"Ana, Ana" multiple people around me voiced, but all I could concentrate on was the blue-eyed male in front of me. My breath came out short as I started panicking as I thought of the multiple scenarios that could be happening.

How is this possible? He's the same man from my dream.

His eyes twinkled with mischief as he went around me to throw himself on the couch. Something about his presence sends a "bow to me" vibe to all of us. Lounging on the couch, he looked like a dark prince waiting for us all to serve him. Shaking my head, I answered Rissa, saying that I was fine even though I was going crazy in my head. Not believing me, she let it go since we had much bigger problems at hand. Abia walked out from wherever she had disappeared off to right before the man had arrived. Once she laid her eyes on him, she glared at him with her death stare.

"I'm going to kill you, get your fat-ass legs off my 15th-century couch," Abia said angrily.

Removing his legs, he said pouting almost childishly "Well hello to you too, big sister. No hugs and kisses for your little brother."

"Almost an eon old and yet you are still the same childish man you were when you were made, brother," Abia said.

"Wait, Wait, Satan is your brother," Rissa asked astonished.

"Were you not listening to my story, Gaea made both of us."

"Satan, that's what you called me sister," the man said, sarcastically.

Abia just rolled her eyes at him and said, "You are the literal devil."

"What's your name then?" Leo asked, curiously.

"Athanasios Mortem, but you can call me Arius," he said, moving her eyes back towards me.

"Coniunx darling, did you not tell them about me," Arius asked as he walked over to me stroking my face softly then twirling my stray strand of my black hair around his finger.

Leo and Rissa looked confused at his statement, while Adonis and Sin didn't look surprised at all. Must have been the many other things they lied about to me. Moving my attention back to Arius, I was close enough to see the gold specks in his eyes. Instead of answering him, I moved my hand back and slapped him hard. In a second I was pinned against the nearest wall with his tattooed hand around my throat. Looking behind him, I saw the black wings in my dream, uncurled and in full length. The feathers were dark as the smoke, looking almost as deadly as it is.

Moving his head down towards my ear he whispered quietly, making his voice soft but deadly, "I wouldn't do that if I were you, amare. I think I still have to punish you for letting Sinclair over there touch you where only I can."

He moved back, giving me his signature smirk before turning and tucking his wings back but not making them vanish like before. Oh god, why the hell am I so turned on right now? My wolf inside my head has been going crazy since Arius has arrived. She had been yipping and yapping of joy when he put his hands on me.

Breaking out of me my thoughts, Rissa came over to me and asked, "What is he talking about, Nellie?"

Before I could answer, Arius disappeared from all our sights, leaving a cloud of smoke to replace him. He reappeared in front of Sin before throwing him across the room, disappearing and appearing in front of him.

"Arius-" Sin tried to say before Arius started continuously punching him.

All of us started screaming in protest before he put his magic over all of our mouths and froze us in our places. Underneath lay his beast waiting to jump, and I think now is the time for us to see. The three of us were about to witness a little of Arius Mortem's darkness.

Once Arius was bored with throwing punches, he picked Sin up again with ease, throwing him on the other side of the room. Arius flew across the small space between them and put the bloodied Sin against the wall.

"All these years, you must feel like the king of the world. Making all the wolves believe you gained your title with your valor. What kind of fucking bullshit did you spew to make them believe you're some noble hero," Arius said punching him once them putting him back against the wall.

"Befriending me to give you the title of lycan king, then betraying me. And to top it all off, centuries later you touch the one thing that is mine. Oh, and your sister sends her regards."

"Is she yours?" Sin asked hoarsely from his spot on the ground, ignoring Arius's statement about his sister.

"She will be."

Laying one last punch, Arius dropped him on the floor and shifted away from Sin.

Moving his attention towards Adonis he said mockingly, "Ah, of course, the obedient little brother. Want me to pass along a message to your twin? Maybe apologize for abandoning her?"

Adonis, too scared to answer, just shook his head no and focused anywhere but on him. Arius flicked his hands, making his magic disappear from us. The three of us stood still, shocked at what had just happened.

Sin from the ground coughed before saying, "That bitch isn't any sister of ours after she chose that demon spawn."

In all the time I have known Sin, he was kind and understanding towards me. Although he had a few faults, he had never spoken like that. Maybe in all the time I have known him, he had been hiding his true self and today was the day his secrets were all coming out. One by one, as each came out, Sin is losing control of the fake reality he had created for himself. Slowly, I started to rethink my feelings for the lycan king.

Without turning around, Arius said cruelly, "I dare you to say that again, Sinclair. Your sister is an important part of my court and my family. Insult her again and I will burn you alive with no mercy."

And like that, Arius walked towards me and grabbed me by my hand. He looked over to Rissa and Leo and contemplated something in his head as I tried my hardest to get out of his grasp.

With a last wave, Arius said, "A pleasure as always, sister. Maybe next time don't take another six centuries to come and visit me."

A second later we all vanished to come back outside the cave we had once gone in. Once we were there, Arius let go of me and I tripped and fell to the ground. Quickly getting up, I realized along with me he also had taken both Rissa and Leo.

Rissa looked over to me and asked, "What the hell is going on, Nellie?"

"Why are you asking me? How the fuck am I supposed to know?"

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because this guy over here," she said pointing to Arius, "said that you knew him."

The blush quickly crept up my neck to my cheeks, heating me up. Arius looked at me and smirked at my reaction.

I answered back, "I don't know what's going on, I didn't even know his name until today."

Leo looked at me suspiciously and asked, "Why are you blushing?"

"Probably because she has been having sex dreams about me for the past week," Arius answered for me as he pinched my cheek.

He moved his head down to my ear and said seductively, "Why don't we make dreams a reality, amare."

"Shut up," I said, swatting his hands away and blushing even harder.

Rissa and Leo quietly looked at our exchange before Rissa asked, "Sex dreams and you didn't even tell me. You know what, I can't even complain, I wouldn't want anyone near him if he was mine. I mean, he is hot as hell."

I growled at her for her comment, angered somehow at her complementing Arius.

Ignoring me, Leo just looked at her and said, "Hello over here, your mate."

Rissa looked at him and said lovingly, "Don't worry Leo, I still love you, just doesn't mean I don't have eyes and appreciate one's beauty."

Arius said nothing and just smirked at Rissa's comment as my anger rose higher. My wolf was getting possessive over the male next to me.

Trying to calm down, I asked, "Why are we out here?"

"Oh, you are coming with me back home," Arius said with finality.

"Yeah no, I'm not. Can you just stop your smoke so we can all go back to our normal lives?" I said, arguing.

"The smoke will not stop until you come back to your home."

"My home is the Midnight pack, not wherever the hell you live."

"It isn't your home anymore, coniunx. If you want to learn more about the smoke and my true intentions, I advise you to come with me," Arius said.

"That's not happening, you can just tell us here," I said.

Arius moved me back against the tree, burning his face close to mine. From our closeness, I could smell his minty breath and his spicy cologne. He brought his mouth down to my neck and nipped at my sweet spot, making my wolf go crazy. Putting kisses on my neck, I involuntarily moaned at the pleasure he was giving me. He dragged his mouth back to my ear and whispered, "It's adorable you think that you have a choice in the matter"

With a snap of his finger, everything went dark.
