The moon's light bore through the single window in your home, lighting your empty corpse. Your body laid lifeless on the floor, color nonexistent from your [s/c] skin. The smell of death was starting to grow more and more prominent throughout the room.

Rin sat by your body, tears continously falling from her eyes. She hadn't moved since your passing. Her heart's pain acted as chains that bounded her to your side.

She tried calling for help, but no one could hear her. She tried going outside but someone had lock the doors. She tried everything to get you some sort of assistance but nothing was working. It was as if there was a barrier surrounding your home.

Rin began to shake, desperately trying to ease her nervousness. The mixture of silence, death, and darkness around her was not an ideal situation, especially for a tiny eight year old. She would have to wait until the morning for help. So until then, she decided to go sleep.

She laid down on the floor, facing your dead body. Rin lets out another wave of tears before eventually sobbing herself to sleep. Perhaps her dreams would save her from the situation she was in.

Earlier

After intense games of tag and hide and seek, Rin plopped onto the floor. The rest of the children were beginning to head back into the village. Playtime was coming to an end and Rin couldn't help but feel a bit sad. It was the first time in ages that she had played with other kids.

[Y/n] runs towards Rin, giggling at the girl's messy exterior. She had leaves in her hair and dirt marks all over her. "Rin, did you have fun today?" [Y/n] asks, taking the hem of her kimono to wipe off Rin's dirt.

"Yeah!" Rin replies. Her face being squished by [Y/n]'s clothing.

"I'm glad," She says, beaming with a gorgeous smile. She didn't know why, but she felt as though Rin was very dear to her. Her presence was oddly reassuraning and comforting.

"Rin, do you have a family?"

"..."

"If you don't," [Y/n] begins, shifting her eyes from Rin to the sky's blue abyss,"then I'd like to make you apart of my family. We could have fun days like these everyday."

"I don't know, [Y/n]-san," Rin replies," I would like to be with you but my friends, I can't leave my friends!"

The idea of living with [Y/n] and playing everyday seemed like a dream but Rin couldn't bring herself to abandon her friends. They saved her life and always protected her.

"Your friends can be apart of our family too, Rin-chan. Come spend the night at my home and we will get them tomorrow."

"Really, [Y/n]-san? Really, really?" Rin asked, her voice raising from excitement. She could just image becoming a family with her friends and [Y/n].

"Of course, dear. Now come, we have to go home"

"What is this meaning of this, Rin?" A deep, cold voice boomed. Two demons glared down onto Rin's sleeping figure, annoyed that she had wondered off from the place they had originally left her. One had long, white hair with golden eyes and the other was a short frog.

Rin slowly opens her eyes, awakening from the sudden noises. She groans, stretching her body as she sits up. The moon was still high in the sky, and not much time had passed since she fell asleep. You still laid lifeless, your hair messily covering her face.

"Lord Sesshomaru," Rin begs, covering her face as tears rise back into her brown eyes, "Please save [Y/n]-san! She's my new family."

"Who is this woman, Rin?" the demon with white hair questions, confused. He looked down at the dead body and felt as though he recognized it. Your scent was strangely familar.

"It's [Y/n]-san. She wanted to make a family with you, me, and Jaken! You have to save her, Lord Sesshomaru! So we can all be together!"

"A family? [Y/n]?" Sesshomaru questions, observing your features. He leans down next to your lifeless body and brushes your [h/c] hair out of your face, his eyes widen in disbelief.

Sesshomaru instantly takes out his sword, Tenseiga, and cuts threw the Underworld monsters festering on your body. He averts his eyes from you, growling. He knew who you were. He absolutely knew who you were and he had no intention of reviving you without a heavy price.

"Jaken, get A-un. We must to take this woman with us immediately," he says to Jaken, the little frog demon.

Rin's tears come to a halt and she let's out a sigh of relief. She had the idea of having Lord Sesshomaru revive you but she felt as though he wouldn't. He did hate humans afterall. Perhaps Sesshomaru knew you?

Sesshomaru grabs your unconscious body and throws you over his shoulder. His blood boiled from the smell of your scent, horrible memories coming to his mind. He finally had the chance to get revenge.

Rin and Jaken walk to the exit of your home and clinic, the doors busted from Sesshomaru. He couldn't figure out how to unlock the doors, so he decided to just destroy them. Not like he really cared about human homes anyways.

"So we meet again, human," Sesshomaru whispers to you as he follows behind Rin and Jaken. His claws dig into your skin and you moan from the pain. But he doesn't care. He finally had his hands on you and he was going to make your life a living hell.
