Artemis's Pov
Have you ever woken up, and find it very difficult to find the will power to get up every day?
Every day it was a hard debate in my head to not get up and head to school, it was the battle of the century in my head. But totally in my defensive, every day, a new part of my body was bruised, sore and or aching in various areas.
Usually, I would make a playful joke but, my head was killing me, and I knew exactly what was causing the new aches and pains of today.
I pushed my brownish slightly blonde mix of curls back from my sweaty face and glanced down at all the seven little logos across my forearm.
My fingers traced each one. They each had there own little design, but me being my clueless self, I had no slightest clue to who the seven might be.
They all were different colors, ranging from a dark red and yellow, to black and purple, to dark blues, and sliver.
I remember exactly when I turned sixteen, and the seven soul mate marks appeared across my arm. My mom screamed so loudly that day.
I chuckled to myself. It was very uncommon that someone had more than one soulmate, but after the snap, and half the world disappearing for five whole years, anything is possible at this moment.
I puffed out my cheeks sighing falling back against the pillows, still, the sweat clung to me like glue.
I glanced down at my arms, cracking a soft smile tracing the red and yellow logo on my arm.
"Take it easy yeah, all of you," I mumbled tracing the marks lovingly the day hasn't even begun yet, and I was already drained mentally and physically.

School was usually a bore and took seven hours of the day, to learn basically nothing that we didn't already know.

I enjoyed art class though, the teacher didn't actually teach us, so it was more of a study hall class.
You were free to use anything you like, and sit and chat with your friends as long as we didn't get too loud, or acting like no good teenagers.
I glanced up from the art stand and mixed together some paint, finishing up on the last bits of pieces to the work I was doing. It was like a happy place when I painted, and it was something I could control in a way.
I chewed on my lower lip, one earphone in blasting a random song from my playlist.
I heard someone stumble beside me, knocking over some paint, and I quickly shot my hand out from reflects grabbing it from making a mess all across the floor setting my stuff down.
I glanced up at the shy looking brunette boy. He was quick to start stammering loudly.
"Oh Geez! I'm so sorry, man I didn't mess up your painting right?" He quickly questioned.
I faintly cracked a small smile. "No not at all, it's all fine," I answered seeing him looked relived rubbing at the back of his head.
"I'm really sorry, I don't look where I am going sometimes, and don't think, you know it was just there, and I was walking." I couldn't help but let the smile stay across my face, as quiet giggles left me.
The boy was really rambling, I think he really thought I was gonna scream and yell at him. "Hey." I quickly interrupted him seeing him get quiet fast.
"It really is alright, see look no harm done." I showed him, watching him lean in a little to take a closer look at the painting.
"Oh wow, you're pretty good at that." He exclaimed flashing me a grin. I was a little started not used to being complimented.

I studied the boy realizing he was familiar, he was in my AP English class. Which was the only AP class I had.
"I know you," I said watching his eyes look to me, very startled as well. "I mean, not like your name, you're in my AP English class." I quickly stammered giving off a small bashful smile, little pieces of my hair were flying from the two little puff balls across my head.
"Oh yeah!" He exclaimed again looking at me. He flashed me another smile holding out his hand for me.
"I'm Peter Parker." He beamed at me. He had this bubbly, and very kind aura now could anyone be mean, it, in fact, wanna be mean, I mean just look at those puppy eyes.
I smiled and slowly rolled up the sleeves from my long-sleeved shirt watching his eyes trail down to briefly look at my arm, his eyes widen a little before he looked back up at me.
I took his hand into mine, shaking it. "Nice to meet you, Peter, I'm Artemis," I told him smiling.
"Oh wow, kinda like the Greek goddess?" He questioned making me grow a little flustered nodding.
"Yeah, my parents were Greek mythology nerds," I told him chuckling.
"Aren't we all at some point." He chuckled his eyes were still trialing down to look at my arm so curious like, before he looked back up at me, giving me a smile.
"Hey, why don't you sit with me and my friends for the rest of the week, we've been needing some new people." He suddenly asked me.
I briefly rubbed at my cheek, feeling a new sore, and not so pleasant feeling press against my cheek.
Ah, damn a punch to the face? I thought lost in thought, I'm gonna have to get an ice pack. I once again thought. I quickly focused back on Peter giving him a soft smile.
"Sure, why not, I don't have any friends," I told him watching him frown to himself.
"Oh no, well you have me now okay Artemis." He told me gently with a smile.
I returned it watching him look over his shoulder. "Well I gotta go, I promise I'll find you at lunch, don't be a stranger." He beamed chuckling waving.
"See ya later Parker." I chuckled shaking my head watching him take his leave.
