a loud bang woke me up , i looked beside me and saw Noah sleeping peacefully , i thought i was imagining it until the same voice came from downstairs , i stood up startled not knowing what to do , i took my phone and wore my slippers , after that i slowly moved towards the door , opening it slightly so i can see what's going on outside , the moment i opened the door i was greeted with darkness and a very disturbing quietness , i opened my phone and used the small light to look around but nobody was there .

i took a deep breath and walked out of the room leaving the door open in case i need it , as i reached to the stairs , i saw Claire laying on the floor , a scream almost escaped me but i swallowed it down , i walked towards her and checked on her to see if she was alive , i gently touched her neck and felt her pulse making me sigh in relief for a brief second before i heard a loud bang, just like a muffled gun shot , i opened my eyes wide as i approached the railings to see a man with a big hideous scar on his face holding a gun and walking outside of the kitchen with blood all over him and beside him i saw Alanzo laying on the floor in a pool of his blood .

my body started to shake in fear and i felt my throat close up in panic as the man reloaded his gun and started moving to the stairs , i pushed myself away and ran quietly to my room , closing and locking the door behind me , my hands shook as i searched for my phone but it was nowhere near me

"damn it , I ... dropped ... it " i almost screamed out loud , not knowing what to do , i heard the man footsteps get closer and closer making me panic , i looked on my bed and saw Noah sleeping soundly , i took a deep breath and decided that no matter what i need to protect my baby. i tried to think of what to do and that's when it hit me , 'the hidden room ', kristian had told me about the small room that was hidden behind our wardrobe , he told me it was for emergencies and this is definitely one .

i sprang towards the bed and tried to wake up Noah but he wouldn't move , so i lifted him up with the blanket and ran towards the walk in closet , as i walked in i went straight towards the jewellery section , i removed some of the jewellery and pressed the password and slowly a small door opened in the wall , i ran into the room and laid Noah down , i looked at him and almost cried in pain , i didn't want to do this but i had no choice , i kissed him gently on his forehead and walked out closing the door behind me .

the moment the hidden room's door closed a loud bang came startling the shit out of me , and i knew that he was trying to open the door , so i ran towards the bed again and searched for Noah's phone , after a lot of stumbling down i finally found it under the bed , right away i putted it on mute and turned on the GPS and hid it inside my underwear .

"hello little kitten . . . ." i heard a voice come from behind me as the door opened with a bang . i wanted to cry but i couldn't , i didn't want to show him any weakness

"who are you ?" i said with venom as i turned around and stared at the man in front of me

"oh the kitten can talk ? for how long i wonder ?" the man said as he walked slowly towards me with his gun pointed at me , i took a step back and took a deep breath as the words got stuck in my throat

"now be a good girl and tell me where is the little boy ?" the man said as he stood right in front of me and brushed my cheek with his creepy hands .the moment he mentioned Noah i felt a rush of power come to me and i pushed his hand away with disgust

"he is not here "

"oh! . . . is he now ? and where can i find him then ?" the man said as he pulled me by my hand and roughly pushed me towards him as he hugged my waist with his disgusting hands , i tried to pull back and resist but he would just tighten his hold even more , i stared at him with the coldest glare and ignored him

"answer me ." i ignored him again but the next thing i felt was a slap to my face throwing me into the bed , my face felt like it was on fire and i could taste the metallic taste of my blood in my mouth . the man bent down towards me and pulled me by the hair making me groan in pain

"I Will ask you one last time , where is the boy ?" i stared at the man and glared at him again , i took a deep breath and spat all the blood that i had in my mouth into his face making him furious , i heard him growl just like and animal as he threw me down into the bed and slapping me again hard on the other side of my face , this time i couldn't help but let out a small scream in pain , i tried to get myself ready for the next impact but before his hand reached me , a familiar voice came from the entrance of the room making me feel even more angry

"they're almost here , we need to leave "

" i can't find the boy " the man said in anger as he walked towards her and cleaned his face with his sleeve

"leave him , we will just take her , she is more than enough "

"wh...why?" i said with a whisper towards her as i felt some tears trickle down on my face

"shut up bitch , did you really think i was gonna live as a maid my whole life , miss Whitney offered me so much more " she said as she walked towards me and all of a sudden i felt a needle prick my neck and things around me started getting dark as i whispered her name . . .

"Camilla "

Kristian's pov :

I ran into the living room where everything was quiet , i looked around and saw a trail of blood leading towards the kitchen , i walked towards the kitchen with my heart beating loudly and i saw Alanzo laying in pool of blood and not barely breathing making me want to cry out loud . i felt my breath hitch as i stood back up and ran towards my room while i shouted

"Scarlet. . . Noah " I screamed out loud and ran towards the bedroom ignoring everything around me , as I reached our room i found the door open wide with a few cracks on it , and that's when it hit me

"They're gone . . . " i whispered in pain as i felt someone stand behind me

"Kris. . . " mason said as he laid a hand on my shoulder

"they're gone " i said again this time more loudly as i dazedly walked into the room looking for anything to make me feel better , but what i saw made me feel even worse , there was drops of blood on the bed , where Noah should have been laying down .

" oh god ! " i heard jack cry out loud as he walked into the room with fear in his eyes

i walked closer into the bed and fell down on my knees as my world started to crumble down in pieces, i felt two hands on my shoulders as Adam tried to pull me up , i pushed his hands away as i stared into the stains of blood

"everything will be okay kristian , we will find them no matter what " Adam said as he pulled me up again , i just stared at him and nodded my head

"come on we need to move fast , they haven't been gone for long " jack said as he called for me and Adam , i took a deep breath in and walked behind them , but right before we left the room i noticed something weird .

i stared the opened doors of the closet for a couple of seconds trying to figure out what was wrong , and that's when i realized it , the closet should be closed , scarlet will never keep it open like this and that's when it hit me . . .

i ran into the closet ignoring the shouts and calls that were coming from behind me , i walked into the jewellery section and just as i expected everything was messed up , i pushed the jewellery aside and found the screen where i needed to put the password and just as i finished putting it in, the door of the hidden room opened wide , i looked inside with anticipation and found Noah puddled up in his blanket as he laid on the floor, i ran towards him and checked his body trying to see if he was injured , but there was nothing and he was just sleeping soundly , i felt my whole body scream in relief as i hugged him closer to me .

"is he okay ?" Adam and jack asked as they stood behind me looking at Noah with a smile, I nodded my head at them and stood up

"he is sleeping " i said to them as i walked out of the closet and slowly left the room , we went downstairs and i saw the maids slowly waking up and walking into the living room , i went into my office and saw mason working on his laptop with mateo beside him with blood all over his shirt and hands , the moment mateo saw us he walked towards me with fear in his eyes

"he is okay , just sleeping " i told him as i laid Noah down on the couch and pulled the blanket up to keep him warm

"yeah just like everyone else " mateo said with a growl as he checked on Noah's pulse "and scarlet ?" mateo asked me with a look of despair ,i felt my whole body shook again as i remembered that scarlet was nowhere to be found

"missing" Adam said as if he wanted to help me

"what happened to everyone ?" I asked even though deep down i knew the answer

"somebody fucking drugged the whole staff , and probably Noah and scarlet too " mateo said as he walked towards the desk where mason was working

"no not everyone " mason said making all the three of us turn around to look at him

"what do you mean "

"you need to see this " mason said , i walked towards him and the moment i saw the screen i screamed loudly as i felt my heart break into pieces
