《Forced Enemies》Chapter Twenty Nine

"Where are we going?" I asked after coming back from the planes bedroom, changing out of my wedding dress.
"Bala," he answered, his gaze on the window beside him, watching the city lights pass by underneath.
I hummed at the comment, turning my attention to the window as well.
"The mafia is fully ours," he murmured, his eyes fully on me now as I took in his words.
"Oh-" I said quietly, not sure how to feel about the situation.
"Isn't it a little too soon?" I asked, his eyes watching over mine as I spoke.
"No, it's the right time."
I took a deep breath and nodded.
We both sat side by side, for there were workers on the plane, and we still needed to pretend.
That is why Kye's hand is in mine, his skin sending tingles throughout my body.
"How long are we staying for?" I asked.
"A week."
The flight attendant came walking in, and Kye's hand tightened around mine.
"Would you guys like anything to drink?" She asked.
"A water please," I responded.
She turned her attention on Kye, waiting for his reply.
"Rum," he said nicely, thanking her as she nodded and walked off.
We watched as she started to whisper to the other flight attendant, the other guys eyes landing on us as she finished her sentence.
"They're talking," I whispered to Kye, who's attention went to the girl.
"I'm sure it's nothing," he said, but then the girl pointed to our stiff hands connected together.
"Kye," I said harshly and he rolled his eyes.
He grabbed the back of my head and pulled his lips to mine, making me lightly gasp out in surprise.
His mouth moved against mine, slowly slipping his tongue in as he removed his hand from me, replacing it on my thigh.

He pulled back, moving his lips to my ear, slightly brushing against it.
"If you wanted me to kiss you so bad," he whispered, "you could of asked."
I let out a shaky breath when he pulled away, and I immediately smacked him.
"That is not why I was concerned," I said harshly, and he just chuckled.
I let out a huff, turning my head away from him.
But my breath hitched when I felt his hand move on my thigh, his fingers slightly tracing circles on my exposed skin.
And when I looked up to the flight attendants, none of them were in sight, yet Kye still kept his hand on me.
✥ ✥ ✥
The warm breeze hit my skin as we stepped out the plane, Kye's hand on mine as he helped me down the steep steps.
"Welcome Mr and Mrs Santiago," someone greeted us as we stepped off the last step.
"If you will please follow me, I will take you to your suite," he said. "Your bags will be awaiting you."
Kye nodded, taking my hand and following the guy to an SUV.
The drive was silent, and Kye made me sit in the middle, directly next to him.
We reached a large hut, the doors already open as we walked though.
"I'll let you get settled," the man said, closing the door behind him as he left.
I dropped my purse on the coach, and walked over to the windows, the sun rising over the oceans water.
"Beautiful isn't it," Kye said from beside me, watching as a couple walked along the beach.
"Very," I said back, yawning as I turned back to the house.
It was massive.
A large kitchen stood in the corner, along with the living room in the middle.

Two double doors stood on one side, and when I walked through, the bedroom was inside.
"Holy shit," I whispered out, my attention on the king size bed and the large chandelier.
"You should sleep," Kye said from being me, opening up his suit case and throwing me a night gown.
When I looked down, my eyes widened.
A dark red night gown sat in my hands, the same
one from the night before the wedding.
"What?" He smirked, taking off shirt and pants.
I gulped as he was only left in his black boxers, his toned body so visible I could barely breathe.
When he laid on the bed, he put his head to the head board, putting both arms behind his head.
His eyes fully watched me as I stood there, the piece of clothing in my hand.
"Go on," he said. "Put it on."
"Not in front of you," I answered quickly, and he only chuckled.
"The whole place is open, you'll always be changing in front of me."
I sighed, and looked around, the whole place was open.
I shakily pulled off my top, and then my shorts, leaving me in my underwear.
I pulled the night gown over me, and then took off my bra from the inside, dropping it on the chair beside me.
I went to the bed, Kye opening the covers for me.
"That wasn't so bad was it?" He whispered in my ear, and I felt so exposed to him, the clothing very limited.
"Goodnight Kye," I said, turning around so my back was facing him.
"Goodnight Aliyah," I said back, and my breath hitched when his hand slightly touched my back as he turned to face the other way.
I couldn't help but think we haven't slept in the same bed in a week, and I never realized until now, how much I like it.
