《Moonlight ✔︎》Chapter 35

The first three periods flew quickly, and it then became my favourite part of the day.

Lunch.

I was walking out of class with Ian when he started telling me about his latest hookup.

"Who is this guy though, you haven't mentioned his name?" I ask him confused.

He gives me a nervous look before moving his gaze to the double doors we were approaching.

"When I tell you, don't freak out." He says seriously.

I look at him weirdly.

"Who is i-

Someone called Ian's name, and my question was chopped off.

When we both turn around, we are greeted by none other than Lycian.

He approaches Ian and puts his arm around his waist.

As everything came together, my eyes widened.

"Oh my god," I let out a gasp as I stare at them both.

Ian had an unreadable expression on his face, while Lycian looked at me puzzled.

"That's who!" I exclaim with delight.

Lycian must have realised something because he gave me a lopsided grin.

"Hm, your football friend here is quite skilled with the ball, isn't he?" Lycian says looking at Ian.

Ian's face coats with a blush as he looks at me wide-eyed.

Lycian chuckles and walks into the lunchroom with Ian, leaving me trailing behind.

I say to Ian as he passes me that he should tell me everything later.

He nods and focuses back on Lycian.

I walk towards the lunch area and silently wait in line.

I stared blankly at the back of the person in front of me until I recognised them.

"Francis?" I ask.

He turns around and stares at me blankly.

"Yes?" He answers.

I roll my eyes at his attitude.

"You know, if you wanna be friends maybe you should be a bit nicer." I say casually.

"Who said I wanted to be friends with you?"

I scoff and flip my hair over my shoulder.

"Who wouldn't." I say sarcastically.

This makes him laugh, and I smile with satisfaction as I make progress.

"Guess we can be, don't wanna be on bad terms with the neighbours." He says casually as he moves up the line.

"No, you don't." I tell him.

He smirks at me before telling the lunch lady what he wanted.

After she gave it to him, he briefly turned to me and nodded.

"See you around." He says and walks away.

After I grabbed a water bottle and some fries I stroll over to my table, where Miya and a few others are seated.

I sit down next to Miya and put the bag of fries between us.

Miya and I start conversing, having conversations about all sorts of things.

After a brief period of time, my thoughts had returned to Angel this morning.

I was almost shivering just thinking about his enraged self this morning.

I lifted my head from the table and turned my direction towards his table.

My eyes scrutinized the members, but my gaze didn't see what I was hoping to spot.

"Looking for your boy?" Miya asks from beside me.

I peer my eyes away, turning towards Miya confused.

"He's outside, I think." She informs me.

I nod my head and rise from my seat, making my way to the doors leading to our outside seating area. However, due to the cold, no one was ever out there.

Goosebumps appear on my skin as the frigid wind whips against my flesh.

Only the sound of the wind howling and the slight paddling of my feet moving could be heard as the door behind me shuts.

My eyes sweep the enclosed area for any signs of Angel.

Fortunately, I had discovered him pushed up against the chipped wall, a cigarette in his mouth, and a fire in his eyes as he watched the tree blow furiously in front of him.

I slowly walk over to him, keeping my steps light and easy.

"Angel?" I whisper out softly.

As I speak, his jaw visibly tightens, and I come to a halt beside him, leaning against the wall. My nostrils had caught a whiff of his immensely captivating scent, which I had already grown accustomed to.

My gaze shifts away from the ground beneath me and up towards his tall stature, diverging to his chilly yet heavenly features.

As he exhaled the smoke, his gaze flickered slightly, and he then dropped the bud and walked on it with his shoe.

His body appeared to be much more relaxed now, and he laid his head against the wall, his gaze shifting to me.

My cheeks flushed from being caught looking at him, so I turned away.

As I shuffled on my feet, my bottom lip slid between my teeth, and my arms began to shiver slightly in response to the cold.

Because, Daisy, leaving your hoodie in your locker is a fantastic idea on this particular extra cold day.

A red hoodie is flung in front of my eyes, cutting off my thoughts.

Angel responds by rolling his eyes and pulling the hoodie over my head as I raise my eyebrows at him.

I huff and pull my arms through as he pulls it down my body.

My heart flutters slightly, I look down at the red comfy fabric and look back up at him with a smile.

He wasn't looking at me; instead, his gaze was drawn to the sidewalk, which he glared at with his light eyes.

"Aren't you going to be cold?" I ask him with concern.

He glances at me and looks away shaking his head.

I randomly click my tongue and lean against his side, his body tenses up and then relaxes, as if someone touching him is something he isn't used to.

"You okay?" I ask looking up at him.

When his harsh eyes meet mine, the glare fades but the emptiness remains.

He remains silent, silently staring into my eyes as if looking for something in them.

"I am now." He answers quietly staring into my eyes.

A small smile appears on my lips as I cast my eyes away from him.

The shrilling sound of the school bell rung, sighing I leant off of his side and shoved my hands into the warm depths of his hoodie pockets.

"We have class together now, can you come in with me?" I ask him hopefully.

He leans off the wall and nods.

I turn around and hold the doors open for us both.

He pulls the door from my hold and steps inside after me, he thanks me with a nod.

We walk side by side, heading through the storm of students, as we go through them, the teens automatically part ways for us as if it were a natural reaction.

Angel and I made it to the classroom doors, where he unlocked them for me and I stepped in, with him following close after we took our normal places in the back.

I take a seat in the chair closest to the window, and Angel takes a seat beside me.

My chair is suddenly dragged all the way over to him.

I smile as I look up at him, then shake my head and return my focus to the front.

I opened my bag up and took out my book and pen, opening the book to a blank page.

I subconsciously start to doodle in the book, drawing random things.

Angel's hand comes around my waist protectively and I look down, puzzled, at where his arm is resting.

My gaze shifts to his and then notice Angel's eyes fixed on something in front of us.

His face was expressionless, and he wore a glare straight at the person or thing he was fixated on.

When I went over to see where he was staring, I was greeted by Francis sitting in the corner towards the front of the class.

Francis's eyes were already fixed on me, so I smiled and gave him a tiny wave.

He gave me a blank expression before nodding his head at me and turning away.

"How come you're killing him with your eyes?" I ask.

He rolls his gorgeous eyes and looks down at me.

"He was practically undressing you with his eyes, moonlight."

I look at him weirdly.

"Are you sure? I'm pretty sure he finds me annoying." I tell him honestly.

Angel scoffs and looks away from me.

"Know him?" Angel asks.

"I only met him today, he's my new neighbour." I inform him.

He nods and starts playing with my hand randomly.

The teacher walked into the class, starting on her very uninteresting lesson.

I sink into Angel's hoodie's warmth right away, catching the aroma of smoke and mint mixed with his usual addictive cologne.

"You should know your not getting this back." I tell him.

He hums as he stares absently at his fingers, continuing to trace random patterns on my thigh.

My mind is immediately invaded by recollections of Saturday night with him, and I am reminded of what he had done with me.

As I recall the sensation he gave me, my body tingles and butterflies erupt in my tummy.

I felt my face heat up as I remembered the incident, and I shook my head to clear my mind.

"What's the matter?" Angel inquires, his lips brushing across my neck as he leans against my shoulder.

"Nothing." I answer quietly.

Slowly, his lips brush against the side of my neck, delicately nipping each spot.

My body trembles at the contact, and my eyes flutter closed.

"Daisy, are you sure?" I felt my panties heat up instantly as he asked huskily.

Because my body was melting from his contact, I could only hum gently in response.

He brushes his lips against my jaw, then the corner of my mouth, and finally my lips.

As I open my lips for him, he pressed his against them.

Our lips form an instantaneous bond, gradually melding together.

His hand moved slowly up my leg, his fingers brushing against the gentle skin and pure tingles that ran up my spine.

At that point, I realised we were in class.

I drew back from him, smugly smiling against his lips.

"We're in class, Angel." I inform him.

I felt him smirk under my skin as he leans his head in my neck.

"So?" He says nothing.

I take a deep breath and lean against the window, watching Angel's steady breathing.

It was left like this for the rest of the class.

The bell had finally rung and I couldn't have been happier.
