scarlet's pov: 

I looked at kristian surprised with shook all over my face ,' what the hell was that supposed to mean ' I felt my whole face blush as he looked back at me with a smirk 

" Come on let's go in ..." I nodded my head as kristian pulled me inside with him , my eyes turned wide as I took in how beautiful the place was , it was decorated with a classic golden theme , on some walls there was information about 'knights company and the family history ' and some other walls had pictures of the orphanages that we are gonna donate for , everything around me took my breath away at how simple and elegant it was , i felt kristian nudge me a bit so i will move when I stopped all of a sudden , but what I failed to notice first was the thousand eyes that were on me , or us to be more specific

People were whispering to each other , some of them talking about how shocking it is to see someone with kristian , and some where envying me for being with him , and some women even sent me glances of daggers probably wishing that i didn't exist , the whispering was getting louder as we reached the table that we will be using 

"God people can talk "I heard a sneer come from the table and when i looked i saw Adam , jack , mason , and mateo sitting all together , the scene was just dazzling , this table looked like it had gods descending from heaven to role the humble earth ,I took a deep breath and smiled at the guys as kristian helped pull the chair for me , i sent him a grateful smile and sat down 

"Hi guys..." 

"You look gorgeous scar " jack was beaming at me as he looked me up and down 

" Gorgeous is not even enough to tell you how good you look " Adam continued making me blush even more , i heard a growl beside me making me jump , i saw kristian glaring at the guys in front of us 

"She is mine " i heard him say as he pulled me even closer to him , all of a sudden i heard the four guys laugh out loud as i held back a giggle myself , i leaned closer and kissed Kristian's cheek with a smile , i lingered beside his ear as i whispered 

"All yours ..." 

"Come one guys seriously no PDA please it's gross " mason said as he smacked jack across his head 

"aw, why the hell are you hitting me ??" 

"well i can't hit kristian can i ?" 

"you will be six feet under " kristian said smugly as he helped me fill my glass with water , for the next hour everyone just continued having fun , talking and listing to the simple jazz in the background , while we were eating Kristian's assistant came over to tell him that he has to go and give his speech , kristian kissed my cheek and smiled 

"i am up , your gonna be next , right after i finish , okay? " i nodded my head with a smile , kristian left the table leaving me with the guys , i looked at mason and he was looking at me back 

"are you ready scar , this is the moment ?" 

"yeah , i can't be more ready "

"good then let's go " i stood up and said bye to the guys as they wished me luck , after that me and mason walked towards the backstage were the band was standing , i said hello to everyone and walked to my spot , we were already standing behind the curtains of the stage , i stood right in the middle were i will walk to the mic the moment the curtains go up , mason and my make up assistant helped fix my makeup and my dress 

" don't forget scar , wait for the moment the curtains are opening and start walking as you sing the first note , the band will go out before you to stand behind their instruments , keep your eyes in the middle of the hall as you begin " 

"i know " i nodded my head with a determined look , this is my moment , i am gonna make my friends proud , i am gonna make myself proud 

"okay , kristian is finishing his speech , good luck " mason said as he ran behind the stage , were he stood there smiling at me and waving with my assistant , i took a deep breath in as i closed my eyes and waited for my cue 

"thank you so much for all your donations , and for supporting our company , and now for our next stage , we have the most amazing and beautiful talent that knight corporation have found and the person who has been supporting me blindly for the last couple of months , i am honoured to welcome 

'Ava ' " 

the moment kristian stopped talking i heard the band start playing the first note , and like a scene out of magical movie the curtains started opening , making me blinded with the lights , i took a steady steps towards the stage and swayed my hips as i sang the lyrics that have become one with me in the last couple of years

as i reached the middle of the stage and my eyes were staring at the guests with confidence , everyone was staring at me with wide eyes , some were taking pictures and some were just staring with open jaws , and in the middle of them all , there he stood looking at me with the most beautiful smile ever , and god did it make me feel that i owned the world

i Finally stopped being nervous and started living my song , i wanted everyone to understand how important this song is and this charity and i planed to pour all my emotions out in public , i am free , the next part of the song was a high one , so i took a deep breath and walked across the stage as i let the notes out as much as possible

i looked around and found people looking at me with bewildered eyes , and i felt even more happy , they are hearing me , my voice is being heard

4 minutes, that's all it took for me to realize that my dream has just become true , my song has just finished , and the all the audience were silent , you could drop a pen and you would hear the sound , i looked around and saw the guys standing beside kristian all of them having the biggest smiles ever , and in Kristian's eyes i found some unshed tears , i looked at him and saw him mouthing some words , i tried to focus on them and snap out of the adrenaline rush that came over me , and the words he said made me smile in ecstasy 

" you are here, i am proud of you " 

i smiled at him and mouthed thank you , but the moment i calmed down , the sea of cheers and applause came from all around , the people were screaming , some of them in tears and some in smiles , i took a step back and smiled at everyone and gave them a small bow , thanking them deeply in my heart for being here and listening to my song ...

and that's how my first stage was 

just like a dream 

but ... this time round it was a reality
