Sara felt a lot better the next day. I stayed home with her and I'm glad I did. It was like a small break.

Kevin called me and asked if we could see each other this weekend. I told him that I'd have to check.

Ethan didn't like my friendship with Kevin, especially since he saw him kiss me. I told him he was an old friend and that I couldn't just cut him out of my life. He decided to change the subject. I hope he understands.

I definitely don't like Kevin in that way. He always looked out for me and I looked up to him like an older brother.

Friday came along, Ethan left super early in the morning that I didn't catch him on his way out. He left me a bouquet of roses. Aw how sweet of him. I sent him a text message "thank you for the roses! I loved them! Happy Valentines Day"

He immediately texted me back and said "I love you"

"I love you too!" I texted back.

I got Sara up and we got ready for school. The days passed by in a blur. I decided to call Liz and ask her for some help on how to do my hair and makeup for today's so called school event. She called her makeup artist and she was able to see me today.

I decided to wear the black dress I wore on New Years Day. I was just ready when I heard Ethan walk in the room.

"Gorgeous" he said walking in and giving me a kiss. I asked the makeup artist for simple make up and hair do.

"You don't look so bad yourself" I said looking at him in a Tux.

"Really now?" He said raising his eyebrow. "If we didn't have an event I would..." Ethan was just about saying but chocked on his words as Sara walked into the room.

"You guys ready?" She asked.

"We are" I said laughing.

"Paige you look so pretty!" Sara said.

I curtsied "thank you my lady" I said and Sara laughed.

"Well we should get going. Sara behave while Ashley is babysitting" Ethan said. Ashley was one of the maids.

"Sara always behaves" I said winking at Sara "right Sara" I said.

She winked back "of course I do" she said. We all laughed then Ethan and I headed to the event.

The event was held in the schools huge auditorium. There was so many fancy looking people here. I didn't know a soul. Ethan immediately recognized some people. We all greeted each other and they started having a conversation. I saw a catering booth. I needed some water. I excused myself and headed for the booth. Then I accidentally bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry" I said and I looked up. "Kevin?" I asked surprised.

He hugged me. "Paige it's so nice to see you. My god you look beautiful" He said and I blushed. I knew he was in town but I didn't know why he was in town.

"What are you going here?" I asked him.

"I should ask you the same question. This really isn't your scene." He said. Oh he knew me well.

"Oh, one of my professors asked me to be here" I said.

"Oh got it. That makes sense. My Hosptal director asked me to be here. He wants to take me under his wing. Speaking of which, I would love to introduce you. He could help you get into medical school in New York" he said.

"Oh Kevin, I don't think..." he pulled me to an older looking man in a Tuxedo.

"Dr. Regis this is my friend Paige. She's Pre-med here in UCLA." Kevin said.

"So this is Paige. Nice to meet you young lady. Kevin here has told me great things about you" he said extending his hand out to me.

I shook his hand. "Nice you meet you Dr. Regis." I said politely.

The three of us got into a small conversation on our view on working with kids. I adored kids so it was easy to talk to them about it.

"Well Paige. You certainly are a smart young lady. If you plan on applying to NYU medicine look me up" he said. "Excuse me" he said walking away.

"Paige way to go! He totally liked you! Have you applied to NYU?" He asked.

"Paige" I heard someone say. Kevin and I turned around and saw Ethan. Ethan saw Kevin and he did not look happy. He walked up to us. "I was looking all over for you" he said glaring at Kevin.

"I found Kevin here and I got caught up. Sorry" I said.

"Don't apologize to him Paige" Kevin said. "You have a problem man?" He asked Ethan.

"What if I do?" Ethan said walking closer to Kevin.

I got in the middle "wow there. Everything is just fine." I said.

Then we hear over the speaker "Ladies and gentlemen may I please have your attention. I would like to introduce the man of the hour. Ethan Anderson" Then everyone started clapping.

"Come one Paige" Ethan said pulling me to the stage.

"Sorry Kev. See you tomorrow" I said and walked to the stage with Ethan. I looked at Kevin and he looked somewhat sad.

I felt awkward getting on stage. Thankfully there was other people there. They gave Ethan an award for his donation to science and medicine and then he gave a speech.

After his speech we mingled a bit and then headed home.

We arrived home pretty late. Sara was asleep when we got home. I quickly checked on her and saw her sleeping with the teddy bear I got her. Then I headed towards the room. When I opened the door the room was covered in rose peddles and flowers. "Ethan" I called out.

Ethan emerged from the closet with another bouquet of flowers. "Happy Valentines Day" Ethan said.

"Ethan, oh my god. These are lovely" I said grabbing the flowers. I looked around the room. "What is all this?" I asked.

"Well it's our first Valentines Day together. I wanted it to be special" he said. "Plus I wanted to say I was sorry for not being around as much." He said.

"Thank you Ethan and you don't have to apologize. I understand that you're busy" I said.

He held out his hand. "Will you dance with me" he said.

"I would love to but fair warning, you know I'm a bad dancer" I said grabbing his hand.

He pulled me close to him. "Nonsense" he said. I had my hands around his neck and he had his hands on my waist. We danced for a song or two then Ethan started kissing my neck.

"Ethan" I moaned.

"That's right. Say my name! Your mine Paige" he said lifting me up and throwing me onto the bed. His hands were everywhere. "say you're mine Paige." He said.

"I'm yours Ethan. I'm all yours" I said moaning.

He spent the entire night making up for lost time.
