has surprisingly stopped bullying me completely even though she still acts cold and indifferent towards me sometimes. Just like her brother when we first got to know each other, I smile while working on my hair in front of the mirror.

I am preparing for the dinner I'm having with Jace today, I want to look beautiful for him. I wear the blue and silver knee-length dress he got from me and the silver platform sandal. I style my hair the best way I can and let it fall down my shoulders instead of the usual ponytail. I also put on the only piece of make-up I have, pink lipstick and mascara.

A few minutes later I hear someone knock on the door of my room and I take a deep breath knowing it is Jace. I open the door and stare at the handsome man in front of me, he looks really hot in the blue tuxedo he's wearing with his hair perfectly styled to the back.

"You like what you see?" He asks with a smirk.

My cheeks burns in embarrassment when I realized that I have been ogling at him for quite a while now.

Jace pins me to the wall with my hand above my head as he captures my lips in his and kissed me till I'm quivering and breathless. He tightens his hand around my waist and pulls me closer till there is no space left between us while I rake my hand into his hair to feel the silky black hair in my palm and kiss him back, I pour all my feelings for him in the kiss. He breaks the kiss after a while and rests his forehead against mine as we both breathe heavily.

"I love you, Princess." He whispers in my ear and my eyes widen in shock. Did Jace just say that he loves me?

I see her gap at me in shock while trying to process what I just said. Yes, I love her and I can no longer hide it from her. She has to know even if she isn't ready to say it back.

"And you're mine, Princess. Mine, do you hear me?"

"Yes, yours." she breaths out nervously and I smile at how innocent she is.

"Have I told you how beautiful your look?" She shakes her head. "You're are the most beautiful lady I have ever set my eyes upon."

My phone chooses that moment to start ringing but I chose to ignore it. I try to ignore it when it starts to ring the second time but Sasha narrows her eyes at me and I pick up without checking who is calling with my eyes glued to the gorgeous lady standing in front of me.

"Jace Adrian Jefferson." I hear my mother's angry voice and my eyes widen in surprise.

Shit! I have been ignoring her calls lately since I know the reason why she is calling and I'm not ready for that but now I picked up her call without knowing it's hers. I mute the call and turn to Sasha who is watching silently.

"Can you go and wait for me by the car." I pleaded and she nodded in agreement.

I give her a peck on the forehead and watch her walk away for a while, then I unmute the call while resting against the wall.

"Why haven't you been picking my calls? Huh?"

"I have been busy mom."

"Cut the crap!" She screeches.

Oh my, she is very pissed off.

"What is it that I'm hearing about you and Sasha?"

"Calm down mom, I..."

"You know what?"

"What?" I say while gripping my phone a bit too hard.

Please not what I'm thinking. Not what I'm...

"Your dad and I are coming back home tomorrow. Make sure you come to the airport at 7 to pick us up. When I get home you'll explain to me fully what you are thinking sleeping with the maid." There is disapproval dripping from her voice and I grip the phone harder while trying to control my anger.

"I'm not sleeping..." and she hangs up.

Gosh! I almost throw my phone at the wall. She knows that I hate it whenever she hangs up on me like that.

I don't care who my parents think I should be with but one thing I'm sure of is that I'm not sacrificing my love for the sake of the family business like I have been doing my whole life. I won't let my mom decide who I have to spend the rest of my life with like she has been making other decisions for me. I'm not leaving Sasha, not for Cassie or any other person.

I woke up late this morning due to my sleeping last night.

Last night.

I smile when I remember how much I enjoyed my date with Jace last night, he showered me with love and attention till I burst out crying in the small and not too expensive but nice restaurant he took me to. He was worried thinking that he messed up the date until I tell him that I was crying because I was really happy.

I brush my teeth and had a quick shower before leaving my room, I start walking straight to the kitchen to start cooking. My mouth hung open in surprise when I see Ashley already cooking in the kitchen with an apron tied around her waist.

Ash is cooking? As in really cooking?

She gives me a small smile when she spots me standing at the entrance of the kitchen.

"Are you surprised to see me cooking?"

"H-hmm...y-yes," I ask still finding it hard to believe.

"Don't be surprised. I had to do the cooking when I saw that you were still sleeping and I didn't want to bother you knowing that you had a long day yesterday." She winks at me and I blush red while remembering how Jace had confessed his love for me in my room and how he had repeated it many times yesterday. It still feels surreal.

"They will soon be back so I have to round up the cooking before they are here."

I almost didn't hear what she said last but thank God I did.

"Are we expecting someone?"

"You don't know?" Ash asks while stirring what she is cooking with total concentration.

"My parents are coming back from France today, Jace went to the airport to pick them up."

I felt so dizzy immediately that I had to hold the kitchen island for support while what Ash just told me to keep on repeating in my mind. I bite my nails anxiously while pacing around the kitchen.

"Are you okay?" Ash asks in concern and I nodded yes.

Nothing could have prepared me for the sound of the car horn I heard next.
