《Ballet With The Bad Boy》Chapter 19

"Miss Lacey will be back in a minute. Had to sort something out at reception." Leo was the first to speak as we just stared at each other from across the room.
I nodded, moving to my bag and picking out my water bottle.
Leo started making his way over to me, chucking his bag on the floor next to mine and shrugging off his jacket.
"Did she tell you to bring your clothes in? She didn't say anything to me." Leo asked. Seems he got the same email as me then.
"No, I brought it just in case." My voice was small and quiet as I watched the door for Miss Lacey's return.
A shirt was not long chucked on the floor too and I realised that Leo was going to be doing the lesson in his back up clothes. Aka, no top and his shorts.
God. This was going to be a long couple of hours.
Kicking off his shoes last, Leo started doing his warm ups, starting off with that perfect handstand that I've seen him do before.
I slowly shuffled away from him, setting myself on the floor and stretching my legs out, reaching my pointed toes with my fingers and holding it there for a bit.
The next five minutes went agonizingly slow. Every so often my eyes went to Leo who still held his posture in the handstand.
Beads of sweat started to roll down his back, the muscles in his shoulders quivering ever so slightly.
I had stopped stretching not long ago, I was just absentmindedly looking around the room, trying to avoid my eyes landing on Leo but its like they were just drawn to him.
He exited out of the handstand as gracefully as he went into it, with one fluid movement he was back on his feet. His face was red and beaded with sweat, causing some of his dirty blond hair to stick to his forehead.

His eyes went to both his wrists and then his pockets before he made a sound of annoyance, scraping his hair out of his face in a huff.
I glanced to my own wrist and noticed the black hairband that was clung around it. I usually had a spare on me since my hair was so long and thick I was always breaking the ones I wrapped my hair in.
"Here." I reached my arm out from where I was still sitting on the floor towards his direction, holding out the hairband.
Leo seemed shocked that I was even acknowledging him which made me wince. Maybe I was being too harsh with him.
"Thanks." He took the black band an quickly threw his hair into a small bun, some of the shorter strands framing his face.
I felt like I needed to clear the air with him, otherwise all of this was gonna be hella awkward and I didn't want that distracting me from what I loved.
Picking myself up off the floor, I took a deep breath before fully turning to Leo.
"Ok. I'm sorry I've been freezing you out. Shits just been crazy," I scratched the side of my head "I don't want what happened last night to effect whats going on here. I want this too badly to fail now."
Leo looked in thought for a while, like he was actually listening to the words I was saying and taking them in.
Just as he was about to reply, Miss Lacey decided to make her way back into the room and instructed us to do the performance for her so she could re-assess us.
Leo and I locked eyes for a second, his head nodding but I couldn't help but notice the hurt in his features.
God, I felt like shit. But, he agreed to it.
Who knows, maybe after all of this something may happen? But that's for then. This is now and nothing was stopping me from winning this thing.
