scarlet's pov :

" omg , i can't believe you're engaged " donna screamed as she hugged me again and started screaming

"i know i can't believe it too , and you're actually here , i am so happy right now , it feels like a dream "

"oh honey it's not a dream , we have been here since yesterday night "

"WHAT?"

"your fiancé wanted to make we will be here in time so we came early , he flew all of us here , he actually wanted to bring your nanna too , but she refused " ben said as he hugged me again

"how are you feeling ?" ben asked me with a smile

"like i am in heaven , it's unreal "

"well it is so get used to it sis-in - law " a whisper came from beside me i looked behind me and saw mateo standing up with a sleeping Noah in his hands "congrats , make sure to keep him happy , he deserve it " i nodded my head at him and thanked

"Should I take Noah ?" i asked mateo

"nope he is my responsibility tonight , you just have fun " i nodded my head and kissed Noah on his cheek and said goodbye to mateo who was leaving first and slowly everyone else left leaving me and kristian alone at the beach , i looked at him and smiled

" So .. what now ?" i asked kristian as i hugged and looked at his beautiful face from below him since he was really taller than me without my heels

"now my beautiful fiancé we go to the suite so you can rest because we have a long flight tomorrow " kristian said with a smirk as he bent down and swapped me of my feet again holding me in his arms again as he walked towards the car that was waiting for us , after we reached the car , kristian had the driver turn on the heater right away since i was shivering from the cold

"you should have worn a jacket !!" kristian said with a frown as he laid a small blanket on my legs

"and destroy my look , no way " i said jokingly

"it's not funny scar , your gonna catch a cold easily now "

"i am fine now , i am all warmed up " i said with a pout so he would stop scolding me

"you have become spoiled lately "

"only with you, you don't like it?"

" no i will spoil you as much as you want my principessa" kristian said with a laugh as he kissed me again gently

"thank you my love "

"for what ?"

"for bringing everyone to be here with us "

"of course i will bring them , they are our family after all "

"hmm , ours " i leaned on his shoulder as the car moved slowly on the street lolling me to deep sleep

the photographer said as i moved as he wanted me too , it has been three hours since i started posing and it was exhausting , today i was taking shoots for company's representative model , and these pictures will be the company's front ace or i don't what they call them , but what i do know is that they will be hung on the company's buildings and everywhere in the street , and what makes things worse is that lately i have been really stressed that i was barely eating or sleeping and i can't freaking wait for it to be over so i can eat and breath again

"okay that's it honey come and see them and see if you like them " James the photographer said as he walked towards the small tv , i walked slowly towards him and sat in the chair beside him as he uploaded all the photo on the tv

" i really like these two , and you should choose the others James" i said to James as i stood up and thanked him

"alright love , you go and change you must be exhausted " i nodded my head and walked away with my new assistant Isabel beside me , right when i reached my changing room I instantly collapsed on the couch barely supporting myself

"scarlet are you alright ?" Isabel ran towards me and helped me sit up straight

"yeah i am fine just tired , do you think you can bring me something to eat , i am starving " i said with a smile

"yeah right away , here drink some water " Isabel gave me the water bottle before she ran outside leaving me alone in my dressing room , i leaned on the couch and sighed , my head was dizzy and my body was sluggish , i heard my phone ring but it was to far away , i looked at it and cursed , I knew that it was kristian calling and if i don't answer he is definitely going to know something is wrong , I mustered all the power i had in me and stood up walking slowly towards my bag after a lot of struggling i finally reached the phone but my breathing was really fast and it was herd taking the breaths like normal , i sat down on the chair in front of my bag and held the phone in my hand , it started ringing again , i took a deep breath and answered but my voice didn't come out as smooth as i wanted it to be

"hello "

"hey , scar , what's wrong with your voice ?"

"no-nothing just tired " talking was hard , i could barely focus and i could already feel an asthma attack coming

"baby ? what's happening ? your scaring me " kristian was now on full panic mode

"f--fine "

"you're not fine , where is your inhaler , get it out and use it now scarlet " kristian screamed , i put him on speaker as i fumbled with my bag to find the inhaler , after a lot of searching with a barely opened eyes i finally found it , taking two deep breathes with it , I finally felt my lungs breath again

" scarlet, baby ? can you hear me ?" focusing my now not so blurry eyes on the phone, i held it in my hands again

"yeah , i can "

"good , that's good , i will be there in 15 minutes i want you to lay down and don't move " kristian frantic voice started becoming clearer , i could hear his car engine and the sounds around him , right when i was about to answer him Isabel came running into the room

"scarl..." i signalled for her to stay quiet

"love let's meet at the house , it takes the same amount of time "

"hell no ! your not driving like that " kristian screamed making both me and Isabel jump

"of course i am not, Isabel is taking me home , so let's meet in the house in 10 minutes okay "

"alright , i will see you at the house and make sure to keep your inhaler in your hand "

"i know , i love you "

"love you more mi amore " i hanged up the call and looked at Isabel with a sad smile ,

" let's go "

"yes right away " Isabel said as she came forward to help me stand up ...

it took a 10 minutes drive and i was finally home , i looked outside of the car window and saw kristian standing in the parking lot with a doctor beside him , I chuckled and took off my seat belt but before i could even reach for the door handle , the door was wide open with a frantic kristian in front of me

"hey " I smiled at him " you didn't have to actually call a doctor , I feel fine now "

"let him check on you , you have been acting weird since this morning " kristian said as he leaned down and pulled me in his arms , not letting me stand at all , after a couple of seconds i was laying on the couch of the living room with kristian by my side and the doctor checking on my vitals and noting down everything , probably for mateo

"where is mateo ? " i asked kristian

"he went to pick up Noah from school before i called you , he should be here soon "

"shit " I cursed as i tried to get up

"what are you doing , don't move scar "

"kristian Noah can't see me with a doctor , you know him he would refuse to go to school so he can stay home " kristian sighed as he pushed me down

"don't worry about it , I will talk to him you just rest " right when kristian stopped talking the front door opened and two small feet came running with a big laughter

"mommy , Noah is home " I chuckled

"mommy ?" when Noah saw us in the living room his smiling face turned instantly into a frown , I smiled at him to show him i was okay , but it wasn't working , right behind him came mateo who was holding a small school bag in his hand but when he saw the doctor his carefree smile went out of the window , he held Noah's hand and pulled him away , whispering something in his ear and sending him away with Claire who was waiting for him at the kitchen's door

"what's going on ?" mateo asked as he walked towards the doctor and took the chart from him

" I had a small asthma attack and kristian made a big deal out of it " I sighed as the doctor took the pressure machine of my hand

" it doesn't look like a small attack scar " mateo said with a scold making me pout at him

"don't scold a sick person "

"you deserve it , you heart rate is totally off , your oxygen level is really low , and your eyes are out of focus and your body temp is basically freezing , and you have sings of stress all over you " mateo said with a frown making me stop smiling and kristian stand sternly above my head with the coldest face i have ever seen

"let's get you on an IV drop first and after that you, eat , rest and then we talk " mateo said as he helped the doctor to put the Iv drops on me and the heart monitor , the stinging pain of the needle made me more aware of how mad mateo is , I didn't even want to imagine what kristian is going to be like , after a couple of minutes the doctor left , and mateo went to bring me a blanket to warm me up . leaving me all alone with kristian who was still coldly staring at the wall beside me .

"baby? " I called for him gently but he was ignoring me , i tried again but of no use i wasn't getting a response

"are you really not gonna talk to me , it's not like i wanted to fall sick you know " I said this time louder but still , nothing

"kristian please talk to me , i can't handle it when you treat me like this "

"oh really ? and you think i can handle it when i know that you are sick ? or when i hear you on the phone barely breathing ? or do you think i can handle it when i know that the person i love is in stress but i don't know why ?" kristian screamed as he paced around in the room

"i already said i am sorry ..."

"sorry isn't enough scarlet " I felt my body shiver is kristian said to me coldly , the heart monitor beside me started beeping loudly as tears streamed down my face , the once small cry now turned into a full hysteria as i sobbed and hiccupped , barely taking any breathes in , kristian came running towards me holding me up so i can lean on him

"hey , baby , I am sorry , i didn't mean it like this. please calm down , come one please breath , breath babe "

"what happened , i was gone for a second " mateo said as he brought me a glass of water and some tissues

" i - am -sor-ry , i didn't mean to..." with every word i said a hiccup escaped me too , but i wasn't crying because of what just happened , i was crying for what has been happening for weeks , kristian patted my back and tried to sooth my cries down as he whispered in my ear calming words , after a couple of minutes i had finally let out all the stress i had been holding inside and i had basically no more tears to cry , i looked at kristian who was staring at me guilty and mateo who was rubbing his temples while he sat in his chair

"i am sorry "

"stop apologising " kristian said as he wiped my tears with the tips of his fingers " i am the one who should apologise , i shouldn't have made you sad , specially when your already sick "

i shook my head like a child " no i wasn't crying because of that , or at least not entirely because of that "

"what do yo..." before kristian could finish talking mateo interrupted him with a pat on his shoulder

"stop talking both of . kristian, scarlet needs rest and food , after that we talk "

"mommy , i brought you soup , uncle said that you catch a cold " Noah said as he walked i with Claire behind him holding a tray in her hands , i smiled at Noah

" yup , but i am okay now since Noah is here, and it's caught baby not catch " i smiled as Noah ran towards me and jumped on me for a hug

"carful of the Iv drops " mateo screamed as kristian pulled Noah away to warn him about the needle.

after a lot of talking about Noah's day at school , i was finally able to coax him to go do his homework with Claire , it was already 4 o'clock and the Iv drop had finally finished , mateo removed all the equipment and sat them on the table , he took a seat beside me and kristian sat under my legs with a blanket over us

"scar , would you please tell me what's going on ?" kristian asked me gently with concern in his eyes

I took a deep breath and stared at my phone that was thrown at the table , i swallowed once and the pain struck me again , the pain of the first time i saw the message

"scar...?"
