Chapter 5

~M

This time when I wake up it's not in the infirmary instead it's in a bed room with a king sized bed that is backed against the wall. The room is painted an off red with three other doors. Also a white rugged floor with badge sheets and a wooden dresser along with a wooden night stand.

There is a large window but it doesn't look like it can be opened at all. Mostly there for decoration.

Through the little white curtains I could see that it is the middle of the night, which made me wonder where-

"Good morning," a voice said from the corner of the room.

My head snaps toward the voice. It's Luke, coming out of one of the doors. He's wearing sweat pants and his hair is wet from a shower. He is shirtless and his abbs are still a little wet.

I couldn't take my eyes off him. I run my eyes over his six pack and wonder how can some one be that fit? Like does he not have enough milkshakes, because that's depressing.

He notices my stare and smirks as he walks across the room to the dresser. "Its only fair if I get to stare back," he says looking up and down my body.

I glance down and noticed I'm wearing different close.

I'm in a silk white top and stops above my belly button, with thin spaghetti straps. My bottoms are silk short-shorts that are white. Might I add that they are really short showing off my legs. My long blonde hair is in a French braid hanging over my shoulder.

I think it's actually beautiful. But how did I into these close? My head snaps up and I growl at Luke.

"Don't worry I didn't dress you," he says and looks down at my legs. "But I thank the goddess that did," he says.

He looks me up and down several more times. Then walks over to me, and I back up against the wall still on the bed. "I wasn't staring," I state and he smiles slightly, amused by my lie. He has a great smile.

"Okay but I am," he says. Then sits on the bed with me. I look at him for a moment replaying what I remember.

"You knocked me out." I state, feeling the slightest pain on my neck.

"You gave me no choice," he says. And my cheeks get flushed with anger

"The only option should have been to let me go. There shouldn't have been a choice," I say and cross my arms.

"I'm not letting you go," he growls and I flinch slightly by how fierce it is. Even though he growled I still felt the butterflies in my stomach at his words.

Damn the bond is getting stronger.

"At least not without an explanation," he mutters. There is silence for a while, neither of us knowing what to say. I look out the window.

"What time is it?" I ask and he shrugs and looks out the window as well. "Probably around 5 am," he says. I slept for a while. Actually that's all I've been doing mostly all day.

"I need to ask you some questions," he says and I eye him carefully.

"What kind of questions?" I ask narrowing my eyes. He sighs "questions about your past," he says.

Lukas

She looks incredible. Just sitting there not knowing what her longs legs are doing to me. I would much rather see them wrapped around my waist.

She has the fullest lips and the best curves. My wolf just wants to take her right know. But I can't.

"Questions about your past," I answer and I see her face drain, all of her spirit tucked away and her sarcasm leave her voice, "there's nothing to tell," she says. But its not like she's sad it's more like she is just serious. She doesn't really seem all that emotionally upset.

The only thing that's different about her from other wolfs is that she doesn't believe in love. Most Rogues have some serious issues and a really bad past. It's always tough for someone's Mate to be a Rogue. But nothing is too off about Sophia, she seems very stable.

"What happened to your pack?" I asked she just slides off the bed and walks around the room. Looking at the pictures on the wall. Then looking at the small jewelry box that my mother wants to give to her.

"Sophia," I say and she looks over at me. Her expression is normal she doesn't look mad or sad or even emotionless. Just normal. "If I tell you will you let me leave?" She asks and I honestly shake my head.

"No." I say, even imagining her leaving makes my chest tighten and pins and needles full my body.

She picks up a necklace that was in the box and messes with it. Her elbows on the dresser and her hip sticking out. It's like she begging me to go over there and take her. Which I will.

She puts the necklace down and sighs. "Did you know the name Sophia means Wisdom is Greek." She asks and I look at her confused.

She continues "it's not even my name. When my mom ran away to America with me she gave it to me." She says and smiles a sad smile.

"My pack lived near several bad packs. They ended up betraying us. I don't really hold a grudge it's just I gave up on trusting people." She says and walks to the window. "When we moved here my mother told me to be wise with what I do and she also told me to be wise with my mate." She walks over to me as I slide to the edge of the bed.

"I am being wise. By running away from you. It's for your own good" she says and looks me dead in the eye. She's serious, she thinks her mom would want her to run away from me. A person who would love her with all my heart and treat her like a goddess.

She thinks it's better to leave me. Does she not know how painful that is going to be. It will be the most heart breaking thing either of us would go through.

She reaches over and kisses my cheek. And then starts to walk away, but I grab her hand stopping her.

There's been a question bugging me for a while and she hasn't answered it. For some reason I need an answer. "Why didn't you hurt Jason?" I ask and she looks at me with those grassy green eyes and smiles.

"I don't hurt others, I defend myself," she states proudly. Then begins to walk away again.

When I honestly believe that she is about to leave, she turns around, "Plus he smelled a little like you. I couldn't resist being with him," she says and I can't handle it anymore.

The thought of never seeing her. It's burns deep inside of me, I hurts to much.

I have to make her stay. I have to convince her that this is where she belongs. I pull her close to me. I gently reach for the side of her neck, my thumb grazing her cheek. And I press my lips to hers.

I expected her to protest but instead she deepened the kiss wrapping her arms around me neck. I pull her body around onto the bed. I licked her lip but she didn't open her mouth. So I run my hand down her leg and squeeze her thigh, making her gasp.

I pushed my tongue in her mouth exploring. I wanted to hold her like this everyday. I wanted to be the man that made her stay. But I can't change who she is, that would change what I love about her.

I move down and kiss her neck leaving a love bits. I moved further down to her shoulder where I could mark her. I lick the spot and she moans, arching her back pressing against me. I growl at the sound of her "Do you really plan to leave me and this?" I ask has her breathing hitched.

She nodded and my wolf howls inside. I kiss her lips roughly. The sparks that fly when we touch are amazing. It's like this hot feeling boiling over in me.

"I can only make you feel this way. No other man can. Remember that," I say.

I kiss her once more then move off of her. She sits up and climbs out of the bed. She slowly gets her bag from on top of the dresser avoiding eye contact with me. She walks over to the door and with ever footstep away from me, a heavier and heavier pressure on my chest. I love her but I can't force her, it will just hurt her.

For what feels like the 100th time she to leave me, then she stops and turns slightly her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. She goes over to the dresser again and picks up the necklace from the jewelry box.

"Whose is this?" She asks staring at the necklace. I get up and walk over to her and look closely at it.

It has the symbol of our pack. It shows a wolf walking away from the moon, when the truth is the wolf is guiding the moon. It's a silver color but not real silver.

"It's my mother. The Luna is supposed to wear it," I answer and she turns her head slight her eyebrows still knitted together. She obviously think about something.

"What's the name of your pack?" She asked. I'm surprised she did not ask before and that no one told her. Well she has been asleep since she got here.

"Moon Guiders," I say with a small smile. "It's kind is cheesy but our name goes way back in history all-"

"All the way to colonial times. When

people tracked to America from Great Britain." She finishes and I nod slowly.

"Yea how did you know that?" I ask and she puts the necklace down and turns to face me.

In her eyes I see excitement, worry, fear, with the slightest sadness. I want to repeat my question but the look in her eyes tells me she can't explain. Only show.

Then she says something I never thought would leave her lips.

"I want to meet your mom."
