《Meum Miraculum》Chapter 10

He came towards me arms out stretched, before pressing me against him.
"Mine" he muttered possessively, burying his face in my neck inhaling deeply. My eyes were wide open as I stared straight ahead, my body unable to move, I was frozen. My eyes gazed at the door that seemed so far right now unable to blink, the tense back of his strong neck in my view, bluish green veins protruded from his tan skin, there was something so terrifyingly animalistic about the way he help himself.
"All mine." He grabbing word against my skin, the scrape of his teeth against my soft skin awakening me from my paralyzed state.
I trembled in his arms desperately trying to get away and he let out a ferocious growl, angered by the attempts his mate made to escape his hold. He pulled back from my throat to be able to look into my eyes, but kept his arms tightly around me.
"Don't try to get away from me. You belong to me." He said his eyes darkening as he stared at me, before pressing me back into his chest. I squirmed in his grasp, unable to stay still, the door was just across the room, I just had to get to it. The brass of the door knob shined tauntingly as I looked at it hopelessly trapped in his arms. His arms tightened around me as he crushed my chest to his, growling in warning against me.
I weaselled my arms out of his hold, doing the only thing I could think of. The smooth skin of his face ripping under my fingernails as I raked them down his face. His hold loosened enough for me to pull away, but the look on his face had me unable to move. I couldn't help but miss the tender look his scorching hazel eyes had always held, but this, this was what this man truly was the Alpha of all dominating obsessive Alpha males.
His canines extended as he growled deeply making the very core of the earth shake. He came towards me again blood dripping out of the fresh cuts my nails had left on his soft tan skin. His arms wrapped around my waist, and he hoisted me up into his arms before throwing me roughly onto the cream coloured bed.
"You thought you could get away mate?" He asked, something sinister darkening his eyes now but it wasn't long that I got the luxury of simply looking at him above me. I felt the weight of his body pining down my much smaller form, his face burying itself in my neck. A shiver taking down my spine as I felt his hot warm tongue right above my collarbone, the sensation taunting me, telling me of what to come next, and every muscle in my body tensed in terrified anticipation. He licked over my skin roughly, before his canine dig into the skin, tearing it open brutally.

I let out a bloodcurdling scream as the pain of his canines ripping through my soft skin registered, blood immediately pooling from the wound, wetting the sheets beneath me as I thrashed in his hold. The creme coloured silk of the pillows stained scarlet with my blood, as my body trembled violently once beneath him before going completely still.
I jolted awake, and nearly screamed when I saw the cream coloured silk sheets. I shot out of bed scrambling to get the sheets off my legs as I desperately panted for breath. A soft knock was heard on the door and I wiped my damp hair back from my face, panting deeply, my hands shaking as I tried to wipe the sweat from my upper lip. The fear still coursing through me from the horrifyingly realistic dream. A part of me wishing desperately to run out of this castle right now, to run so far that Knight would never be able to find me. A place where no one even knew of him. My eyes burnt with unshed tears as the longing to hug my parents filled me.
Another slightly louder knock sounded on the door, I swiped at my eyes, taking a few deep breaths before calling for the person to enter.
The butler from the first day walked in, giving me a short bow. He took one look at my face and his brows creased immediately but he said nothing, choosing rather to look away from me.
"Ma'am Sire Knight has gone out on very important work but he will be back at night, he has asked me to give you a tour of the house if you would wish so." He said ensuring to look everywhere but me. I was about to refuse when I realized there was no need to be brisk with the help, they were simply doing their job. Admittedly the palace was absolutely stunning, a tour would have to be in order. Perhaps it would even get my mind off of the dream, and if Knight wasn't home then there wasn't any reason that I couldn't take a tour of the magnificent palace.
" I would like that actually, just give me an hour so I can get ready." I said awkwardly.
"Of course Miss, and your breakfast is ready should I send it in?" He asked and I nodded calling out a thank you as he left abruptly.
A young maid walked in and she gave me a short bow before rolling the trolley in, ladened with a variety of breakfast foods. She looked at me with skeptical eyes, the innocence shun in her crystal blue eyes and I gave her a small smile. She smiled back at me softly before turning to leave.
I finished my breakfast not even able to eat a quarter of the delicious food, before I was full and reluctantly I climbed out of bed. Grabbing fluffy white towels before climbing into the shower. The warm water cascading down my skin, soothing my tense muscles, my shoulders finally relaxing as I felt no stinging near my collarbone. It had been just a dream, sweeping my hair aside I stared at the unblemished pale skin that stretched taut over my collarbone. Pressing my shaky fingertips to it, as memories of my dream flashed before my eyes.

Getting out of the shower once I'd rinsed all the shampoo and soap off myself I quickly pulled my clothes on after toweling off. I glanced at the clock, my eyes widening as I realized I was running late. I rushed out the door, nearly tripping over my own feet as I struggled to pull socks on, but once I was out I realized I had no idea where to go.
I stood there confused, not knowing where to find the butler, and decided to turn back into my room, but before I could I felt a little force collide with my legs. I nearly tumbled backwards, only catching myself by throwing out my arms on my sides. Looking down to see a tiny chestnut coloured curly haired boy with big blue eyes staring up at me glassy eyed. My heart clenched seeing his beautiful blue eyes fill with tears.
I crouched down to his level intending to comfort him but he stumbled back.
"Hey baby, what's wrong?" I asked and the boy looked at me closely seeming to analyze me.
He looked down shamefully before mumbling a small.
"I lost my daddy." Under his breath and I almost let out a coo when he looked up with an adorable pout.
"I'll help you find him okay munchkin?" I say softly and he looked at me before nodding slowly. Slowly I bent down, holding my hand out for him and he placed his tiny hand in mine. His big blue eyes staring at our conjoined hands curiously before looking up at me. I tilted my heads towards the hallway and he gave me a little nod. Standing back up, I tightened my hold on his hand, and we were off.
While searching for his father, I couldn't help but to admire the palace, it was so beautifully decorated. Also my unwilling tour guide was much more adorable than I'd initially expected. The palace was somehow simplistic in its lack and of excessive decor, but extravagant in its contrasting colours and well placed antiques. A soft sob sounded from beside me and I turned to the little cherub walking beside me, stilling to a stop. I bent down to his level, resting on one knee to be eye level with him. Letting go of his hand I rested my hands on his little waist, before speaking to him softly.
"It's okay baby, we'll find your dad don't worry." I cooed while he looked up at me with his big watery eyes before puffing out his chest.
"I'm not worried I'm big now, I don't worry when I can't find my daddy." He said and I smiled at him softly pressing a kiss to his little head, before getting up to see the butler running towards us.
"I'm so sorry Miss this is my son, he was supposed to be having breakfast but he sneaked off." The butler said grabbing a hold of the little munchkin and pulling him into his arms gently. Giving the little blue eyed boy a stern look, but anyone could see how relieved he was to have found his son.
"What's his name?" I asked.
"Adrian and this is my daddy." The little blue eyes boy replied cuddling further into his father.
"Say bye to Miss.Amara." He cooed to his son affectionately. Adrian leaned forward from his father's arms pressing a quick kiss to my cheek, before pulling back blushing, taking my heart along with him.
"I'll just be right back Ma'am." The butler said, before walking off speaking softly to his son and Adrian gave me a small wave before digging his face into his father's shoulder. He was so heartbreakingly cute I wanted to keep the little munchkin forever, how could one be so cute?
I had only been waiting for a short while when the butler came back completely composed now and apologized before gesturing for me to follow him. He was like a completely different person, the affectionate father was completely concealed behind the professional and diligent worker.
We walked around the house, him showing me different artifacts and telling me the history behind them as he went. Every room of the palace was absolutely extraordinarily beautiful, laden with timeless furniture, and antique decor that seemed to only be suitable to the grandness of this palace. Surely it had always been here.
We turned a hallway, and at the end was a room closed off by two large mahogany wood doors. I patiently walked behind Frank, the butler but he passed right by the room not even acknowledging it.
"What's in there?" I asked and Frank turned around, and I gestured towards the doors.
"Mr.Knight insisted he himself would show you that room." The butler said and I frowned nodding as we walked along.
"But won't you at least tell me what's in there." I asked worrying about what could possible be in there that Alaricus Knight would want to show me himself.
"I'm not allowed to tell." The butler said.
"Miss, your room." The butler said and I looked up surprised to see we were back.
"Thank you for the tour." I said before walking into my room wondering what ever could be in that one room.
