Winter stood side by side with king Roderick as they looked out over the graveyard that lay next to the castle. All victims from the war about the throne change lay buried next to king Reginald, reminding everyone the heavy cost.

They were silent as their eyes moved over the many tombstones.

"It still weighs heavy." the king finally said.

"It does." Winter answered.

"How is Roselyn?" she asked.

"She has handled this all a lot better than me." Roderick smiled.

"She has helped me a lot, grounded me, kept me sane. Just like you." he added.

"You have found someone?" Winter asked.

"Yes, well not my mate, since you know the curse." The king replied.

"But someone who wants to help me through all this. Roselyn has met her already. I would appreciate your opinion on her as well." he said.

Winter nodded her head. The king was silent for a second.

"It pains me to see that still so many people detest me because of my brother's actions. It weighs heavy on my shoulders." the king sighed.

Winter looked up at the king.

"He caused a lot of pain, give them time to heal. You are doing a lot of good things for your people, keep that going and they will forget eventually. You have to be patient." Winter smiled softly.

"How are you?" The king asked.

"Fine." Winter replied.

"Sure?" the king looked at her.

"Tired." she smiled.

"It's a lot." she answered.

He looked at her.

"But we are getting somewhere so it's worth it." she smiled.

"Do you need me for anything else?" Winter asked.

The king nodded his head in denial.

"Let me know when I can meet her." she hugged him.

"See you at the council meeting." she smiled.

"Winter, thank you." the king added.

She smirked.

"For?"

"For saving me, for helping me, keeping your word. The risk you took with your pack to help me." the king added.

"I didn't have much of a choice, now, did I?" she smiled.

"But I am glad that I could help you."

The moment Winter crossed her pack territory a smile formed on her lips.

'You are home'

A voice immediately popped in her head.

'I am.' Winter's wolf smirked.

'I missed you.'

'Arsen, I have been gone for a couple of hours.' Winter smirked.

'Where are you?' she asked.

'My office.'

Winter grinned. She pushed her wolf harder as the compound came into view. Winter didn't bother to change she rushed in the compound in her wolf form. She pushed the office doors open and stood face to face with Arsen.

As she changed back his eyes roamed hungry over her body. Before she could say something Arsen pulled her closer, crashing his lips against hers. Seconds later Winter lay on top of Arsen's desk as his hands roamed over her body.

Winter ripped Arsen shirt to pieces as her hands traced over his chest.

"You have been gone far too long." he whispered huskily.

"You're all talk and no action." Winter smirked as her hands fiddled with his belt.

Right in that moment Arsen's office door opened. A possessive roar followed and he immediately pushed Winter behind his body, shielding her. Blade walked in carrying a huge smirk.

"Mommy, mommy you are finally back!"

From behind Blade laughter came. Winter smiled. Arsen growled and handed Winter his sweater as three little kids stormed forward.

Fenn and Falcon immediately rushed over towards their mother. The boys wrapped around her legs and she smiled as she bent down to kiss them. They were the spitting image of their father, already charming every she-wolf that crossed their path.

Fallon rushed over to her father, she smiled sweetly at him and was immediately tossed in the air. Arsen looked lovingly at his daughter, the spitting image of his wife.

Blade stood smirking as he looked at the happy family in front of him.

"Wipe that smirk of your face." Arsen said stern.

"Can't I be happy that my alphas are happy?" he grinned.

"I would have been even more happy if you waited for half an hour longer." Arsen answered.

"I didn't know what was happening." Blade played innocently.

"Seriously, did you lose your wolf hearing by any chance?" Arsen replied.

"No simply preventing that I have to babysit more of those Storm-Whitefortis monsters." he grinned.

The three children pointed their attention back to Blade. They all staired evilly at him.

"I think you are going to regret those words." Winter smiled.

"I can see that mistake now." Blade said as he carefully took a step back.

Two black wolves flew through the air and started to chase Blade, a beautiful white wolf quickly followed.

Arsen looked proudly as they left the room.

"They are beautiful." he whispered.

"They are." Winter replied.

"So are you." he softly kissed her again.

"Let's hope Blade survives." Winter said, Arsen grinned.

"Don't be too hard on him."

"He is the one that called our children monsters, he is lucky to be alive." Arsen replied.

"He is just moping because he isn't the godfather." Winter smirked.

"How about we change that. We broke the curse, I am not stopping at three" Arsen smirked.

He grabbed Winter's legs and pushed her back on the desk.

"No where were we? Right, I was about to let you scream my name." He kissed her hard and possessively showing with every fiber that she was his and he was hers.

'I love you.'

Arsen's voice popped in her head.

'I love you too.' Winter replied.

"Until the end of times." Arsen whispered.
