"Y/N, I'm gonna miss you!" Dakota blubbered, tears streaming down her face as she gave you a bone-crushing hug. You wheezed, also starting to tear up.

"Me too, Kota...I'll try to text you whenever I have time...!"

Dakota pulled away from you, eyes shining with tears. She gave you a wistful smile, eyes softening.

"Damn, you'd better remember me when you're famous."

"I don't know about becoming famous, but I'll never forget you." You laughed, eyes twinkling. "You're my best friend, Kota."

Dakota cried even more, gently pushing you away. "Go already, dumb bitch, before I hold you hostage and get sent to jail for kidnapping!"

You chuckled softly, eyes crinkling up at the corners. You turned, starting to walk away. "Alright. Bye, hoe."

"Bye, thot!" Dakota yelled, waving at you. And so you walked towards your waiting father, ready to start a new life in Musutafu, Japan.

You stepped onto the plane, heart pounding with excitement. You felt someone tug on your bag, and looked up to see your father smiling down at you.

"Hand me your bag, kiddo, and buckle up."

You smiled back at him, relinquishing your grip on your suitcase as he started to pull it towards him. You glanced down at your ticket, eyebrows furrowing.

"2A...oh, that's towards the front."

You walked past your father, scanning the rows of seats. "2A...2A...there it is."

You sat down, sighing and closing your eyes. You were unbelievably tired, for the first time in a while, and you wanted nothing more than to just relax and rest on the plane. Unfortunately, this plane seemed to be crowded with single mothers who had crying babies. You grumbled and attempted to cover your ears, but to no avail, as the babies kept on crying. You groaned quietly as your dad ducked, trying to avoid hitting his head, and sat down next to you. He glanced at you, smiling pitifully.

"Too many babies on this plane, right?"

"Way too many. Even if I detached my ears, I would still be able to hear them." You grumbled, running a hand through your messy H/C hair. Your dad sighed, staring up at the round ceiling lights.

"If only I could make earplugs out of my string right now. Then these dreadful screams could be silenced."

You laughed, taking out your phone and holding it away from your face. "Smile, dad. Airplane picture time."

Your father grinned up at the camera, both of you making a peace sign as you quickly snapped some photos. You brought your phone back onto your lap as the intercom came on and the captain started to speak, scrolling through the pictures you took. "Damn- I mean dang, one of them's blurry. Oh well."

Your father raised a brow at your slip-up, and you smiled sheepishly, apologizing. You opened Instagram, hurriedly posted the photos, and then turned your phone on airplane mode and shut it off. You started to listen to what the captain was saying, although his voice was hard to hear through the tinny-sounding speakers.

"...additionally, please note that if you have any crying infants with you, we will have Marissa, our stewardess with a sleeping quirk, come by and assist you."

"Yesss." You sighed in relief, head flopping back against the seat as you heard the babies' cries hush. Your eyes closed, and you sunk against the chair you were in as the plane started to take off.

"Are you ready to start our new life, Y/N?" Your dad said, making you open your eyes back up. You turned to him, beaming.

"Yep. I already have a list of things I wanna do and try once I get there."

"You still speak fluent Japanese, right?"

"Yeah, haven't forgot it since that lady's quirk burned like, every language into our minds."

"Hmm. But can you write in kanji, katakana, and hiragana?"

"Yep. Learned that, too. I might be a bit rusty, though. The question is, can you speak Japanese and write in Japanese characters?"

"Of course I can! We heroes had to learn every language, just like you!"

"Okay, dad." You laughed, closing your eyes again. "I'm gonna get some sleep for a while."

"Wow, how long has it been since you've last slept, Y/N? I can't even remember."

"Let's see...the first time I slept was when I was five...I'm sixteen now...I'd say it's been about a couple years? Maybe three?"

"Three years, huh? Well, this really is a special day!" Your father chuckled, shaking his head. "Get some sleep, kiddo."

"Alright, dad."

You shut your eyes for the third time, exhaling calmly. A small smile grew on your face as you thought of all the things you wanted to do in Japan. But one thought was most prominent out of all of them.

'I can't wait to finally meet you, Katsuki Bakugo.'
