When I woke up, the first thing I thought about was the kiss. It was just a kiss, why am I overthinking everything? He probably didn't even feel anything when he kissed me. I'm being stupid.

After doing my morning routine and getting dressed, I walked towards Ezra's room. I should be leaving to school soon, but today I want to relax, so I'll probably skip or something.

I knocked on his door and when he mumbled a 'come in', I walked inside his room. I've never been in his room before, weird, I know. He's just always barging inside mine so I let him.

"What brings you here, hot stuff?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

"I need to talk to you about something serious" I said and he nodded.

"What is it?" He asked, patting the space beside him and I sat down on his bed.

"First, I need you to promise me something. You can't tell anyone about this. You won't start yelling, fanboying, whatever you call your weird reactions. This has to be a secret" I said and he pursed his lips.

"Well, I can't promise you anything because I don't know what it is, but I can make an almost promise, which means I will try not to yell and I, most probably, won't tell anyone" He said and I sighed.

"That works for me, I guess" I said and he grinned.

"Tell me!" He yelled and I nodded.

"ZaneandIkissedlastnightanditsdrivingmecrazy!" I yelled and he raised an eyebrow.

"Can you like say it slower? I don't understand retarded people language" He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Zane and I kissed last night and it's driving me crazy" I said softly and his eyes widened.

"Holy mother of bacon! Jesus Christ! My ship has sailed!" He yelled and I covered my face with my hands.

"I'm nervous, okay? He has a girlfriend-"

"That bitch? He doesn't like her. Trust me" He interrupted and I shook my head.

"Anyway, he has a girlfriend, but he kissed me and I liked it and now I'm feeling weird because I like him and-"

"Stop rambling. You've liked him for a long time now. Maybe you don't see it yourself, but I do and Theo does too. I know Zane, he's like my brother and we basically grew up together, so trust me when I say, he likes you too. He's probably confused or just can't admit that he finally actually likes a girl, not like a one night stand. I see the way he gets jealous whenever you and Theo are hanging out. Even when he is with his bitch of a 'girlfriend', he still stares at you and they way he does it proves that he likes you. Just give him some time, he needs to figure himself out first" He explained and I nodded.

"But what if you're all wrong and he doesn't like me back? I-I just realized I liked him yesterday and I don't even know what to do. I'm scared" I said and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"If that were the case, then you're going to be a strong woman and you're gonna prove him what he just lost" He said and I smiled.

"Thanks, Ezra" I said and he smiled.

"You know I'm always here for you"

I decided to go to school. Not only because I wanted to see Zane's face when he saw me after yesterday, but because...who and I lying to? I only came because of that.

I walked down the hallway and saw Theo leaning against my locker. We had lunch now, so he was probably waiting for me so we could go to the cafeteria together.

"Hey there" I said and he smiled.

"Hey, Zane's girl" He said and my eyes widened. That motherfucker.

"He told you, didn't he? Ezra told you. I'll kill him!" I yelled and he chuckled.

"Relax. I won't tell anyone. I'm a good boy" He said patting his chest and I raised an eyebrow.

"You're just stupid" I said and he rolled his eyes.

"Bitch. Anyway, let's go eat. I'm starving" He said and I nodded, walking towards the cafeteria with him.

We made our way to the line and I grabbed my slice of pizza and a soda. I'm not a huge fan of soda, but pizza with water is just not good. I then grabbed a slice of chocolate cake because they don't sell it very often and that's probably the greatest thing here. I paid for my lunch and made my way to the table with Theo walking behind me.

I don't know what they sell in the cafeterias there, because where I live, the schools are different and they don't sell lunch, they just serve that nasty rice no one can eat because it's almost like rock hard. Lol.

I sat beside Ezra and Theo sat beside me, so basically I was the ham in the sandwich and they were the bread. Idiotic joke. I know. We started eating and a few minutes later, Jade and Zane sat in front of us.

"Did you guys know that Zane is taking me out on a date today!? I'm so excited" She squealed and I kept eating.

Ouch.

"No. Congratulations!" Theo said, fake excitement clearly showing on his voice.

"It's going to be amazing, doll face" Zane said and kissed her cheek.

Ouch.

I took a deep breath and then grabbed the fork to eat my cake. Seriously, why can't they have spoons here. Now I can't eat the frosting that sticks to the plate. Dumbasses.

"Do you know how many calories that piece of cake has?" Jade asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, I don't care" I said and she smirked.

"You're gonna get fat. Wait, scratch that. You're gonna get fatter and look uglier than you already do" She said and I took a deep breath.

Brynn, chill the fuck out. Don't lose it, she's not worth your punches. Breathe in and out.

"Why don't you shut up?" I asked and her smirk widened.

"If you want to steal Zane away from me so bad, you should stop eating so much cause I know he doesn't like fat girls" She said and Ezra slammed his hands on the table.

But, who said I want to steal Zane from you?

"Okay, shut the fuck up, bitch!" He growled and my eyes widened. I've never seen him so mad before.

"Zane baby, are you gonna let them speak to me like that?" She asked and he gulped.

"I-I"

"You are an asshole! Why do you keep defending this bitch when you know she's a fake ass barbie!?" I exclaimed and he glared at me.

"She's my girlfriend and you have no right to call her a bitch! You keep sending glares at her, so of course she'll get mad!" He hissed and Jade smirked. She's definitely enjoying this.

"Oh, now I'm the bad one!? You're a hypocrite! She's calling me fat because I glared at her? I was eating peacefully but she has to be the biggest bitch and get on my nerves! You two should burn in hell!" I yelled and stormed out of the cafeteria.

I walked back inside, grabbed my slice of cake, and then made my way out again.

I ran to the bathroom and locked myself inside a cubicle. I'm so stupid. I was thinking he probably liked me, but of course he doesn't. Jade looks like a model and I'm plain Brynn. Not that I'm ugly, because I am beautiful, but she has him and I don't, plus she's the amazing actress I wish I could be. Her performance in the cafeteria was fantastic.

I took deep breaths and tried to contain the urge to cry. The tears were threatening to spill but I tried my best not to let them fall. I'm stronger than this.

Sometimes I wish my dad were still alive. I miss him. He always had the best advice. Hell, I even miss my mom sometimes and she disowned me, so that is something.

I walked out of the cubicle and stood in front of the big mirror. I'm better than this. I'm Brynn, the girl who tries to be funny but miserable fails at it. The girl who stole Zane's phone and didn't give a fuck about the consequences.

Oh Zane, you're going to regret ever doing that. I'll show you how much you're missing
