps her head up hearing Taylor's voice. The brunette was leaning against the frame of the door with a tilt to her head. Her ankle crossed together with a gentle smile on her face. Sophia could tell she was a very dependable person which must be why Jessica trust her so much. She steps into the room taking a seat in a chair in front of her desk. She bites her lip as she nods. Taylor snorts then laughs making Sophia giggle as well.

"You could have warned me that he was quite literally dragging me to his boss' office"

Taylor sighed seeing such a cute pout on her face. Shaking her head she smiled looking back at the younger Andrews. She really was a breath of fresh air. Taylor goes to answer her but notices something.

"Sophia, your nose-"

Sophia brings her finger to her nose to feel the familiar liquid. Pulling back she curses lowly as Taylor reaches for a tissue putting it to her nose. She keeps it there leaning her head back. Taylor looks on with concern. The young beauty seems to be used to nose bleeds. She wanted to question it but bit her tongue for now. She only met her today.

"Sorry Taylor"

"It's okay, are you alright?"

Sophia waves her hand in a dismissive way. She didn't like to lie and if she spoke, she would be lying. After a moment she brought her head back up right finding Taylor's worried face. She patted the tissue a few more times before tossing it in the trash ben.

"I'll be back in a few minutes."

Without another word, Sophia left the office heading towards the restrooms she saw near the elevators. Her walk was brisk concerned that others on the floor would notice the redness under her nose. She made it in the restrooms quickly walking to a sink and mirror before looking at the woman in the reflection.

She felt like she was looking at someone else. She quickly dabbed a paper towel patting around her nose before taking another to dry it. Throwing them away, she turns back bracing her hands on the sink. The redness from the previous event still present just like a reminder of her life. She drops her head forward as her grip tightens on the sink making her fingers turn white. She takes a deep breath releasing a shuttered breath before looking back at the mirror at the red rimmed eyes.

Sophia shakes her head regaining her composure before exiting the restroom. She walks back to her office finding Taylor no longer sitting at her desk. She was grateful not wanting to talk about it. Trying to erase the event, she walks back over to sit down and get back to the contracts. The next few contracts were highly respectable and didn't have any hidden clauses that she could find. The next few hours pass with her mind solely focused on her work.

Taylor watched on from her office when she returned, it was clear that there was more to tell but by her quick exit, she could also tell she wasn't wanting to talk about it. So she watched over her throughout the day to make sure nothing else happened. She continued focusing on the documents and Taylor could see she was submerged in the work. Sighing, she turned back to her phone debating whether or not to tell Jessica.
