Danny's POV
I pace my living room as Stacey and Liv sit on my couch, eating my snacks and watching me. "I mean I think it's the real deal this time," I say, stopping in front of my tv. "I think Bear will propose."
"Well you said that the last time and your man end up fucking your mum," Stacey deadpans.
Liv glares at her. "Well you and Bear have been together four years, Danny," she states. "It's about Damn time he step up."
I giggle and shake my head. The door slams open and Bear walks in holding a bottle of bubbles. Liv and Stacey quickly stand up, at his glare.
"What are you two doing here?" He asks.
"Nice to see you too, Bear," Stacey says, patting his back, as they walk around him to leave the apartment. "See you Danny. Good luck!"
Bear frowns and shuts the door. "Good luck with what?"
"Nothing important," I answer, brushing it off. Bear walks over to me and cups the back of my neck, kissing me.
"Hey," he murmurs against my lips.
"Hi," I whisper back. "You gonna tell me why you have a bottle of bubbles?"
He chuckles and kisses me again. "I have good news," he says.
"Good?"
"I'm officially off parole," Bear says.
"That's amazing," I gush.
He pulls away from me and walks to the kitchen, grabbing two wine glasses and pouring each of us a glass.
I take a sip and hum. Wow that's nice.
"My mums favourite," Bear states.
"Good taste," I comment.
He wraps an arm around me. "Maybe we could go out for dinner?"
I raise an eyebrow at him. "You want to go out?"

"To celebrate," he murmurs.
"Well we could celebrate here," I claim. "Get some takeaway and you can eat it off me."
Bear groans, takes our drinks and puts them on the coffee table and kisses me. His tongues laps mine and I wrap one arm around his neck. "Fuck Daniella, Jay's already got us booked in," he pants.
"He can wait can't he?" I whisper, seductively.
"Oh hell yeah he can," Bear growls. I squeal as he chucks me over his shoulder and takes me to our room.
After some struggle I finally convinced him to let me fully move into his bedroom. It only took me a year.
He chucks me on the bed and kisses up my leg.
Oh yes.
*
"Your late," Jay snaps, as I sit beside him and Bear sits across from me.
"I'm sorry, is this not to celebrate my achievements," Bear deadpans.
"Congratulations Bear," Mac says as she feeds her son, Troy. He's two and absolutely gorgeous. He's the spitting image of his mum.
"Hey Danny," Darren says. "How are you?"
"Good," I answer.
"I heard your joining us in the salon," Darren says. "That's exciting."
Yes, what Darren says is true. I will be doing makeup and nails. Jay had to get rid of his last nail stylist after he caught her trying to steal money.
"I'm really excited," I say.
"Hey guys I'm-" he stops talking and we both look at each other in horror.
"Adrian!?"
Bear was glaring at him. "We want a new waiter."
"Look we can be civil," Adrian says. "It was four years ago."
"I Hope you've learned your lesson," Darren growls.
"That you two are fucked in the head? Yeah I have," Adrian snaps. "I was in hospital for a week with broken ribs."

"On how to treat a fucking lady," Bear snaps. "You had no fucking right to leave Danny at that restaurant."
"I only did that cause you fucking threatened to slit my throat if I hurt her," Adrian says. "I didn't want her, when you obviously were in love with her."
My eyes widen at Bear. "You threatened him?"
Bear shrugs.
"Look I'm sorry for ditching you on the date Danny," Adrian says. "But I don't regret it. I met the love of my life in that hospital."
"I met mine too," i murmur, glancing at Bear. "And I forgive you. You did the wrong thing, but you had the right intentions."
"Thank you," he whispers. "I'll grab you guys a new waiter."
He walks away and Jay grabs my hand. "Very noble of you."
"It was four years ago," I say, agreeing with Adrian. "I'm with Bear now."
"Well he looks good," Jay says, which earns a glare from both Darren and Bear.
We had dinner and said our goodbyes, Bear and I walking down to the beach. I slip off my heels as we start walking along the ocean.
I stop walking and sit down in the sand, Bear sitting beside me. "I can't believe you threatened him four years ago," I whisper. "I mean, it connects the dots, cause he looked liked he shat himself when I came back from getting my purse."
Bear chuckles darkly. "Yeah well i cared about you."
"You love me," I tease.
"I do," he whispers. He leans over and kisses me. "I went and saw your dad yesterday."
"By yourself?" I gasp. "Are you two finally becoming best friends like I always wanted?"
"Sadly no," he says. He stands up and holds out his hand for me. I take it and he pulls me to my feet. "I love you, Danny," he says. "And I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
"Oh god," I whisper, trying not to cry.
IT'S HAPPENING
"So," he says and kneels down on one knee. He grabs a box out of his back pocket and opens it up. "Daniella Moore will you make me the happiest man and marry me?"
"Of course I will!" I cry happily. I give him my left hand and he slides the ring on. He stands up and smashes his lips on mine. "I love you so much," I murmur.
"I love you too," he says.
"Just so you know Stacey thought you were fucking my mum," I joke.
"Ah yes," he chuckles. "Well maybe I'm fucking Stacey's mum."
We make eye contact and then break out into song, screaming the lyrics to Stacey's mum.
What a classic
