Alarmed by what I'm hearing; I took a step back, instinctively pushing the emperor away from me in the process.

We looked at each other, both had a shock expression in our faces. When he recovered, Li Rui stretched his hand towards me again. "Lady Bai, I.."

Bai Yan with red eyes and her glamorous red dress approached us. She glanced at me in angry manner; I gulped.

'What duck-sh!t scene is this?!'

This is the Prince Palace, so why are you people keep coming here? Disturbing this villainess peaceful life as an abandoned wife. Stop bringing this villainess a dog drama!

"Greetings to Her Highness The Empress." I saluted.

'Bai Yan, it's not what you think it is. You're not wearing a green-hat. Believe me.'

"An important letter came from the Nan Army."

After reading the said letter; Li Rui stood there silently with a complicated expression on his face.

Bai Yan smirked. "I suggest to let the Nan Queen depart immediately."

Just like that, I was thrown to my mortal enemy.. the carriage!

My back, my butt and whole precious body ached. 'Airplane, where you at? Save me!' I think I already vomited my liver and my other organs on the way to Tang Empire (which now named as Xin).

One whole month..

It took one whole month before I finally reached the state. As I stepped down from the carriage like a zombie, I immediately recognized the person infront of the large gate.

"General Ming.."

"Greetings to Her Highness Nan Queen."

Though in my previous transmigration, I ordered General Ming to infiltrate the Nan Army and asking him to remain loyal to the male lead until the end; this second transmigration, I can't seem to find the general's whereabout as if.. he was hiding from me.. or someone was hiding him from me.

General Ming guided me to the prince bedroom. Jin'er waited outside with the others. When I entered the bedroom, I immediately saw Li Han; he was sitting in the chair and the table was cluttered with empty bottles.

"Greetings to His Highness Nan King."

My eyes darted to the red-stained white bandage that was around his left shoulder. His twenty-years old naked upper body was on full view and knotted with horible scars, covering one another. I shuddered looking at the long deep scar that runs along on his chest.

If my memory serves me right, it wasn't there in my first transmigration. Li Han never had this.. scar.

But didn't the letter stated that the male lead was severely injured and bedridden so he wanted to see his wangfei? So why does the entire room stink of booze, making me dizzy?

When Li Han strode across the room, my feet subconsciously retreated until my back hit the door. I gasped when the male lead trapped me between the door and his body by slamming his hand against the door.

* 'Mommy, this is.. the legendary kabedon!'

"How dare you wear her face? How dare you look at me using her eyes?"

"With this lips, how dare you utter lies?" His thumb brushing them, ever so lightly.

"Longing for her, even breathing became painful."

'W-what?!'

Li Han took a dagger from god knows where and showed it infront of me, scaring me to death. As he snatched both of my hands and made me hold the dagger, the male lead thrust it into his chest, drewing blood.

I shrieked!

His great height made me feel so small just like an ant; I raised my head to him, confused. 'What.. what are you doing?'

"Suxin.. wanted my life."

As soon as he said that, Li Han thrusted the dagger more. 'Stop!' I squirmed, desperately trying to push him away and wish to drop the dagger from my hand.

I finally found my voice; I begged. "Y-your Highness, stop it."

I could hear the blade piercing his flesh. More and more blood dripped from his chest, sinking and staining my dress.

"Li Han! Are you crazy?! Let go!" My voice broke.

A hardness crept into his cavernous eyes, looking like a demon who wanted to punish me in hell. As my eyes grew misty, I screamed again: "Li Han, you are a fool!"

The male lead stiffened.

Something flickered in his eyes. His hold on the dagger suddenly loosen, so I took the chance to throw the dagger away.

'What's wrong with you? Why are you looking at me with such a pained expression?'

'Why are you torturing yourself? Li Han, why do you look so miserable?'

As the flood of tears washed my face; the male lead stared at me. Those eyes were telling me that I have no choice; forcing me to completely yield to him.

Hopelessly trapped by his pleading eyes; I placed my hand on his wounds, trying to stop the bleeding.

I spoke softly in a voice that was little more than a whisper: "Li Han.."

"Li Han, why are you.. such a fool?"
