Leo's hair tickled the tip of my nose as I played around with it. We were buried under my covers, quiet music playing from my stereo as Leo napped beside me.

I could tell he was exhausted as he pretty much crashed as soon as we sneaked back to mine. Luckily Harvey was in his room playing really loud music so he didn't even hear me open the front door. But I did pop my head around the door to say that I was probably going to sleep for the rest of the day so he wouldn't disturb me.

It was a risk bringing Leo back to mine, but I didn't want to leave him alone. Plus I didn't think he wanted to be alone either.

The revelation of Leo's Dad being back in town made him spiral quite a lot and I managed to convince him to drive us back to his house so he could grab some stuff and come to mine.

His idea was to go to a club and get absolutely shitfaced. I turned down that idea.

I would rather he release his anger in a less destructive way, even if it meant smashing up the building we were dancing in to let a little bit of it out.

Leo's head was buried into my chest, his arms locked around my body as he held me in place. I wasn't tired so I decided to stay awake and just play with his hair, twiddling with the dirty blond strands and gently running my fingertips over his scalp.

I didn't know if he could feel it, but I hoped it was comforting for him.

I stopped for a moment, rubbing my eye as I thought I had something in it when suddenly, Leo stirred awake.

"Why'd you stop?" His voice was thick with sleep and made me go all jelly inside. So he was kind of awake.

"Sorry sir, I'll carry on." I rolled my eyes and laughed a little before dragging my hand through his hair again.

Instead of settling back into his original position, Leo's arms on me tightened and he pulled me over so I was on top of him.

I had to quickly steady myself from falling straight off his body and my hair went all over the place from the sudden movement.

"You tryna kill me?" I laughed quietly, regaining myself and sitting properly so I was straddling over Leo's hips.

Leo pulled himself up so we were more level and tucked some loose strands of my hair behind my ear so it wasn't so messy.

"Na, just thought I'd catch you off guard." He smirked a little, pulling me closer to him so he could place a sweet kiss on my lips.

No matter how many times he did this, the same little sparks went off in my stomach and made my heart beat faster. Each time felt like the first time all over again and it drove me crazy.

One of Leo's hands gripped my thigh and the other was on my hip as he held me in place as he kissed me senseless.

I was playing with his hair once again, gripping a little tighter on his roots the more the moment heated up.

This was probably the most intimate we had been together, and I could definitely feel that he was in the mood from where I was sat on his lap.

There was no way I was going to have sex with Leo when my brother was literally in the next room. Call me cheesy but I wanted it to be a lot more special than this.

Didn't mean I couldn't enjoy the moment at hand though...

I couldn't help myself but to stir my hips slightly, just enough for Leo to feel it.

And he definitely did feel it as his grip tightened even more on me and he bit my bottom lip a little which I couldn't help but let out a small noise.

As much as I was enjoying the situation, my phone buzzing from beside me made me pull away.

Leo groaned in frustration as I slowly slid off his body and reached for my phone that was on my bedside table.

"Sorry." I shrugged innocently, putting my phone to my ear without checking the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Eliana! Honey! We finally got a decent phone reception!" The line crackled slightly but I noted my mother's high pitched voice down the other end of the line.

"Hey Mum, where are you guys now then?" I questioned, picking at my nails on my hand. It had probably been around 3 months since we last had contact because they were somewhere in Italy that didn't have many electrical things.

"We went a bit further this time!" The phone cut out for a second then suddenly came back "It's pretty hot here, but hey, it is Thailand after all!"

Thailand. A little further than their usual travels around Europe.

"Wow, must be fun."

"Can't talk for long darling, but just know we'll be back for your's and Harvey's birthday next month, so make sure the house is clean!" She laughed down the line at the end and suddenly the call went dead.

At least they have the consideration to come back for our birthday I suppose. Which I hadn't even realised was a month away.

18 years old. Final exams a couple months after and then school was out of the way.

Just had to make sure to ace the audition for my future plans to really start rolling. It was less than a week now until the competition and I was nervous, but I knew Leo and I would get it done.

We had practiced way too much to fail any of it.

Placing my phone on charge, I snuggled back into bed, pressing myself against Leo's side and wrapping my arm over his stomach.

"Was that your Mum?" He questioned and I nodded my head.

"Yea, my parents are gonna be back in town for the 18th next month for my birthday." I sighed. I know it was thoughtful of them to come back and see us, but its all they do. Come back and see us when its our birthday and Christmas if we're lucky.

But I knew they would be coming down for this one as this is the age that they pretty much tell Harvey and I to get jobs and start paying for the house ourselves. It was their plan from the start.

"Wait, your birthday is next month?"

"Yea, don't worry about getting me anything for me, I'm not a fan of presents." It was true, I was more of a giver than a receiver so I loved getting presents for other people but I hated getting them.

"Not even something small?" Leo bargained and I rolled my eyes.

"Fine. Something small and not expensive." I countered and I could sense Leo hesitate for a second before replying.

"Ok. Sure."

Even though he said that, I imagined Leo was going to do the exact opposite.

Which definitely wouldn't surprise me.
