Looking down at my beautiful girl, who was sound asleep comfortably in my arms, a smile broke out on my face. Strands of black hair covered her face as I crept my hand to brush it away, careful not to wake her up. Breathing softly against my chest, my heart filled with happiness that the woman I will love forever is finally in my arms. I have waited years to find her and it is still very surreal that she is here with me.

It's been about three days since our little date up in the clouds and have spent every spare moment together. Little by little, I want Ana to be able to completely trust me as I do her. She has been wronged many times by people she thought she could trust. I want her to be able to realize that I will not betray her trust.

The movement caused me to break out of my thoughts as Ana woke up from her sleep. Rubbing her eyes, she looked up to me with her stunning blue eyes with curiosity.

Moving her head up, she asked me, "Ari, why are you still awake?"

"No reason, amare, just thinking," I replied to her.

"Something I can help you with?"

My sweet girl.

"No, it's alright, just random stuff," I said.

Nodding, Ana put her head back into my chest as she wrapped her hands around me. Putting my head on top of hers, I softly rocked her back and forth until she fell asleep once again. Ana has been tired a lot lately due to the fact that she has started to train while I'm busy with my duties to the kingdom. Closing my eyes, I willed myself to sleep as I waited for the darkness to take over.

The next morning, I woke up before Analise as I peppered her face with kisses to wake her up. Once she woke up, I moved to make me on top and she sprawled out underneath me.

"Ari," she giggled.

Fuck me.

Ana found this habit to call me Ari over the past few days, and it has been the best thing that came out of her mouth. Now I have to fight the urge to push her against the nearest surface and fuck her whenever she calls me that.

"What, mate, can't handle the heat?" I asked her, smirking.

"Oh, baby, I can handle it just fine," she said.

Putting her legs around my torso, she rolled us over so that she could straddle me. Hardening under her, she grinded a little on top of me. Ana let out a small moan before bending a little to brush her lips over mine. Before anything could happen, she quickly got off me and jumped down from the bed.

"You should take a cold shower, Ari. It will not be that easy for you to spread my legs," she said, blowing me a kiss before leaving the room.

Groaning, I collapsed onto the bed in pain from the teasing my little mate just gave me. After taking that cold shower, I made my way into the palace kitchen to get a quick breakfast. Walking back out, I tagged down Akoni so we could go to our first meeting of the day.

I have known Akoni for ten centuries, taking about 3 for me to trust him. I have spent most of my life trusting only my sister Abia. Knowing the power we contained, many people took advantage of us so we kept to ourselves most of the time. Akoni was 25 and died as a lycan coming to my realm. We had accidentally met when I was securing Eboracucm and I had seen a lot of myself in him. Slowly over the years, I made Akoni my second hand and included him in the prosperity of the dead.

Walking by my side, I asked him, "What do we have to do after today's first meeting?"

"Nothing much, just your daily stuff, and then you have the day off," he answered.

I was heavily surprised since it was almost every blue moon that I had not much to do. Although, when I and Ana mate a lot of my responsibilities will be cut in half since she will be my queen. Being glad that I had a free day to spend with Ana, I walked into the chamber where my advisors were seated.

All rose and bowed down to me before I said "You may be seated."

We spent the next three hours going over new arrivals into the kingdom and looking over transitions for each group. I then quickly teleported to Eboracucm to check on today's herd and finish my daily activities.

It was around three when I got back to the palace and quickly looked around to find Ana. Finding her in her room as she was spending time with both Allegra and Karisa. Not making a sound, I watched her from the door, laughing at something that Allegra said. Smiling at her carefree demeanor, I listened to the melody of her laughter as she soothes my beast.

Finally, she looked up to see me leaning against the door, a bright smile instantly on her face. I loved the way she was just as happy when she saw me as I was. Running to me, she put her hands around my neck and wrapped her legs around me, making me pick her up from the ground.

Planting a sloppy kiss on me she said "Babyyyy, I missed you so much."

Realizing that she was drunk, I put her on the ground and held onto her, so she stayed upright.

"I missed you too, amare," I replied.

"Not as much as I did. Did you know I used my finger to come after this morning," Ana said.

My eyes darkened as my beast went crazy in my head.

I asked "Really?"

"Uh-huh," she said, nodding quickly.

Stumbling to walk back towards the bed, Ana almost fell before I caught her from hitting the ground.

"Ok, let's get you to bed," I said.

Putting my hands underneath her knees, I picked her up bridal style so I could bring her to my room easily.

Leo entered and asked, "What the hell happened here?"

"Looks like the girls indulged in some day drinking," I answered.

He went to his mate before picking her up and leaving the room.

Turning to Allegra, I said, "I'll bring Akoni to you."

"Akoni is the best mate ever," she said.

"Uh uh, Ari is," Ana said from my arms.

"No," Allegra whined.

"Yes" Ana replied.

"NO!"

"YES!"

Rolling my eyes at their banter, I walked back to my room with Ana in my arms. Not exactly the day I had planned for us, but any time with her was everything to me. Once I reached my room, I placed her in the middle of the bed before grabbing the blanket and tucking it under her chin.

"Go to sleep, little mate," I said.

Ana grumbled out something inaudible before quickly passing out. I put a kiss on her forehead before walking out of the room to find Akoni.

"You should go to Allegra. The three girls were a drunk mess when I found them," I said, finding him in the gym.

"Shit, let me go to her now," he said.

We left the gym and for awhile we just walked side by side in silence.

Breaking the silence, I said, "I need to tell her, Akoni."

Stopping as we walked to Ana's room he turned to me knowing what I was talking about, he answered "I've already been telling you that, Arius."

"I just don't want her decisions to be made because of that," I said, moving my fingers through my hair.

"And if you don't tell her, you lose time and the more her anger will grow."

"I know," I said.

"Tell her soon, brother, before it's too late," Akoni said before walking away.

Akoni is right, I'm just denying the inevitable and I'll have to tell Ana soon. One thing I know is that Analise Kade is my everything, and no power in the world will be able to hurt her. If they do, I'll chase them down to the ends of the world and give them the slowest death possible as I bathe in their pain.
