I wake up to a knock at my door .

"Come in" I say still half asleep, I look up and see my mom

"Good morning" she comes sit on my bed. I Lean up and hug her

"I missed you" I tell her

"I missed you too. I'm sorry I've been working so much I just been made partner so I have to work long hours" she says with a sad smile

"It's okay I understand" I say with a smile so she won't feel bad

"How was school is everyone being nice?" She asks

"Yeah nicer than they used to be"I shrug

"Is Caleb being nice?" She asks and I can she's ready to go yell at Caleb if I say no

"Yes"

"Listen as much as I love that your home but if the kids start being mean again you can go back and live with aunt Jenny"

"Okay thanks" I give her another hug

"Okay you better get up and get dressed I have to go. have a good day today" and with that she leaves

I finish getting ready and go downstairs to the kitchen. I see Caleb eating cereal

"Morning" I say as I grab a piece of fruit

"Morning" he says back as he eats his cereal

"Are you going to Jeff Bronson party tonight?" I ask him

"Yeah why?" He asks with a raised eyebrow

"I'm going too"I tell him

"Your kidding right? You never go to parties" he say looking confused

"That was the old me plus it will be fun even if it is Jeff's party"

"Okay I guess I'll see you there"

"Yes you will. Okay see you at school" I say as I walk out of the kitchen

I pull up at school and spot Kayla. I walk over to her "hey"

"Hey I still can't believe your back" she says smiling at me

"Me too I'm happy that I came back" I smile

We go to our classes and then it's lunch time. I invite shay and Vanessa to sit with us again

"So what are you guys wearing tonight?" shay asks us

"I don't know. you guys should come over and we can get ready at my house" I say to them

"Really?" Vanessa ask looking shocked that I would invite her to my house

"Yeah if you want"

"I'm in" shay says

"I want to look hot" Kayla says

"Okay then it's settled everyone can get ready at my house and I'll drive us to Jeff's" I announce

"You used to hate parties you said they were just a reason to get drunk and hook up with some random person" Kayla says looking at me

"I know Caleb said that too but like I told him this is the new me and I went to a couple of parties at the other high school they were really fun. I even threw a party at my aunts house" I laugh

"No way!" Kayla says laughing

"Yeah it was fun but the next day wasn't. I had to clean in a rush before aunt Jenny got there so I convinced most of the football team to help" I laugh at the memory

"That's awesome how did you do that?" shay ask

"I helped them on there homework. Plus one of my good friends is on the team so he helped convince them too"

"Wow I so wish I could of lived up there with you it sounds like you had a lot of fun" Kayla says

"I did"
