Aretmis's Pov
"Okay let's be like really really honest I should be the one that speaks to her first because like it makes logically sense. I met her first, so let me do the talking."
"Tony the person in that room isn't the sweet sixteen year old soulmate we met a few years back, Artemis is now a nineteen year old woman. We don't know the kind of things she's done or what she has seen we have to process with cation."
I found my head like the last few days pounding like a mad man, but whatever they had been injecting me with some how had been making my power surges less frequent.
Though it did come with massive headaches and Vega always cussing and what not. Days spent playing with my curls and watching my dark brown skin with interest tracing it. I got to reflect on all the damage I did for three years.
But since being brought back to the Avengers base. I haven't spoken to anyone I just felt ashamed every time someone entered the room. I couldn't look them in the eye because I know the trust that took so long to build with them was a very thin line of everything you can imagine. I couldn't even revert back to be the scared teenager I was once. This was all too real.
"Maybe Peter should go.. I think we should just be careful before just shoving soulmate after soulmate into the room." I see Clint has become more of the voice of reason.
"Me!"
"Well looks like you are up Parker, stop being afraid that's your best friend." I fluttered my eyes a couple times the pounding now at bay, but I sat up from the little spot I haven't moved from watching the transparent door soon opened and in walked Peter looking so nervous.

"Thanks Friday." He stammered a little running his finger all over his lower lip, he looked around the room.
I propped my arms over my knees and gazed at him more.
"I'm not gonna harm you Peter, could never imagine doing that." He jumped a little startled from hearing my voice but whipped around to stare at me from my corner his eyes growing soft so quick.
"Oh wow... Artemis." He whispered letting my name slip out from his lips, his shoes echoing against the floor before he was kneeling a few feet away from me.
"Artemis what were you thinking you silly girl." That was the first time since being here for a couple days a laugh left me quietly I let my head drop down a little taking a shaky breath in.
"Oh Peter... I totally wish I could explain... Maybe I can." I muttered but with a few scoots Peter was wrapping his arms around me giving me such a tight hug, which at first I was hesitant with but his scent was so familiar to me, his arms.
He was different this was my best friend but older. My arms wrapped around his back returning the hug tightly. "I missed you..."
"I missed you to Peter..."

"I don't know I guess some would think I would forget about it, but it lives with me everyday actually, I mean how could I forget? I was just so scared, I had been a couple days prior." I whispered glancing over my shoulder were Peter was resting his head there he was listening intensity his own arms wrapped around his legs.
"Back on your birthday, during your party I saw what you could have, and would have become and I told Tony that maybe all the pressure wasn't so good for you back then." I chuckled quietly a little.

"I was just weak... And wanted to run away, I don't even know how I'm gonna face everyone again, my mom..." I muttered glancing over at Peter I gently flicked a small bunch of purple flowing energy between my fingers and Peter watched it.
"That can't control you Artemis, I think that's what drove you, but this." He paused to poke at my forehead.
"Your mind over anything I mean we are both nineteen now.. So much time had passed but I know you. You never like hurting innocent ones, you never like killing people. And even if it takes some time you know you'll want to fix it." My eyes stayed with a soft expression.
"Vega has different moods each day, so it varied. I never liked hurting people, killing them. Doing things just to get places." I grumbled a little sighing at the full ache now present in my head I let the flow faded so I could rub at my head.
"I know the best person on the team to help you is Wanda, and I don't know why it took so long to realize her power is so similar to your own. They have the perfect plan on mind to help you on the track of healing Artemis but you need to be prepared for the long road of trust and the work it's gonna take." I kept my gaze on Peter fully, but I found a small smile growing across my face.
"You know you've grown a lot, never would think I get a pep talk from you I needed it thank you Peter." I smiled at him.
"What are friends for, plus we got a lot to catch up on, you gotta help me with MJ okay I'm not good with girls and since she's my girlfriend." I smiled a little at his deep stammering rambles but I watched when the door opened again. It must have been hours.
"Artemis." My heart speed up quite a lot seeing Tony entering the room.
"Tony I..." At first the words couldn't leave me for a hard minute but I felt the hard rough sting of tears brimming my eyes.
"I'm so sorry." I whispered out. His eyes gazed at me so sadly but he held out his arms out for me. I was quick to push myself up off the floor rushing over towards Tony he wrapped his arms straight around my waist.
I hugged him so tightly resting my head on his chest. "I'm so sorry... I'm sorry." He held the back of my head.
"Its okay...it's gonna be okay I promise."

"I don't believe it." a low inhumane voice whispered. I have to look up to meet his gaze. Is he a new bully? Haven't seen him before."What is your name?" He's against the light but his eyes were like sapphires glowing in the night. Curious."Your name." I felt some weird tone emanating from his voice. Too demanding... too powerful."Uh..." my name? No one's interested with my name, except for the cafe's barista. "Don't make me repeat. State your name!""Nathalia Nicolai." I spilled flabbergasted by his yelling. For once, i saw... amusement then it quickly changed back to disgust."I, Alpha Chase Ashton Michael, rejects you Nathalia Nicolai as my mate and Luna of Bloodridge pack.""Huh?" Should i say 'nice to meet you'?"Now, repeat after me. I, Nathalia Nicolai, accepts your rejection, as your mate and luna of Bloodridge pack." He nod at me. Ok? i repeat the whole verse."Good." He remarked letting go of me and exiting."Wow." My only comment. That's really a new way to introduce yourself and rejecting people. I took a sip of my drink."But that's really uselss." I smiled leaving the room.If you are born missing something, will you ever stop looking for that something? Try to fill what is gone? Won't you continue on living?

8 179Falsely Yours, Arthur
Arthur Fucking walker would someday ruin me.•Ever since the day Marnie set her eyes on Arthur she knew she was done for. With dark eyes and dark hair, the girl in the band was someone she wanted to know everything about.Secrets would come out and blood would be bound to spill but in the green lights or the golden sun rays, Arthur would burn every soul to grant Marnie warmth.•Arthur's hand came up to my hips as she grabbed it tightly, staining my skirt with her bloody hands. My whole body was trembling. The knife.I turned around abruptly taking out my knife and pressing it to her neck, but she was quicker as she pressed her knife to my bare thigh. One of her hands was still on my hips as she pushed close to me.I flinched at the cold metal pressed on my upper thigh. But my hand didn't falter. I pressed the knife against her neck harder. A drop of blood dripped down her neck and trailed to her collarbone. Slowly trailing down and travelling down the curve of her and inside her shirt."What did you see my angel?" She asked, her voice mocking as she stepped closer. I took a step back my back meeting the cold metal and her knife sliding higher."Nothing," I whispered, panting.Fucking hell."Nothing, I saw nothing." I breathed out and she grinned."Shit liar baby." She shook her head kissing my temple and my collarbone. Her lips lingered for more than a second."Get your knife away from me." I grit my teeth."And here I thought you liked a knife between your legs." She whispered grinning, I swallowed as I could feel the blood drip down from the cut.
8 121THE LOOK OF A SILVER FOX✅
I always had a "thing" for older guys. You know, like, when I was 16 I couldn't imagine being with someone younger than 18. Or, when I hit 18, men under 20 were no go!But Eric is "quite" older than me. His grey hair makes it pretty obvious. And I would go away from him If, you know.. he wouldn't turn me on so fucking much!
