5 hours later and everyone was starting to get a little tired out as we arrived at the restaurant. I climbed the creaky wooden steps and studied the building. It was fairly small and looked quite old but definitely had that homey feeling. Zack swung the door open and held it for everyone. I have him a small smile as I passed and entered the building. The floors were wooden, and the walls were painted a darker Grey. All sorts of paintings and metal signs were hung throughout the place.

"How many people?" The shorter woman at the front desk asked. She looked like she was about in her mid-forties.

"6" Sammy said smiling at the woman. She nodded and led the way after telling us to follow her. She stopped and placed our menus at a big corner booth. Everyone slid in and thanked her as she slid the menus out to each person and said someone would be there shortly to take our orders.

Eric, Cody, and Kyle sat on the one side while Sammy sat with Zack and I on the other. Zack was on the end while I was in the middle of him and Sammy.

"The mini pizzas are great here, and they have killer milkshakes." Kyle said looking over to me.

"Pizza and milkshakes?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

Kyle smiled at me and replied. "Don't knock 'em till you try 'em."

I smiled at him while shaking my head before opening my menu. The rest of the boys did too but they all probably already knew what they wanted. I decided on a mini cheese pizza and a strawberry milkshake, listening to Kyle's advice.

"Well, Well, Well, look who it is." a southern accent drew out as a plump lady walked up to our table smiling and shaking her head.

"Hey molly! You're looking beautiful as always." Cody said grinning at the lady and winking.

"Oh stop it boy." Molly said shaking her head as she pulled the pen off her notepad that she had in her hands.

"It's been pretty boring here without you guys coming in and terrorizing everyone." she said with a laugh at the end.

I couldn't help but smile at her friendly attitude. My smile brightened as she turned to me curiously.

"And who might this pretty young lady be?" she asked raising her eyebrows at the boys.

"She's Zack's girlfriend." Eric said grinning. My jaw dropped and I could feel the heat rush to my face as I just stared at him. The boys tried not to laugh as Molly turned back to me.

"You are?" she asked surprised.

"Uh no, he's just joking." I said looking at her while probably still blushing slightly.

"Ah I see, I should know better than to believe these boys, although you two would look so cute together." she said winking at me as Zack threw his arm over my shoulder.

"Wouldn't we?" he asked smirking as I shoved his arm off of me.

"You sure would dear. Now, what are boys guys gettin' today?" her voice rung out as she looked around the booth to all of the boys. They went down the line reciting their orders. Everyone ended up getting mini pizzas and their different flavors of milkshakes.

"Ya'll never change huh?" Molly drew out as she tucked her pen back in.

"I'll be back with your food shortly, try not to destroy anything while I'm gone." She said raising her eyebrows the boys. She smiled at me one last time before making her way back around the building where she disappeared out of our sight.

"Really Eric?" I asked looking over to him with wide eyes. He just shrugged and smiled a little. I shook my head before turning to glance at Zack only to see him grinning at me.

"So, Zoe..." Cody trailed off as everybody turned serious all of a sudden. I leaned back in my seat a little looking around confused.

"Guys no." Zack said slightly pleadingly.

"We have to do this Zack, it's a tradition." Eric said fighting back a smile. Zack stuttered trying to form a reply but sank back into his seat in defeat.

"I'm officially confused, what do you have to do?" I asked scrunching my eyebrows up. Everyone except Zack and I folded their hands on the table creepily in sync.

"Every new friend or girlfriend that starts to weasel their way into our lives, we play a little game with. Kind of like 50 questions if you will. We go around shooting questions at you and you have to answer truthfully. If we find a lie, you cannot be trusted, and we must exterminate you. Are you prepared for the most tense, nerve racking, life altering, moment of your life?" Cody asked in a deep voice.

"Little dramatic there don't you think?" Zack said rolling his eyes.

"Shut up Zack, you're ruining it." Cody said with a sigh as he looked at the boy sitting next to me.

"Fine." Zack said leaning back into his seat again. Cody cleared his throat and looked back to me.

"Do you swear to be completely truthful in your answers?" Cody asked with raised eyebrows.

"Uhhhhh... sure?" I said as more of a question than a reply.

"let's begin then." Kyle said smirking.

Oh great.

Eric started first since he was at the start of the booth.

"What's your favorite color?" He asked seriously. Definitely not what I expected but okay.

"Don't have one specifically but top ones are dark red, blue, black, gold and teal." I said amused.

"Favorite period at school?" Cody asked next.

"lunch." I said smirking.

"Favorite memory?" Kyle asked.

"I'm not quite sure, probably something to do with Julia"

"Who's Julia?" Sammy asked. This was probably the most serious I had ever seen him.

"My best friend."

Eric started to ask another question but was cut off by Zack.

"Hey, it's my turn." he said to Eric.

"Fine." Eric replied before the questions continued.

"What's your favorite food?" Zak asked.

"Don't really have one, maybe burgers?"

"Boring, back to Julia, who is she?" Eric asked.

"My best friend."

"Where is she right now? I've never seen you with anybody at school."

"She's on vacation, getting back tomorrow."

"Where do you live?"

"In my house."

"Who do you live with."

"Myself." I answered knowing what was coming next.

"You live alone?" Zack asked curiously looking over to me.

"Kind of." is all I replied with.

"What about your parents?" Eric asked with scrunched up brows.

"My mom travels a lot." I replied clenching my jaw hoping they would drop it.

"What about your dad?" Cody asked. I crossed my arms and his hid clenched fists.

"Not in the picture." I said trying to keep a steady voice. His mouth formed an o as I looked down to the table and felt the familiar feeling of anxiety constrict my chest.

"Hey, would you look at that, foods here." Zack chirped as molly walked to the table with a huge tray carrying our food.

I looked up to Zack to see he was giving me a small smile. I nodded my head slightly and my lips turned upwards at him for a second before we both turned our attention to the food.

I let out a sigh as I waited for all the dishes to be passed around. I was thankful for Zack turning the subject away and helping me out. I smiled to myself slightly as I looked around to everybody who had just started to dig into their food. Today was probably the best day I had in quite a while.

****************************

After we had gotten our food and started to eat, the questions were all forgotten. We all started to get pretty worn out and decided it was probably time to head home a while later. Eric got his food paid for and so did I because Zack insisted.

We all climbed into the cars and pulled off heading back. Zack and Eric were in the back with me as Cody and Sam were in the front seats. Kyle had to go stop somewhere so the rest of us just decided to cram into one car so the rest of the boys didn't have to wait longer to get home.

I was in the middle of the two guys in the back and I ended up pulling my knees up to my chest. I leaned my head back on my seat and closed my eyes. Zack tugged my arm over softly and I opened my eyes to look at him. He motioned for me to put my head on his shoulder and I did after giving him a sleepy smile. My head rested on him as the car curved around the winding roads. It was silent other than the sound of the tires on the road, everyone was dead tired from the day they had.

The slightly bumpy road lulled me to sleep right as I felt Zack's head rest on the top of mine lightly.
