《Bear Roberts》Chapter Fifteen

After that happened, I get up and walk into My room and put on a new pair of underwear. I then decide to go to Bear's room and grab one of his hoodies to wear. It falls to my knees.

He was much bigger than me.

I sit down on his bed and look around his room. I shuffle to the other side of his bed and admire his medicine tubes. He had antidepressants, which was obvious as to why.

He was depressed.

Which is understandable since he was in prison for three years.

There was another one that was Ritalin. I searched it up, cause I was a dumb bitch and didn't know what it was. It was mostly common for people with ADHD.

Now that was understandable.

He had a few bottles of each of them. Some of them were empty, so he must hate to chuck them out.

I decide to stop snooping and get out of his bedroom.

When I do that, I trip and stumble over a box.

My ankle started throbbing, but I ignored it as I grabbed the box. I open it up and see pictures.

A lot of pictures.

Mostly of Bear and this girl.

Bear's family with the girl.

Mac, Jay and the girl.

She was beautiful too. Luscious blonde hair, pretty blue eyes.

I feel like that Olivia girl who sings drivers license.

"What are you doing?" I look up and see Jay.

I feel relief. "I tripped over this box," I murmur. "Who's this girl, Jay?"

"That's Crystal," Jay says, crouching beside me. "She was a bitch."

"Is she Bear's ex?" I ask.

"Was his best friend actually," Jay says. "She was so in love with him, that any time he got serious with a girl, she chased them away," Jay explains. "One day, Bear realised, and growled at her, saying he'd never see her that way. That night she went home and killed herself."

"That's so sad," I whisper.

"That's why he keeps this box," He says. "In her memory. She was the only person he cared about."

I quickly put the photos back in the box and slide it under his bed. "Why are you here?" I ask, wiping the tears that had fallen.

Jay helps me off my ass. "I was bored."

"And he wanted you to meet me," I heard another voice.

I suddenly realised that someone was sitting on my couch. A guy. He had blonde hair and green eyes, his hair slicked back into a man bun.

I wasn't really into man buns myself, but he was good looking.

"This is my boyfriend," Jay says. "Hamish."

"Nice to meet you," I murmur.

"You do look like Bear's type," Hamish comments.

"Thanks I think," I giggle.

"Are you wearing Bear's hoodie?" Jay asks, sitting in his boyfriend lap.

"Yeah," I mumble. "We kinda just did stuff."

Jay gasps. "Good stuff!?"

"Yeah," I murmur.

Really good

When Bear gets home, I was sitting on the couch icing my ankle. I must of sprained it.

"What happened?" He growls.

"I tripped," I answer.

He looks around the apartment. "On what?"

"My own feet," I lie.

He just grunts. "Are you wearing my hoodie?"

"It's comfortable," I murmur, snuggling into it.

"Ask," he says and walks away into his room. Seconds later;

"Danny!"

He storms out of his room, glaring at me. "Did you touch my stuff?!"

"Huh?"

"My medication is not in the order I left it in," he snaps. "Why the fuck were you going through it?"

"I'm sorry-"

"I don't care if your sorry," he growls. It scared me so much I flinched. "What the fuck were you doing in my room?!"

"Well I wanted a sweater and then I saw your medication and just wondering what you were taking," I ramble.

"Is that how you tripped?" He asks, crossing his arms.

"I-I tripped on the box, filled with the photos of Crystal," I mutter.

"So that's two things you snooped in," he growls. "Anything else?"

"No," I murmur.

"This is why you weren't allowed in my room," he snaps. "Because I knew a girl like you wouldn't be able to help themselves into my stuff."

"What do you mean by 'a girl like me?'" I whisper.

"A girl who's daddy pays her rent for her," he snaps.

I stand up and take off his hoodie, glaring at him. "Go fuck yourself, Mitchell."

I storm into my room and put on some of my clothes. I then fall onto my bed and let the tears fall.

Mine and Bear's first fight.

And it just had to happen, after that wonderful moment.

Plus it was my fault.
