As the morning sunlight trickled down through the windows, Anu gently opened her eyes. As per her memories sleeping in the car was the last thing she did. However, she is now in Dev's arms. She quietly got out of bed without disturbing him. She was looking out the balcony after doing her morning chores. Anu was taking in the scenery. Although they were in Beijing, their hotel was away from the city centre. Dev set his alarm early as it was the first day of the conference. For a moment, Dev was stunned by the sight he beheld. Anu sat in a hammock chair, lazily swinging in the breeze. Her jet-black tresses were fluttering in the wind. She was in embroidered full-length white cotton pyjamas. She appeared to be an Angel as she sat. Her beauty had mesmerized him.

Anu sensed someone staring at her and turned around to see Dev staring back.

"Are you awake?" Dev asked to clear the awkwardness.

"I hope you slept well?" he added.

She laughed and said, "Yes, I did."

"Anu, place an order for breakfast. Let me get ready," saying that he entered the bathroom.

When Dev came out from the bathroom, Anu was busy ordering over the intercom. He was perplexed by Anu's method of adding items one by one. Unlike other girls, Anu never pretends. She is a perfect foodie. When it comes to trying different cuisine, she'll be excited. "I know nothing about her," Dev thought to himself.

Dev headed to his conference after eating breakfast. But before he left, he gave Anu some strict instructions and retained a police officer and a security guard for her safety. Dev was hesitant to leave her alone in the hotel room, but bringing her with him felt risky as well.
