Artemis's Pov

The profound thought to run away had been stuck through my mind for a least a month after yet another breakdown. The only problem I faced was who I was surrounded with. Peter always knew when something was up.

I was surrounded by nothing but heroes. I thought about the hell I would end up putting her through, but with another year going by, I would be eighteen both me and Peter and I wouldn't be anyone's problem anymore. But then he would show me other things... Showing me the full course of what my powers could do.

And it was a little tempting the darker things. The images he showed me would flash in my head and then when I would open my eyes purple orbs were floating around me. But then there was another thought. I clearly was dangerous. Maybe killing me was better.

I had sunk into the compound a bit since I was suppose to have training with Clint and Bruce but I was confused when I noticed no one was around.

"Hello?" I called out a little jolting a little when Friday called out to me.

"Hello Artemis, Mr. Stark wanted me to inform you when you arrived that all of the Avengers are in a meeting with the Secretary of State, would you like me to inform him you have arrived?" I quickly shook my head at AI.

"No Friday, please keep me this a secret," I begged "Can you show me the footage?" I asked her gripping my bag close.

"Certainly." I blinked my eyes watching closely as the screen pulled up everyone was around the meeting table.

"Tony, are we gonna have the same troubles like we did with Wanda? You are telling me that your soulmate is under control of her powers, she is a walking time bomb could destroy everything in any minute."

Tony sighed leaning off his hand. "With all due respect sir, we are trying to help her heal, but at the same time we know she is unstable but treating her like she is a villain is just gonna create one, she just needs time." Tony sighed out roughly.

"You guys have had enough time training her, she is still unstable what then when she bombs a city or worse hurts your daughter.." My eyes grew a little soft when I saw Tony wince a bit.

"Don't bring his daughter into this sir, with even more respect, if we treat her like a criminal and lock her up like a criminal, that would be breaking the trust we have with her." Steve looked very serious and Clint was glaring slumped in his seat, even Thor, Loki, Natasha, and Bruce look serious.

"Then do the next best thing kill her." I saw Natasha tense up so quickly and slam her fist into the table.

"Why the hell would we kill our soulmate! Are you out of your fucking mind!" Natasha yelled out. I didn't wanna watch it anymore.

"Friday turn it off please," I told her. I felt my body shaking but I then sighed sitting down on the floor of the compound living room.

I brought out a bunch of paper before I started writing to everyone that I could even to Morgan. When she was older she would understand. That I didn't just abandon her.

I wrote everyone individual letters. I sighed heavily needing to finish this up quickly I then write one letter addressing everyone. I smiled softly and inhaled.

Sometimes certain promises were made and broken, I can't not run from what I've done to myself or anyone, but the longer I stay the longer I am in the unknown. I know by running away I'm doing the cowards way out but... If keeping you safe I can figure out how to make this power my own. Promises were are and broken, promises were made when you hold it, promises made by you, when will I see you... Know that I love you all and I promise to come back when I understand myself and when I find my certain.

I laid down each letter on the table knowing Bucky would be the first to find it.

"Friday erase the footage of me today?" I could tell the AI was very much hesitant on that request.

"Artemis. Mr. Stark has a block that allows me to do that, only he knows the password." I took a breather before speaking remembering all the talks I've had with him.

"System overlook, delete footage, password is Artemis," I whispered out.

"Processing deleting footage." I smiled sadly and once again I slipped out from the compound shutting my eyes before focusing on the voice.

"You ready to let me take control?" He questioned to me a bit snickering. I felt shaky but I felt the power was making me float a bit helping me move much quicker and away. I exhaled roughly.

"Will I have a better understanding?" I asked glancing down at how high I was now floating through the sky with this purple light all around me.

"Why of course we will become one, you'll be stronger than ever, unstoppable." I shut my eyes tightly before I then snapped my eyes feeling they were glowing before the loudest and most deepest explosion went out holding my hand out a purple explosion went off in the nearby city.

I watched as I barely even lifted a finger and I watched as the nearby city was lit up in a fire. I glanced down at my arm sadly at the marks. They soon were just gonna hate me.

"Now that's what I call power... Damn you are powerful Artemis for now forget those avengers all you need is me,"

*So just in case anyone is confused, Artemis power is kinda like Venom and Eddie in a way she has a voice inside her head, and when he takes over her body, he unleashes the full potential of her powers, which is very powerful.
