shouldn't stay here, I should just leave and forget about him forever but I just can't. I couldn't even tell him how much I love him when I had the chance.
I see Cassie walking down the stairs from the corner of my eyes and she walks straight to where I am.
"Go and get me my phone from my room, Sasha."
I scowl at her with hatred. "I'm not your errand girl."
She stares at me from head to toes with irritation evident on her face for a while before bursting into uncontrollable laughter. "Omg...did you just say that you're not my errand girl?"
"Y-Yes?" I bite my lips and almost curse at how unsteady my voice is.
"You are a maid to the Jeffersons and I am Jace's fiancé so technically, you're are also my maid. Now go upstairs and get me my phone before I lose it." She snarls with a snap of her fingers.
"Well I'm no longer a maid in this house, I already graduated from high school and I'm no longer indebted to this family."
She stares at me in amusement and a wide smile takes over her face. "Good, now that you no longer work for this family, I think it will be best for you to pack your stuff and leave so that a new housemaid can be employed. I will need to discuss that with Jace and trust me when I say that he listens to me..." She smirks at me in victory. "...a lot." She adds.
"W-What?" I stutter with my eyes wide open as realization dawns on me.
"I will see to it that you leave this house and go back to the streets you were picked up from if you don't listen to me and do exactly as I say."

"A-are you trying to blackmail me?" I muse quietly.
Cassie took advantage of Jace's memory loss for her selfish want and obsession. Now she wants to manipulate her way to get me sent out of the house when all I want is to get to see Jace every day and be close to him even if there is no hope of him remembering who I am. Is that too much to ask?
"Yes, I am blackmailing you. Now go upstairs and. Get. Me. My. Phone." She barks at me.
I curl my hand into a tight fist and take a deep breath to calm the anger and rage I am feeling right now. I also swallow my pride and walk towards the stairs to get her phone, for the sake of love.
I walk into the kitchen to prepare breakfast, even though I'm no longer a maid in the house, I still do most of the chores around. I spot Cassie already in the kitchen stirring a cup of steaming coffee, she jumps in shock when she heard my footsteps and she turns to see who it is. I know that I might have startled her a bit but the way she jerked back in shock made it seem as if she was doing something wrong that she didn't want anyone to find out about but all I can see her doing is making coffee.
Weird.
"How long have you been standing there?" She asks casually while turning back to the coffee she was stirring but I can tell she is eager to hear my reply.
"I just walked in," I reply indifferently while leaning against the counter and I hear her sigh in relief.
"Oh my...it's too hot in here." She says after a while.

She used her hand to fan herself dramatically and undo the first two buttons of her shirt or rather... Jace's shirt. I just noticed that she was actually wearing Jace's shirt. I close my eyes and take a few deep breaths as raw jealousy and hatred filled me from the strands of my hair to each of my toes. I'm boiling with rage, jealousy, frustration, and hatred but keep a neutral expression and relaxed pose even though all I want to is to sink my teeth into her neck and suck her dry like a freaking bloodthirsty vampire. I do not want to give her the satisfaction of seeing how affected I am.
Just when I got a good grip on my anger and jealousy when I thought it couldn't get worse, Cassie pushed the shirt down her left shoulder and I see the shoulder and part of her neck covered with a hickey.
I can't take it anymore, I think I'm going to explode anytime from now.
Three
There is a satisfied smug look plastered on her face as she carries the mug and walks past me to the kitchen entrance but stopped midway.
Two
"Be snappy and prepare the breakfast on time before Jace finishes having his shower." She smirks at me sweetly.
One
I don't know what I planned to do after the countdown but whatever it is was forgotten when I see Jace walk into the kitchen fully dressed in a white and black Armani suit. His hair is slightly damp like he just had a shower and perfectly styled to the back, from my peripheral vision-I'm busy ogling at Jace-I see Cassie quickly adjust her shirt thereby covering the hickey on her neck and shoulder. Why is she hiding it from him since he was the one that put it there in the first place?
His icy gaze slides to me with an unreadable expression on his face, it's almost like those days when he just came back from France and he was acting indifferently towards me.
"What is that your name again?"
I gap at him feeling a mixture of surprise and anger, is he kidding me right now? How could he forget my name again? After all, I have been 'reintroduced' to him.
"Sasha."
"Sasha, make sure my food is ready in the next 15 minutes." He orders and turns to Cassie who is already making her way towards him with the cup of coffee.
I wanted to tell him I'm not a maid in the house but then he will ask me to leave the house since I am no longer working for the family so I choose to keep my mouth shut instead.
"Here, I made some coffee for you. Drink while it's still hot." Cassie purrs and places her head on his chest as he takes the mug from her.
"Thank you, Cassie." He collects the mug from her and takes a huge gulp.
I watch as Cassie whispers something in Jace's ears and he burst out laughing, then he kissed her on the lips and gave her a small peck on her forehead before walking out of the kitchen.
I think I'm going to get sick and die of jealousy, I don't know how long I can take this before I break. When is Jace going to regain his memory? Even if he eventually regains his memories is there still hope for me?
