《Forbidden Flower》Chapter 13

We both walked out of the room on full guard watching each other's back. He held an AK-47 in his arms while I had a silver dagger in my hand because these were all we could find in his room. I expected a closet full of weapons hidden somewhere in his bedroom but no, he had to decide to remodel the whole weapon room and moved it into his office instead.
But, a dagger was all I needed. One thing I learned as an assassin was to fight with or without weapon.
This however was going to be my first time fighting with a partner. I normally worked alone but tonight I was unprepared and we both needed to work with one another.
The elegance of the beautiful estate was gone and the homey atmosphere was replaced by smoke and dark fog creating a skeptical illustration. The floor that we both were on was isolated despite the banging sound of the bullets around the place.
We walked with our backs pressed together making sure that no one was attacking from behind anyone of us.
" Are you ready, princess? " he asked turning to face me raising his eyebrow as he rested the big gun on my shoulder shooting whoever behind me.
The sound of bodies dropping to the ground hit my ears but I didn't even care to turn back and watched.
" Been doing this since I was three, Nick. " I nodded my head making him smirked in delight.
We both slowly continued down the stair switching positions every few seconds making sure the coast in front and behind us were all clear.
A high pitch scream suddenly echoed through the house sending me on my full guard as I recognized it as the voice of his sister, Isabella Salvatore.
Nick's eyes darkened his fist clenched onto the gun which was in his hand until the back of his palm turned white. His jaw was tightened as he gritted his teeth in rage. He looked ready to kill liked a savage animal on its hunt.
" Go find your sister. " I said putting a hand on his shoulder.
I understood the needs to protect family in time liked this. Family was above all in the mafia world and we would kill to protect our loved ones.
" I'm not leaving you. " he glared.
" You do realize that if I die tonight, you will eliminate one of your enemy off the list, right? " I chuckled shaking my head.
" If you're going to die, you're dying under my hands. Not anyone else's. " he said clenching his jaw.
Was this supposed to be romantic? Because I was totally convinced that it was his way of saying that he didn't want me to die. At least not tonight.
" We're going together. Or do you want me to go alone so you can escape? " he asked cocking an eyebrow at me.
Little did he know I had never ever planned on escaping. To be honest the thought of leaving this place had never crossed my mind since I got trapped here, I had planned to stay from the start.
" I'm not going to escape. " I stated truth.

" You're still coming with me. Let's go. " he grunted before pulling me with him by my wrist.
We were about to go back into the ball room, where the party was held, when four men in black came running toward me and snipers shooting bullets our ways from the outside.
Nicholas wasted no time firing back at those motherfuckers while I turned to take care of the gun-less giant liked men whose faces were covered by black masks.
He gave a longing looks as he shot away the bullets, as if he was trying to ask if I would be okay.
" I got it. " I whispered earning a stern nod from him.
The four of them stride closer to me and before I knew it I was surrounded. Their big bodies towered over my much smaller frame covering Nicholas completely out of my sight. I knew exactly what they were planning to do, separating the two of us just so they had more advantages over us. I slowly walked in circle eyeing them all carefully as they watched right back at me.
I knew I was in my killing mode when the sound of bullets blocked out of my ears. I could no longer hear anything rather than the footsteps I made, my eyes focused on my new preys.
Not one of them made the first move which confused me but I couldn't careless, they were only giving me the upper hand.
I made the first move swinging my fist in the air aiming at the two who were much closer to me right at their jaws making them stumbling backwards.
And, just liked that the fight began.
A powerful punch hit my side but I ignored the pain. My lips stretched into a small smirk as I turned toward the other two throwing my leg sideways kicking them down south where the sun doesn't shine making them lost their balance holding onto their crotches.
From the side of my eyes I saw the broken jaws dudes coming my way their hands balled into fists ready to attack me.
I wasted no time taking my hidden weapon out of the waistline of my thong. Jumping on one of them I kicked the other in his stomach sending him back to floor, my legs wrapped around the taller man's abdomen tightly as he tried to pull me off him but failed miserably when my dagger met contact with his throat slitting it opened. His lifeless body fell to the floor making a loud thud right after I jumped off him.
" Fucking bitch. " the man who seemed to have recovered from his broken dick snarled rushing toward me.
His fist met my jaw making me tasted blood in my mouth. Gritting my teeth in rage I swung the dagger into his left eyes before pulling it out again to stab his chest repeatedly until his body fell to the ground with me on top of him, his blood shot all over my body and face but I couldn't stop.
I only moved off his dead body when the last two grabbed my body throwing me off his friend. Wrong move. I got quickly high kicking him in his stupid face catching him off guard before I stabbed the dagger into his neck taking him out.

I turned back to the last one with a smirk on my face while he looked at me liked I was some sort of psychopath, that I was.
I again jumped on him like a lion hunting for its prey, my legs wrapped around his shoulder while hands twitching his head to the side breaking his neck. The limp of his body fell down to floor when a cracking sound hit my ear, but I wasn't done. With the dagger still tightly held in my palm I began making artworks on him.
I wanted more blood, I was lost in my killing zone.
" Ana, that's enough. Let's go. " a pair of arms pulled away from the bloodied corpse.
I grunted under my breath glaring at the four dead bodies on the ground but got off them anyways. Nick took a swift looks over my bloodied body with a blank expression on his face reminding me that he was good at hiding emotions and that I would never be able to read his expressions.
" You just killed four men who were twice bigger than you. " he said putting my hair behind my ears.
" Yeah so? " I cocked an eyebrow at him making him shook his head.
" Let's go save your sister or whoever is in there. " I shrugged pulling him into the room.
The fancy guests were all gone although there were some dead on the floor on the pool of their own blood. The Salvatore's stood next to each other with guns in each hands, even Eden, who had chosen to stay in his room during the party, had decided to join the shooting breakout. Standing with them were all three of the King family and the famous guard Dean and Noel ready to put their lives on the line.
I admired how their mafia was also their family a rare thing to find in my father's mafia. We worked together fine and would also die for each other but it was only because it was our duties as the members, there was no bonds liked the one this mafia shared with one another.
Thomas Parker, the eighteen years old kid who I recruited for my father mafia and who I trained by myself stood in the middle of the ruined party with a knife pressed to the head of the youngest Salvatore's throat.
My father sent his men here. And, I had just killed four of them. My life was a fucking mess. I helped my enemy.
He wore a black mask just liked every other men who lied dead on the ground, showing only his green eyes. But, I knew that green eyes anywhere and the way he stood in his stance, the way he held the knife represented me, I taught him after all.
I saw him before he found me so I stood hidden behind Nicholas's tall figure peaking to see him from time to time. I watched as his eyes scanned the entire room watching everyone carefully before deciding what to do next, just liked I had taught him.
" What the fuck do you want? " Mr Seth Salvatore barked his vein popping out of his neck as his wife held him back.
But, little Thomas wasn't aware of what was about happened behind his back. This little motherfucker never listened when I said to always watch your back and be aware of the unknown.
Everyone started to bark at each other filling the big room with shouting and empty threats.
I quietly slipped out of the scene without no one noticing. I dived down behind the long broken table which was filled with food a few hours ago. Crawling on the floor full of shattered plates was hard, both of my knees were cuts and bloodied when I reached the other end of the ball room.
I flinched getting a piece of glass out of my skin mentally cursing under my breath while I asked myself what the hell was I doing. I was helping the ones I supposed to kill again and was about to kill another one of my own people. It was stupid of me to do so but I couldn't help the need to help them out.
I would thought of this as an act to earn their trust just to make myself left guilty for ruining my father's sudden attacks.
" I told you to always watch your back. " I snarled lowly in his ear as I reached the two.
Stabbing my dagger into the side of his neck, Thomas stumbled backwards with his hand on the wound losing Isabella out of his grip. I pushed her toward her family before turning back to the my stupid student, a fucking disappointment.
I stopped dead in my track when I saw a gun pointing at me. He aimed to shoot right in my heart, a signature aim of my father's mafia specially made for the traitor. He knew I had sworn omertà to the Salvatore's mafia.
I cocked an eyebrow at him urging him to shoot me. And, with shaky hand he pulled the trigger. I scoffed when the bullet hit my side. He suck at shooting too. A fucking disappointment indeed. Blood oozed out of my body drenching the already bloodied white shirt, it was safe to say that I looked like I just had a blood bath.
Hissing at the pain I was starting to feel I kicked the gun out of his hand before catching it mid air. Smiling at the cold substance wrapped under my finger I winked at the eighteen years old and pulled the trigger sending a solid bullet right into his skull.
" What? " I asked after I turned back to the family who were now staring at me with unreadable expressions.
" Are you okay? " I asked the blonde little girl who was a replica of her mother.
" Am I okay? Are you okay? You're the one who got shot because of me. " Isabella muttered lowly.
" A bullet won't kill me. " I said before everything turned black, my body fell into a pair of strong arms.
