The next morning I woke up to my bedroom door shaking due to whoever was banging on it.

"Wake the fuck up Nellie, there are only so many hours in a day. We have to find you a gown by tomorrow" Rissa said as she kept banging my door.

Brining my pillow to my ear I screamed at her "Ok. Ok. I'm awake, stop banging."

Once she stopped hitting I groggily got up from bed to get dressed for the day. Wearing a cozy outfit and going with some light makeup I walked to the common room to meet Rissa.

"We're already late because of you, Nellie. We have to go to the dining hall since we are having a group brunch today."

"Why?" I asked her as we walked towards the dining hall.

"I think we are just catching up on how far Sin is on translating the book. After we can go downtown for your gown."

Walking into the dining hall we split to go to our seats. The table was filled with assortments of fruits, pastries, and other breakfast foods. Smelling the mouthwatering food my stomach rumbled as I took a seat next to Sinclair. Grabbing food I started to eat quickly moaning at the taste. I looked over to Sin under my eyelashes who was amused at my actions.

Finishing my bite "What have you never seen a girl eat?" I asked.

"No I have seen a girl eat," he said then bringing his mouth to my ear.

Shivering at the tingle that sent through my body he continued "Although I have never seen a girl moan like you. I wonder what you would sound like after I have ravished you in my bed throughout the night."

Quickly bringing my face away from his I blushed madly at his comment. Sin had been ignoring me after the attack even though he said that we would try to be friends. Looking around us everyone was too engrossed in their own conversations to listen in ours.

I turned back to him after composing myself and said "You don't get to do that after you have been avoiding me. The entire time I have been at the royal pack you have been so hot and cold with me. One second you want to get to know each other and second, you can't stand the sight of me."

Sinclair looked at me thoughtfully and finally said "You're right. I'm not the easiest person to get along with but I hope you will take a chance with me tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" I questioned.

"I heard you are going to town with Karisa to find a dress for the ball. I was hoping you would accompany me tomorrow night to the ball."

"Like a date?"

"Like a date. Let this be a trial run for me to earn your forgiveness. So Ana will you give me one more chance?" Sin asked me with his charming smile.

"One more chance so don't fuck it up," I said.

"Oh don't worry I won't fuck it up but I may or may not fuck you."

Blushing once more at his crude comment I finished the rest of brunch chatting with everyone about the book.

"How far are you in translating the book" Darius asked Sin.

Before answering both Sin and Adonis shared a look. Weird.

"I am about half way through. All I learned so far is the back story of the prophet and how she doesn't do anything for free. When we go looking for her we should expect the same to be waiting for us. I will try to finish translating the book after the ball to find her location" Sin said to the group.

"After we find the location a group of us should go to find the prophet, Abia" Adonis replied.

"That is an issue for once we find out wherever the hell Abia is hiding" Leo said.

Everyone agreeing with Leo we continued our brunch with common chit-chat. Once we finished eating our food Rissa got up from her chair to drag me towards to go gown shopping.

"Well this has been fun boys but Nellie and I have to go find a gown by tomorrow" she said.

Continuing to drag me out the door I heard Aiden whisper "Who the hell is Nellie?"

"It's Karisa's nickname for Ana, dumbass keep up," Xavier said, flicking Aiden on the head.

Before I could continue listening in on their conversation Rissa and I were out the door. Leave it to Xavier and Aiden to fight over the most random things. The three of us have not gotten to hang out as much ever since we got to the royal pack due to all of us being busy. After all of this is over I want to spend more time with them. Although not all bad things have come from this trip, for example, Sin and Rissa. We made our way downtown to Rissa's favorite shop to buy gowns, Enroyal. Hearing the ding of the bell as we opened the door, a woman met us at the front of the desk. For being in the middle of nowhere the inside of the shop had gowns displayed and was decorated to be very pleasing on the eye.

"Karisa, darling haven't you already bought a dress," the woman asked.

"I have but she hasn't," Rissa said pointing to me.

"So I need you to work your magic Quinn, and make her look like a princess."

"Darling have you met me. This girl will look like the Luna queen once I am done with her."

Bringing us to the back of the store, the woman, Quinn said "Take off your shoes and stand on this podium so I can take your measurements."

Following her instructions, I stood on the podium for her to measure my hips, chest, and arms. It took Quinn about half an hour to measure my body and then another to find dresses fit to my body type that doesn't need an alteration. Quinn's assistant brought us to the changing rooms where Rissa could sit outside in a seating area in front of the changing room. Quinn brought tons of gowns and hung them inside the large room for me to change into.

I went into the changing room to put on the first ball gown which was a sleeveless pale pink dress with a flowery pattern at the end of it. Looking at the mirror after putting the gown on I could already tell this was not going to be the winner. Walking out of the changing room my confidence in my own opinion grew judging by Rissa's face.

"I mean the gown is beautiful, it's just not you," she said.

Agreeing with her I went back into the changing room to put on the second gown put before me. This dress was a tan dress with one flower sleeve on my shoulder growing in the number of flowers as you go down the dress. Better than the first one it was still too girly for my taste. Once again walking out of the dressing room I looked at Rissa's reaction to the dress.

"Yeah put this in the no fucking way pile. You literally look like the princess of unicorns wearing that dress. I mean your fucking Analise Kade, the female beta of Midnight. Your dress should be something pretty and badass like you."

Going back into the changing room I browsed through the dresses Quinn's team picked for me. Trying on countless dresses every time rejected by Rissa for different reasons took us about two hours before a dress caught my eye. Hiding underneath the tons of ballgown picked for me was a red ball gown, simple but beautiful. The top half of the dress hugged me before flowing around the rest of my body. I looked at myself in the mirror and instantly fell in love with it. For the millionth time, I walked out to show Rissa who was in awe of my dress.

"Fucking finally, you look drop-dead gorgeous in that dress."

Twirling around I said to Rissa "I feel like a princess but at the same time like a hidden assassin about to pounce."

"Like I said, perfect for you. You have to get that dress, Nellie" she said.

Smiling I turned to look at the dress once again in the mirror outside the dressing room. Loving the dress I decided to buy it for the ball tomorrow. Feeling giddy, tomorrow couldn't come faster.
