《Ballet With The Bad Boy》Chapter 43

"Harvey. Please tell me this is not true."

My brother stood across the room from me, frozen in place as he was laying out plastic cups next to the many, many bottles of alcohol.

"Uuh, depends what it is?" He tried to play it innocent, but he knew I was pissed.

"A party? Mum and Dad are going to be back home in the next couple of days and you're going to throw a bloody party?" I could already feel the stress levels in my brain about to explode.

The week had gone by fairly boring. Exams had officially started on Wednesday and I had already done three of mine. I was planning on using this weekend to study hard, but Harvey had decided to throw my plans out the window.

"It's a birthday party for us!" Harvey cheered, continuing to lay out the cups and grabbing onto a 6 pack of beer and shoving it into the fridge.

"And many people have you decided to invite for this party?" It was a stupid question, because I expected at least half the school to be crammed inside our house by tonight.

"Just the usual people, Hunter will be round in like 10 minutes to help me set up, but most of the guys will be round." Harvey replied, bringing out some large mixing bowls from under the counter and placing them on the table, chucking bags of crisps inside them ready to be laid out.

I definitely did not believe him when he said 'the usual people'. I expected at least a hundred people to be wandering around the hallways and making a mess in the garden. Harvey better realise that he's the one cleaning up after this.

"This place better be spotless by the time I get back from my shopping trip tomorrow." I had to go into town to buy a dress for the end of year dance for the Year 11's. At the end of every school year after exams, the school throws a dance for the Year 11's that are leaving so they get the chance to have a party and have fun before leaving.

They decided to do a themed dance for once, usually its just dress up nice and have a good time but they put a theme on it this year. I think they wanted to make things more elegant and fancy this year as it was ball attire. So big fancy dresses and suit and ties all around.

I don't think I've ever worn a dress that cost me over like £20 so this time I was gonna treat myself.

"Yea yea sure." Harvey flapped his hand at me as he began mixing various bottles of alcohol together to make some form of cocktail I would imagine.

Giving up with trying to reason with my brother, I threw my hands up in the air in frustration and headed back to my room. I couldn't help but groan when I saw my desk which was cluttered with texts books and notes from my History and Biology lessons.

I had finished my English literature, Chemistry and one of my Math exams so I didn't have to worry about those ones anymore. I still had Biology and Physics when it came to Science, my English Language exam and then my final Math one and then I was finished with my core subjects.

All the other ones I wasn't too fussed on cramming in for, not to big myself up but I wasn't worried about not doing well in them because I knew I would ace them.

I was a smart kid, and so was Harvey so that's why I focused more on my dance than I did to school half the time.

But with the competition out the way and no more dance lessons for two months, I could finally just relax and focus on my own things.

As soon as I sat down at my desk, my phone pinged from beside me and Leo's name popped up on the screen. He had practically been hiding away in his room so he didn't have to deal with his Mum.

"I heard about Harvey's party, you ok?"

I couldn't help but laugh a little. He knew how I felt about Harvey's parties so I appreciated that he asked if I was ok.

"Well considering what happened at his last party, I'd rather not be home but someone has to make sure he doesn't burn the house down." I typed back, memories of the party flooding back to me and the embarrassment of what happened caused heat to go to my cheeks.

I don't think Hunter has ever looked at me the same way since that night, mostly because he felt bad about being pressured into doing it.

Unfortunately, I couldn't change the past so I just had to put my faith in my brother not being a total ass tonight.

Hell. I was standing in hell right now.

It was an hour into the party and someone had already thrown up outside in the garden. My estimate of around a hundred people was accurate and I was struggling to weave in and out of people to travel around the house.

I was cleaning up a little bit as I moved around, picking up empty bottles and cups so it would be less work for Harvey to do tomorrow. I know I told him he had to clean it up, but I wasn't completely heartless.

When I'd managed to squeeze into the kitchen, I chucked the rubbish I was holding into a black sack that Harvey had left out for people to use. Not that they had common sense to use it though.

As I went to make my way back to my room, a hand caught around mine and pulled me towards them.

I gasped out of surprise from the sudden movement but relaxed when I saw it was Leo. I was happy that Harvey had actually invited him to come tonight.

"Hey." Leo smiled at me, reaching down to me and placing a quick kiss on my lips. I couldn't help but blush at the movement and I felt heat go to my cheeks.

"Hello to you too." I replied, following Leo outside as the garden was the least crowded place we could find. Luckily the smell of the persons sick had gone down since I had washed it away with the hose.

"When did you get here?" I questioned, since I was certain he would've messaged me when he was here.

"Like 5 minutes ago, I got cornered by Harvey and his friends when I first showed up, asking if I brought any uh, special party things along with me..." Leo scratched the back of his head and I frowned for a split second before I clocked on to what he meant.

"My brother asked you that?" I was angry, so I had to hold back from screaming at him. Was Harvey seriously just gonna go back on the thing he said he wasn't going to do? I mean I know I did, but mine wasn't changing how I was towards other people and hurting others too.

"No, no, it was more his other friends, Harvey didn't say anything. Plus, I don't deal anymore so I wouldn't have been able to give them anything anyway." Leo explained further and I felt bad for automatically assuming that Leo hooked them up despite him telling me that he wasn't doing it anymore.

Rubbing my hands down my face and taking a breath, I chilled out so I didn't feel so tense. I mean, this whole situation with the party was stressing me out so it would only take something simple to wind me up.

"Sorry, I didn't meant to just assume the worst." I sighed, looking out into the garden and watching all the teenagers swigging from cups and laughing with each other.

Maybe I should loosen up a little? Just chill out and actually enjoy myself.

"It's ok. You want a drink?" Leo asked, taking my hand in his and rubbing gently over the back of it.

Part of me wanted to say no, so I didn't have to get involved with all the shenanigans around me, but the other part of me wanted to actually have a good time with Leo since we hadn't really done anything majorly sociable together. Out in public at least.

"Sure, nothing too strong though." I smiled, happy that Leo wasn't mad it me for being judgmental towards him.

Leo just winked at me before disappearing back into the house. Rolling my eyes, I pulled out some of the garden chairs I had tucked away at the side of the house and sat down on one of the two chairs.

I hid them so no one could ruin them since they were pretty expensive chairs and I didn't want some random drunk person to stain them or break them.

After a couple of minutes, Leo returned with two plastic cups and he joined me sitting on the spare chair.

The next few hours were actually really fun. Leo and I sat chatting out in the garden, drinking and smoking every so often when my brother wasn't outside with us.

Since I didn't smoke that much, it wasn't major that I was smoking tonight. It was nice to have the social thing with Leo.

I did end up getting a little bit tipsy because whatever Leo was mixing in our drinks, it was definitely getting stronger and stronger each time he got one.

Eventually we moved inside since it was getting colder and darker and by the time we moved, the party was in full swing. And I mean, full swing.

It looked like one of those American films where the frat parties were going on and it was just chaos.

Cups, bottles, food and god knows what else were littered everywhere. Jheeze, Harvey was gonna have fun cleaning this lot up in the morning.

Speaking of Harvey, he was currently drunk off his face and challenging anyone and everyone to an arm wrestle in the front room.

Leo and I were standing against a wall and watching him, as more and more people attempted to beat him. Surprisingly, despite how drunk he was, he was actually beating everyone who went against him.

"You should try it." I nudged Leo with my elbow and nodded my head to Harvey who was going against Hunter, who was extremely drunk.

Trust me, I know Hunter when he's drunk and right now I don't think I've ever seen him so smashed before.

"God no, I'll probably end up hurting him." Leo laughed, his arm snaking around my back and gripping onto my hip.

"Oh really? Someone's confident." I scoffed, leaning my head to my side so it was resting against his arm. I knew he was probably right since Leo wasn't as drunk as my brother and Leo worked out frequently for dancing.

But still, it would be funny to watch.

Leo sighed in an over-exaggerated way, rolling his eyes and squeezing my hip tightly for a second before moving over to the table where Harvey and Hunter were.

This should be a fun show.

Finally Harvey managed to push Hunter's hand down to the table, winning the mach against him.

Hunter nearly fell off the chair from the force but he eventually pulled himself up onto his feet, grabbing the nearest cup of alcohol he could find and downing its contents.

I couldn't help but laugh as he stumbled away, probably in the search for more alcohol.

Leo was now sitting in the chair opposite Harvey who was grinning at his new opponent.

"Well well well, Leooooooo Taylor," Harvey started talking like he was a big time announcer, drawing the attention of the room "A worthy opponent."

"And the next champion after I beat you." Leo replied, his voice all cocky and he stretched his neck from side to side.

"Bring it on, bitch." Harvey grinned, holding out his arm for Leo to hold on too.

"Don't say I didn't warn you." Leo shrugged his shoulders, turning around to me quickly and winking before clasping his hand in Harvey's.

Well... Their match lasted literally 10 seconds. Harvey struggled for a moment, their strength matched before Leo literally slammed my brothers arm down with no effort whatsoever.

A few random drunk people cheered and Harvey just looked defeated and Leo stood up, holding his arms in the air in victory.

I could hear Harvey making up excuses like he was drunk and had gone against loads of people and his arm was tired but I think everyone knew they were bullshit. Leo was definitely stronger than Harv.

As Harvey stalked off to go and get another drink from the kitchen, Leo moved towards me, picking me up and swinging me over his shoulder.

I screamed slightly at his random actions, laughing as well since I had no idea what he was doing.

He began walking towards my bedroom, opening the door and making sure Loki didn't escape as he strolled in. As he kicked the door closed with his foot, he placed me down on my feet and didn't wait a second before placing his hands on my cheeks and kissing me senseless.

Woah... Okay... Looks like someone was excited.

I wasn't complaining, but it caught me off guard. I will admit, being tipsy from the alcohol was definitely making me more into the moment.

There was no way I was going to do anything like that with Leo with the party going on in the background, I wouldn't trust Harvey playing a prank like last time.

But it didn't mean I couldn't enjoy myself.

We carefully made our way to my bed without breaking the kiss. Luckily Loki had decided to sleep on top of my desk so I didn't have to move him from his usual sleeping spot.

We ended up with Leo hovering on top of me, holding himself up so he didn't crush me but still being close enough so we could kiss.

I could have stayed in this moment forever. I knew Leo probably wanted to do something more, but had the same resilience as me as to why we couldn't.

It made me wonder as to if Leo had another done it before, because no doubt he's had girlfriends in the past and... he just seemed like the type of guy who definitely would have.

Then again, I didn't want to judge him for his past and the kind of person he was before.

I'm sure it was a conversation for another time, but right now I just wanted to enjoy the moment and not feel insecure about the thought of Leo being with another girl.

My hands were in his hair, playing the blond strands in between my fingers. The grip Leo had on my hip was sending little tingles through my body and causing me to grip a little tighter onto his hair.

The music that was pulsing through the house suddenly silenced but I ignored it, imagining someone was just changing the song.

Leo and I were just lost in the moment, kissing and touching each other and enjoying every single second.

That was however until the door swung open with a bang.

I gasped from shock, pulling away from Leo and turning to look at the door, about to tell whoever it was to piss off.

Only to freeze, my bodies first reaction kicked in and shoved Leo off of me and causing him to topple to the floor.

He landed on the carpeted floor with a thud and a groan and he picked himself up quickly "What the hell Eli?"

"Yes, Eli, what the hell?" Another voice spoke and I visibly swallowed.

My Mum and Dad stood in the doorway to my room, both of their arms crossed and stern looks on their faces.

Well, this wasn't going to be pretty...
