*CARMENS POV*

As I wake up to the sound of my alarm, I feel my nose is all stuffy and I'm colder than usual. I turn over slightly to turn off my alarm which is giving me a headache. I groan touching my own forehead feeling it's hot.

I wrap myself in my blankets tighter curling up. I let one of my arms out of the comfort of my blankets and reach for my phone bringing it near to me. I shiver a bit and snuggle my head into my pillow.

I really need to get up so I can take some medicine. I cough and feel my throat is really dry. I roll over onto my back. I open my eyes a little seeing a bit of morning light being shined through my window.

I grab my phone and see it's now 6:55 AM. I sniffle a bit. I hate the felling of my nose being stuffy it's so annoying and uncomfortable. I groan and slowly taking the blankets off of me. I instantly get cold and put the blankets back onto of me.

I look to see at my uniform where it's hanged. I'm not even gonna get changed today or go to class I'm feeling way to sick and tired. But I still need to go and get something to eat.

I quickly get out of bed and grab my over sized hoodie. I put my hair into a messy bun and put on my sneakers. I'm still wearing my sweats from last night. I go over to my drawer and pull out a mask. Whatever I have I don't want to spread onto someone else.

I grab some tissues and blow my nose before putting on my mask. I head for the front door walking slowly. My body aches a little but I still manage. I open the front door and close it behind me.

As I'm outside my door I get a whiff of chicken Alfredo. I look around but see no one. Hmm interesting must be getting this scent because I'm sick.

I walk toward the elevator and press the down button. I cough into my shoulder then walk into the elevator which takes me down. I head straight to the dining hall.

As I walk in I get greeted by the smell of fresh breakfast food. As I make my way to the food section I see that all the littles and doms are already seated in our usual table.

I'm pretty sure that they saw me because I stick out like a sore thumb because I'm not wearing my uniform. I grab a tray and start to fill it up with food. Instead of getting my normal apple juice I always get I change it for a hot tea.

As soon as I have my food I grab some utensils and put them on my tray. I make my way to the exit before I feel a soft tap on my shoulder. I turn around and see Zane standing there giving me a half warm smile. I hold back on rolling my eyes at him.

"What?" I say my voice sounding a tad different because of my throat.

"You look sick Carmen you shouldn't be out here, you should be in bed resting." He tells me.

Wow it's like I've never thought about that! I just look at him and nod. I make my way to the exit again and he follows behind me.

"Carmen let me carry that for you." He tells me walking up to my side.

"No I'm good," I say coughing away from him. He doesn't say anything and just grabs my tray of food. I stop in my racks but he keeps walking.

As he keeps walking he says, "you know with all that standing around the food is gonna get cold by the time we get to your dorm," I cross my arms. I hate that he's right. I continue to walk and slowly catch up to him.

We get to the elevator and walk in together. "Why are you here Zane? I'm pretty sure Olivia needs you more than I do" I say crossing my arms and shivering a bit.

Zane gives me a worried look. He touches my forehead with one hand and holds the tray with the other, "Carmen you're literally burning up. Why didn't you call the office to bring you up food?!" His voice sounds genuine towards me. But I'm pretty sure he's faking it.

The door opens and we both walk out. We both walk towards my dorm. As soon as we get there I look at him.

"Are you not going to open the door?" He asks me still holding my tray.

"Give me my food. You're not allowed in." I hold out my hands so he can place the tray on them.

He sighs at what I just said and hands me the tray. I open the door and walk in closing it behind. I wait by the door to hear footsteps walking away. Good he's gone.

I walk over to my table and place down the tray. I'm honestly not feeling that hungry but I know I have to eat. I take a couple bites off of my food before I stop. I sigh in frustration but I keep eating.

I finish eating and leave my tray on the table. I don't feel like cleaning it up. I go to my bedroom and curl up into bed once again.

I start to feel tired and drowsy so I slowly close my eyes and fall asleep.

I wake up still feeling sick. I need to take some medicine. I thought sleep would make it go away but it didn't. I get out of bed and look for some medicine but there's none that would help me.

I need to go to the office. They'll most likely have something. I walk to my door and open it. I look down and see Zane sitting there with a basket.

He stands up quickly and picks the basket up, "hey uh...I brought you a couple things I thought you could use..." he says holding the basket up smiling at me softly. There was a stuffy in there, snacks, bath bombs, and medicine in it.

"Thank you, but I don't need it. I'm going to the office," I say trying to move pass him but he sort of blocks me.

"Carmen go back to bed you shouldn't be going out. I got everything you need in this basket,"

He was right everything I needed seem to be in the basket. But I don't want to take it from him, it'll give off the impression that I forgive him or something.

"Please Carmen. Let me take care of you. Just for today, then I'll stop bothering you," he tells me. I sigh, if this gets him off my back then sure.

"Fine," I open my door and walk back inside with him behind me.

This better not end up bad...
