"Look at you," my grandmother says, squeezing my cheeks. "You have grown so much."
"Thanks Grandma," I murmur.
"I better talk to that daughter of mine," she says. "It was a bit scum of her to take your boyfriend."
"I'm fine now, grandma," I say. "I'm actually seeing someone."
"I hope he's better than that Jason guy," she says.
I giggle. "Definitely."
"I found our table," dad says. "Hey Charlotte."
"Nicholas," she yells. She walks over to dad and starts placing kisses all over his face. "You are still very handsome."
"Are you flirting with me, Charlotte?" dad jokes.
"Of course," Grandma chuckles. "That remind me I better find Harold."
That's my grandfather. She walks away, so dad and I go to our table.
It was with my mum and Jason.
"Lydia said she couldn't change it," mum sighs. "But it's okay, since we all talk now."
I scoff, crossing my arms. "Yeah right."
"You still seeing that asshole?" Jason asks.
"Did I say you could talk to her?" Dad growls.
Yeah this was gonna be a long reception.
"Ladies and gentleman, for the first time, please put your hands together for Mr and Mrs Madden," the DJ yells.
We all cheer as Aunt Lydia and Uncle Greg walk into the room and to the table allocated up the front.
"Dinner will be out shortly," the DJ says. "But for now, let's partttyy!"
He starts playing Low by Flo Rida, which causes my Aunt Lydia to run over to me. "Come on Danny."
"Okay," I sigh. I get up excitingly and we walk to the dance floor. We start grinding to the song, which the groomsmen start whistling to.

They love to whistle.
Once the song was over my aunt Lydia hugs me. "I'm so sorry about the table situation," she says. "I tried to change it, but that wouldn't let me and-"
"Don't panic," I say. "It's your night, I wouldn't miss it for anything."
"Your the best niece ever," she says.
"You better name your first child after me," I say.
"No promises," she chuckles.
I sit back beside my dad who was glaring at his ex fling.
Dinner is served, which is eaten quietly and very awkwardly. The best man and maid of honour make a speech and then it comes to aunt Lydia and Greg cutting their cake.
My grandma made it, since she owns her own bakery.
Mum gasps. "Who's that?"
I turn to where she's looking and a big ass smile erupts my face.
Bear.
And he looked fine.
His hair was nicely done up and he was wearing a nice black and white suit with a tie. He had rolled up his sleeves so you could see his tattoos.
He walked awkwardly towards me and as soon as he gets to me, I kiss him. "You came," I whisper, as I pull away.
"You dad said I should," he murmurs. "Then proceeded to chuck a suit at me."
"Sounds like him," I say.
"Glad to see you came, Bear," dad says, patting his back. "Now it's your turn to watch Jason, I have a bridesmaid to entertain."
I scrunch up my nose. "Ew dad."
"Sorry not sorry," he shrugs. He walks away towards aunt Lydias made of honour.
"Hey sweetie," mum says. "Are you gonna introduce me?"
I scowl, as I see her trying to show her big breasts to Bear. "I think I've already seen enough," Bear growls.

"That's no way to treat your elders," mum says. "Or the mother of your girlfriend."
"Your no mother," Bear spat. "You were nothing but a slut that Nicholas inseminated."
Oh Jesus.
"How dare you speak to her that way!" Jason growls.
"I wouldn't tell me what to do," Bear seethes. "You hurt Danny."
"He did what?" Dad snaps.
"It's fine dad," I murmur. "Bear was there to protect me."
"I bet your fucking him," Jason snaps. "Wouldn't get down on your knees for me, but will for-"
Everyone gasps as I punch him right in the nose.
"Fuck," I yell, clutching my hand.
"I think you should leave," Greg says to my mum and Jason.
"Are you serious?" Mum hisses. "He's the one who caused a scene."
"He's not the one flashing his tits, Lillian," Lydia snaps.
"Fine, I'll leave," mum snaps. Her and Jason storm out of the reception.
"I'm so sorry, Lydia," I whisper.
"It's okay," she says. "We are even now."
I laugh shaking my head.
"Did you want some ice?" Greg asks.
I look at my hand. "Probably."
"I'll go get it," Bear says. He walks away into the kitchen.
"He's nice," Lydia says. "I can see he's protective of you."
"He is," I whisper.
"You love him," Lydia says.
"I do," I say.
"Your also happier with him," Lydia says. "Keep him."
She disappears with her husband and Bear comes back with an ice pack.
We sit down at the table near us ans he places it on my hand. "How do you do this?" I ask hissing.
"Well for one I learn how to punch properly," he teases. "Either way it's gonna hurt though."
"I don't wanna do it again," I say.
"I'll do it for you next time," he says, smiling.
"I-"
"Ladies and gentleman, if you'll turn your attention to the dance floor, Lydia and Greg will be having their first dance as a married couple."
Lydia and Greg make their way onto the the dance floor. Greg wraps his arms around her waist and she wraps hers around his neck. They sway softly to Far away by Nickelback
"Any other couples, feel free to join now," DJ says.
Bear gets up and hold out his hand. I take it smiling, as he leads me out to the dance floor.
He wraps his arms around me, kissing my shoulder, while I wrap my around his shoulder, running my fingers through his hair.
"Darren told me what you did for him," I whisper.
He pulls away from my shoulder, frowning. "What?"
"That you took the blame for him," I say. "So he didn't miss the birth of Natasha," I croak.
"I couldn't let him miss that," he whispers. "Besides I wanted to get clean, but I knew rehab wouldn't help."
"Rehab?" I question.
"I was addicted to cocaine," he whispers. "Darren was the only one who knew."
"You got a second chance," I say. "That's what matters."
He kisses me softly. "I love you so much, Daniella."
I start crying uncontrollably. "I love you too, Mitchell."
He grabs my face and smashes his lips on mine. "We gotta go," he says, against my lips.
I nod frantically.

This must be in the hidden gems collection " -3ndlesslove"This was, by far, the best one I've read. It just resonated with me when it came to Noah's POV. It wasn't something that just magically came together. It took time and effort for them to get to where they are, and I respect that. It taught me more about how to look at things so thanks a lot for making this book. I meant a lot to me. I will definitely read the sequel and your other books" - Generik_Jay
