《The Whitefortis Alpha, Rewriting the rules.》Chapter 8 - A majestic wolf

It was the night of the third fight and Winter felt more alive than ever. Her wolf was howling and pacing inside her head she knew that tonight finally she could let out some steam.
The previous fight against Big Bill had been entertaining, but she was able to let her wolf stay hidden. He had been stronger than Vinnie but it still wasn't much of a challenge.
She was waiting behind the curtains ready to fight again, to show the crowd her wolf. Jack approached her.
"You were so right."
"Off course I was, but you need to specify about which part." Winter replied.
"The bets, we will gain a lot of money tonight honey." He screamed in her ear.
She snickered at the man in front of her.
"You're welcome." She responded.
"Big Franky, are you ready for him tonight?" Jack asked.
"I need to know Winter, because if you aren't I will cancel this fight in a heartbeat. I won't risk you."
"Give me a hug before I drag you in the pit with me." She said with a smile.
"Please don't go after this fight, Winter." Jack said as he searched her eyes.
"It would crush Luke and me. We became quite fond of you in the past couple of weeks."
"How about I'll win this fight first." She answered with a smile.
"And in our right corner the lady we are all dreaming about at night.
The lady we all dream to dive or canines in to make her ours.
The lady we all want to moan our name.
Give it up for Hope." Enrique yelled.
Winter stepped into the ring as the crowd went wild, the place was packed, all seats were taken and a lot of people were standing around the ring. Winter blew a kiss inside the arena and took her place.
"Tonight, our rising star will take it up against not the least, a legacy, a legend amongst rogues. Give it up for Big Franky."
There was applause, but it wasn't as exuberant as the one for Winter. She snickered as she saw that Franky noticed it too.
"Don't think you have won yet." He mouthed.
"I wouldn't dream of it." Winter answered.
"I can hear we have a clear favorite here."
Enrique yelled again and whistles filled the arena. The camera focused on Winter and she pulled her bottom lip between her teeth. Howls pierced through the arena and Franky shook his head. A smile cracked on Winter's face she was already reeling him up.
"The rules Lady and Gentleman. Fight, shift or bite. Please Hope we are all dying to see your wolf." Enrique smiled.
"You know the rest of the rules. Ready, Set, Fight." Enrique yelled.
Winter cracked her neck and her wolf was high on alert, ready to move forward whenever she was needed.
'Tonight, is your night, Girl.' Winter said.
Big Franky was quicker on his feet than her previous opponents. He was nothing compared to her brothers or Charlie she thought. She quickly pushed that memory back and focused on the fight. They moved through the pit.

Winter shielded her body and her face. She wanted to receive as less damage as possible. Franky threw in the first punch, not having the patience to wait for her to do so. She blocked the punches but still felt the impact. Her body relaxed, one step closer to a fight worth my time, she thought.
Winter ducked and handed him two swift punches in the ribs. Putting more force into them as the previous fights. Franky managed to hit her against her head, she felt how her eyebrow split. If her brothers would be here to watch, she wouldn't hear the end of it.
But that was the point of taking the punch, fueling herself and pushing herself twice as far, twice as hard. She responded Franky's hit with a combination of kicks and punches that drove him into a corner.
She could see in his eyes that he felt trapped, he hadn't the upper hand in this fight. This girl, smaller and thin had. He snickered, he had always known she was holding back, even in the fight to prove herself.
He moved forward, trying to surprise her, but she anticipated every move, blocked every kick. And then the crowd gasped, she was able to surprise him and kicked him in the nose.
A crack was heard in the arena and her eyes turned a hint darker, her wolf was ready now at any time. The hit was a blow to his ego and Franky shifted.
Winter waited, attacking in a shift isn't fair she thought it's low and without honor. Franky was surprised that she still stood in the same place he left her. His wolf snarled at her fueled with anger.
The crowd was sitting on the edge of his seat, curious about what Winter would do. Franky's wolf was big and dark Gray. No match for a Whitefortis wolf she smiled at herself.
'How about I give him a kick and then you come out to play?' Winter asked her wolf.
'Yes, yes, yes let me finish him.'
'But no killing, agreed?' Winter felt how her wolf agreed.
Franky's wolf charged full speed at her, Winter did a step aside and grabbed his big body. Before he could register what was happening, he flew through the pit and landed on the other side of the arena.
The crowd gasped at her strength and then the crowd gasped again.
Within seconds Winter had changed into a majestic wolf. She didn't realize it then, but she had become bigger and whiter. Her fur was almost as white as snow.
More howls filled the arena. As Franky scrambled back up her wolf charged in full force. Knocking him down again.
'Give him time. Do you want this to be over in 2 seconds.' Winter told her wolf.
She watched as Franky got up again, she could see that his wolf was afraid of her and her strength. She barred her teeth, his eyes flickered over her teeth.
She did a step forward, trying to provoke him, challenge him. He circled her from the side trying to grab her collar but Winter's wolf was way quicker.
First she aimed for his back legs, stopping the circling, pushing him back in the corner. He was desperate he couldn't move without her attacking and he knew. So, he saw only one way through and tried to aim for her neck.

Winter had anticipated his every move, she had him by the collar in seconds. Knowing exactly what she wanted next she had him wrestled down a couple of seconds later. She pushed his head on the ground, holding him tight in place.
She howled in the air and the cheering from the crowd started again. Franky shifted back into his human form and surrendered. Her name was shouted all through the arena as the fight was declared over, she walked out with a smile on her face.
Luke was waiting for her behind the curtains with a robe.
"You were majestic." He said.
Winter's wolf nudged her head and he turned around as she shifted back.
"Your wolf is as impressive as you." He said as Winter closed the robe.
He looked at her eyebrow.
"We need to take a look at that." He said pointing at the wound.
"I am a wolf, by tomorrow it's gone." She answered with a smile.
"I want to check on Franky." She said.
"I hope I didn't wound his ego too much."
Luke nodded his head and escorted her back to the fight room. The place turned silent as she walked in, Winter didn't feel at ease at all as all the eyes of the fighters were up on here. Until Franky stood up and walked up to her.
"Fuck your wolf is majestic."
They all started to laugh and she hugged him tight.
"Thanks for fighting with respect. Not many roughs would do that." He said with a smile.
"Join us for a drink Winter, you have deserved it." Franky said with a smile.
"I am going to grab a shower first." She answered.
As Winter walked out into the room all the guys would be in, she could immediately feel that something was wrong. She heard Jack and someone else argue, as she listened, she could hear that all the guys were still there, even Luke.
And there were six other wolves that she couldn't place there.
"You are behind with payments Jacky-boy." A man said.
"I know, but tonight is making up for all that." She heard Jack answer.
"You know that this building belongs to me. I think it's time for me to take back what is mine and, in the process, claim this land." The man said.
Winter could hear that the boys were in trouble.
"You can't do that, this land is ours. We live here." Luke said.
"Because I let you, don't forget your place rogue. This isn't pack territory so we claim it." The man snarled.
"Actually, this is pack territory, we are a pack." Jack answered stern.
The man laughed loud.
"Is that true Jacky-boy, and then who is your alpha? Don't tell me it's you. I would die laughing, knowing you would lead a pack. You can't even lead a business." The man responded.
She felt how Jack felt offended by that command, how he was on the brink of attacking the man.
"I am the alpha" he snarled.
"Well let's test that theory." The man answered.
Winter felt his alpha vibes, but she wasn't impressed.
"Bow down for a real alpha." He said.
She rounded the corner and saw in horror how all the guys started to move towards the ground.
'We need to do something.' Her wolf said quickly.
'We'll show them who's boss.' Winter replied.
Her alpha vibes filled the room.
"My pack will not bow down for you." She said loud and clear.
And the guys were able to stand back up.
"I am the alpha here, you are on my territory and you are pathetic." She spat.
She stood tall in front of the man, he wasn't big he was even smaller than her.
"Now let's see what you are made off." She hissed.
"Bow down." She snarled.
Not only did all his men bow, but the man himself was forced down by her force. The fighters all approached right by her side.
"You are not an alpha, this isn't a pack." The man hissed.
"Have I said you could talk?" Winter asked.
"No alpha." He whimpered.
"That's a good boy. Now tell me why we aren't a pack. I am dying to know your opinion." She hissed.
Placing her booth on his head.
"Because let me state you the facts; We are a pack of rogues, not as short-sighted as your traditional werewolf pack. We function as one, we have each other's back and if some stupid alpha come's around to show who's boss. I pick up my alpha role with pleasure." She hissed the words down.
"You don't have a pack house or a compound. You don't follow the pack rules." He dared to answer.
"We have a compound way better than this, so consider this our two weeks' notice. We are moving out. We don't live by the pack rules because they are stupid. We live by one rule and one rule only. Our rogue pack before everything else." Winter spat.
"So now that's settled, you take your filthy mutts and move away from our territory. Trespass and offend us again and I will kill you." She said sweet with an ice cold under tone.
Winter lifted her booth off his head and let him and his wolves stand up.
"Anything else to say or not?" she asked and studied him.
He quickly nodded his head.
"Good boy." She tapped his cheek.
"Now off you go." She said as a mother to her child.
The man and his followers took off as quickly as possible.
"With their tale between their legs." Enrique said with a smile.
Winter turned around and was fuming. She had recognized the man from that day in the alley. She grabbed his collar. Immediately the guys all tensed around her, after the power display they weren't sure what to do.
"I thought you said you handled it." She said stern.
"You knew?" Jack picked in.
"They were here a couple of weeks ago." Winter said.
"Guys pack your stuff. If you want to go, we are moving."
Winter said as she let go of Enrique.
"What about me?" he asked.
"You can earn our trust back, but at that moment you aren't welcome." She answered.
She walked out and left all the guys dumbfounded behind.
