have been avoiding Ashley and Cassie as much as I can since what happened yesterday. To make matters worse, Cassie and I have a lot of classes together, and the kind of glares she has been giving me? Holy moly, they are the kind of glares that makes you want to beg the ground to just open up and swallow you.

Now I'm so hungry and I can't even go to the cafeteria to eat, she will surely be there. My phone starts to ring, it's an unknown number but I pick it up anyways.

"Hello."

"Princess." A deep voice breathes into the phone, my eyes widen and I almost jump up in relief.

"Who is that?" Claire mouths at me.

"Jace," I whisper to her. "Hmm, Jace?"

"I'm in front of your school." He says immediately.

"What?! What are you doing here?" I ask in surprise.

"You better meet me here in the next five minutes or I will come into the school and carry you over my shoulders." I hear him say with a small laugh but I know that he is dead serious.

"Okay." I hang up and look at Claire. "Are you hungry?"

"Yes!" She giggles and grabs her bag.

"You better follow me then."

I walk to the front of the school with Claire and search for his car among the other cars in the parking spot for visitors. We didn't have to search for long because he stands out among every other person at the school parking lot, he isn't wearing his business attire today but instead, he is wearing a casual white shirt with well fitted black trousers and there is also a red headphone around his neck. He is engrossed in typing away on his phone while leaning against a red sports car, I don't think I have seen him drive it before.

"Wow." Claire opens and closes her mouth like a fish.

He looks so handsome standing there and waiting for me, I look around and see that he has managed to catch almost everyone's attention especially now that it's break time. I don't like the looks these girls are giving him, they look like they are going to jump on him any moment from now. They are ogling at him like he is a piece of candy.

"Common, let's go," I tell Claire and drag her along with me since it seems like her legs have stopped functioning.

Jace raises his head from his phone and he smiles widely when his eyes meet mine, his dimples are now showing clearly. Our eyes lock on each other as I make my way towards him with Claire right beside me.

All of a sudden, I see Cassie come out of nowhere, walk up to him and hug him. "I knew that you would come back for me." And she gives him a peck on the lips.

"Aww," the students who are starting to form a circle around them say in adoration.

"I was wondering who he was waiting for, I should have guessed that it is Cassie. She.." I hear a student close to me saying.

My mouth drops open in shock, I'm sure Claire looks as shocked as I look right now. My legs feel heavy and I stay rooted to my spot while Claire also stops beside me.

Jace disengaged from Cassie, wipes his lips in disgust, and pushes her out of his way as gently as he can. "I am not here for you." And he starts making his way towards me.

The students open their mouths in shock as they clear the way for him and they all look on tensely to see who he's here for.

He stops when he gets to where I am and grabs my arm.

"I asked you to wait for me this morning but you sneaked out of the house before I could come down the stairs." He whispers into my ear so that only I can hear.

"J-Jace... let's just get out of here." I look around nervously, I don't like the attention everyone is giving us.

Cassie runs away from the scene in embarrassment, students speak in a hushed tone as they look between Jace and me while some are focused on making jest of Cassie.

I introduce Jace and Claire to each other and Jace leads his way to his car while we both trail behind him silently. I see Claire giggling at herself quietly, she is so going to tease me about this later.

Jace opens the door to the backseat for Claire, she thanks him and enters in excitement. I open the to the passenger seat and I'm about to go in also when he closes the door and pins me against the car.

"W-what are you..."

He wraps his hand around my waist and places his lips on mine.

Not what I'm thinking Jace, we are in front of the whole school.

The jerk smirks as if he knows exactly what I'm thinking and kissed me.

Bryan grips his steering wheel harder as he watches 'the rich arrogant boy' as he always calls Jace kissing Sasha in front of the whole school. He came to the school to watch her again like he always does every day and he has been contemplating whether he should go and introduce himself to her as the guy who gave her an umbrella that day or he should just stay in the car and watch her like always does when he saw Jace and the scene he created in front of the school.

"The sooner she and everyone else realizes that she belongs to me, the better." He said coldly and burst out laughing like a maniac.

Jace took us to a classy restaurant where we ate to our fill and chat away happily, we also had some ice cream on our way back to school.

When we got back to school, Claire and I rushed to pick up our books before running to our next class. I tell myself not to look in Cassie's direction but I eventually did, her eyes are red like she has been crying and I feel a little guilty. Our eyes met and this time there is venom and hatred in her eyes, I feel goosebumps spread all over my body and I quickly look away.

I just showered and I am preparing to sleep when I hear a knock on the door, I pray heartily that it isn't Ash, I have been seriously avoiding her and that's because I don't know what she is going to say about my relationship with her brother.

I open the door just to see Jace standing there with a wide smile on his lips.

"What are you doing here Jace?" I ask but he ignores him, enters my room, and invites himself to my bed.

"Oh.." He groans while stretching on the bed. "This bed feels like heaven."

"Jace...no," I say firmly. Okay, maybe not as firm as I wanted.

"No to what?" He asks innocently. I roll my eyes at him, I'm sure he knows what I'm talking about.

"I know what you're thinking and it is a no," I tell him while sitting on the bed.

"What am I thinking princess?" He drawls while wrapping his hand around my waist.

"You are not sleeping in my room."

He pouts sadly. "Really?"

I refuse to let his puppy dog eyes get to me this time. "Really."

Jace pushes me on the bed and pins my hand above my head, he leans closer to me and I wet my lips in anticipation. He has this evil glint in his eyes and I narrow my eyes at him in suspicion, he started tickling me in my armpits all of a sudden.

I burst into uncontrollable laughter. "S-stop Jace. Please."

My stomach is paining me but the laughter keeps on rolling out of my lips uncontrollably.

"Will you let me sleep in your room then?"

"N-no." If he sleeps in my room, we will not sleep until he kisses the hell out of my lips and sucks every inch of my neck and shoulders till they are full of a hickey.

"Are you sure?" He asks while tickling other sensitive parts of my body.

"Okay fine! You can sleep in my room." I scream while laughing hysterically when I couldn't take it anymore.

He released me and gives me a peck on the lips while grinning from ear to ear.
