《Forbidden Flower》Chapter 41

Good morning, beautiful. I left for work. Don't miss me too much. —your Nick
I smiled reading the small note he placed on my vanity table. I was pissed at the same guy last night so pissed I just wanted to rip his head off. I knew I had a rather bad temper and it wasn't this bad before. Maybe it was just him pissing me off as always because that was all every boyfriends ever did.
But, gosh did he have his ways with me. He knew perfectly how to deal with my anger, I gave him that because the moment he latched on me all rage disappeared liked it was never even there.
After putting the notes down into a box where I kept all his gifts and handwritten note, I got up from the chair causing a little pain in my area. I rolled my eyes in as memories came flashing back.
I would have killed the guy if I hadn't mastered the art of limping months ago. He was getting out of hands, this honeymoon pace needed to end. Because at this point the pain shooting north was nothing but a symbol of our passionate nights.
Wearing one of Nick's black tee and my grey sweatpants I walked into the kitchen without a care in the world. I took a seat on the stool beside the island as Cora cooked breakfast at the stove.
" Here you go. " she smiled holding out a plate of avocado toast, some bacons and egg.
" Thank you, Cora. " I grinned and started digging in.
After I basically inhaled my breakfast, I headed back to the bedroom for a nap because I was so fucking exhausted and I blamed Nick for keeping me up all fucking night. That guy needed to be stopped since he never knew when to stop.
Life as the boss's girlfriend was fantastic. I never had to lift a single finger. All the works I got was the fun stuff such as going on a killing free with Nick or going weapons shopping with Alana.
I laid in bed thinking about how my life had drastically changed over the passed few months all because I fell in love with the enemy's son which led me to betray my own father. But, all was worth it.
I would choose him over anyone in heartbeat with no regrets and hesitation.
He had given me so much more than a person had ever offered me. The luxury of his love alone was enough to make me bowed down to him and did just about anything to keep him safe, in my arms.
" How are you, Nana Lou? " I spoke through the phone smiling from ears to ears.
" You never sound so happy, sweet child. " she responded in her soft voice responded and I could almost imagine the smile on her face right now.
" I'm happy. "
" Thank you, grandma. I wouldn't be here if you didn't push me to live. I listened to your advice and I have never been more happy. "

" I'm living my life, just live. " a small smile played on my lips as I talked.
After the long phone call with my beloved old lady, I finally got off the bed and decided to start my day. Changing into a pair of sport bra and leggings, I went out and headed to the gym downstairs.
I had only been here a couple of times during my stay here because I was so caught up with Nick and never really wanted to come. At least not until I noticed that I was starting to get out of shape.
In the middle of the huge room there was a boxing ring and on it were Mrs Salvatore and Mrs King. I stood leaning against the door frame watching the two best friends for awhile as they sparred one another.
" You fight like a little bitch, Vic. " Alana scoffed rolling her eyes at her best friend.
" Not everyone is as fit as you are in their fifties, you fucking skinny bitch. " Victoria fired back causing the smirk on Alana's face to grow even bigger.
I watched the two bickered back and forth as they sparred with amusement until they noticed there was someone watching from the corner. I was caught red handed so I gave them a nervous smile before walking closer to the ring. They both jumped out of there when I reached them.
" You watch all that? " Victoria asked.
" Most of it. I'm sorry. "
" Who do you think won? " she asked and my eyes almost fell out of their sockets.
How would I pick between my boyfriend's mother and aunt? I was as dead as a fucking dead meat.
" I think it's tie, aunt Vicky. " a voice emerged out of nowhere causing the three of us to turn to the source.
Elliot Salvatore in flesh and bone stepping down the treadmill shirtless in his black shorts. Sweat glistening over his toned body making his abs and muscles stood out liked he just walked out of a magazine cover. He ran his hand through his wet hair familiar grey eyes glancing around the place as he chucked down a bottle of water.
I gulped. I shouldn't be checking out my boyfriend's little brother who I shared a weird encounter with, wouldn't want that to happen ever again.
But, he was there and he looked at me first. I wouldn't touch just look.
Why would I when I had the hotter version sleeping in the same bed as me every nights.
" You sly little thing. But, honestly you can have all of my sons. I wouldn't mind. " Alana whispered beside me breaking me out of my daze.
" I wouldn't blame you either. I would totally understand. It ran in the Salvatore's gene. Everyone wants us. " Victoria smirked. I gulped nervously.
" Mother, please. Nico will tear me apart limp by limp. She's better off as my sister. " he shrugged.
That sounded like something Nick would do. The guy had been getting very possessive and way over protective over me. I still remembered the last time we went on a date, which was last week, he got a waiter fired and almost beat the shit out of him because the poor guy simply stared at me for more than five seconds.

However, most of all he had been the most amazing lover. It wasn't like I had anyone to compare him with, knowing my hoe era and me never having a serious relationship.
But, still he was trying to be the best boyfriend anyone could ask for setting very high standard for other guys.
The guy never failed to leave a note every morning before leaving for work with a single rose on the side and sometimes a tray of breakfast he prepared himself.
On our one month anniversary, he took me on another surprise dinner in the city of love. I almost jumped out of a building that one morning when I woke up to see Eiffel tower at the end of my feet until he appeared out of the bathroom in his white towel with his signature smirk on his face.
Obviously telling me that he was the better lover in our relationship. It wasn't a challenge but I took this thing very seriously and so I booked him a stripping show, starring me.
" I wouldn't trade Nick for anyone. "
" Good. Care for a sparring, Ms assassin? " Elliot cocked an eyebrow at me.
I heard Alana and Victoria gasped beside us telling me to beat the shit out of him.
" You're signing your own death wish, Eden's twin brother. " I smirked before getting into the ring.
" So arrogant. You're a Salvatore alright. " he chuckled following my lead.
" I have nothing to lose. If I lost, I was the brave girl who went up against a Salvatore man. But, if I win, you lost to a girl. " I smirked creating a scowl on his face.
Two pairs of eyes followed us around. We both stood in the middle of the ring on our fighting stance. The familiar Salvatore's famous pair of grey eyes never leaving mine as we moved around in circle waiting for one another to make the first move.
After moving around the ring for awhile I decided to strike the first move, finally starting the fight. I heard Alana and Victoria cheered from the side as my fist flew into the air aiming at his face but the bastard managed to dodge it in time. I threw another punch causing him a bit off guard that it landed on the square of his shoulder blade.
The fight went on with me throwing in punches and kicks while he just dodged, defending himself.
" For god's sake. Fight back. " I grunted jumping off the ground high kicking his jaw.
I watched him spat out blood as his mother and aunt cheered for me to go on. Then, their was liked something clicked in him getting him back on his stance, having his defense back up.
" Nico is going to kill me. " he muttered lowly under his breath.
Elliot narrowed his eyes, I furrowed my eyebrows trying to calculate what his next move was. I was too busy using my brain that I forgot to physically use my defense. And so his feet kicked my stomach with such strength, taking me by surprise.
Stumbling backwards, I hissed as the pain shot through my abdomen. He saw I was in pain and took the chance to suddenly whipped my legs from underneath, and my head hit the ground.
I had never been in so much pain. I learned how to tolerate and not show any sign of hurts to the enemy. Father made sure I mastered that. I never cared about getting myself hurt and maybe that was why I almost always won because as my father quoted, I fought to death.
However, in this moment I had no strength left and the fight barely started. I was so exhausted although I was sure as hell I didn't use that much strength. I just wanted to lay down so this fight needed to end.
Groaning, I rolled over and kicked him where the sun didn't shine making him dropped on his knees clutching his little buddy with a pained expression. I quickly got off the ground. My hands balled into fists and I wasted no time punching him square in the jaw. His body fell making a loud thud as my feet made contact with his chest, kicking him down.
" And, we have our winner. " Alana squealed getting into the ring.
I smiled at her weakly, my hand flew to my stomach clutching in pain. Victoria helped Elliot up before coming to congrats me on taking down her nephew.
Words became slurry and my visions was getting blurry as the room slowly started to fade away. Black dots formed around the space as everyone's faces began to disappear before my eyes. I could feel my body swaying in the air and I was prepared to fall when a pair of strong arms caught in time.
" Are you okay, baby? " Nick's concerned voice filled my ears and his handsome face suddenly appeared out of nowhere, clearing my sight.
Being my knight in shining armor as always.
" Just tired. " I gave him a weak smile, my arms clinging on to his neck.
" Then, let's get you to bed. " he said sweeping me off my feet and I was falling for him all over again.
" By taking her to bed, I hope you meant letting the poor girl sleep. " I heard Alana scolded her son making everyone in the room chuckled.
And, the last thing I felt was a light kiss on my forehead as my body was laid on clouds right before I fell into my slumber.
