《Moonlight ✔︎》Chapter 34

"Okay guys, I totally ship this but can you not make out in the fùcking kitchen."

They pulled away from each other instantly.

Miya looked at me wide-eyed while Tyson scratched the back of his head looking at his shoes.

I just stared at them amusedly.

They look so uncomfortable this is hilarious.

"Hello," I say waving my hand at their silent figures.

"Um, I can explain," Miya says.

"Guys, I'm not upset I could care less, to be honest, if Miya wasn't dating that asshòle before I totally would have had you guys go out or something." I say seriously.

Tyson shrugs and smirks, completely unaffected.

"Well, that makes me feel better." He says clasping his hands.

Miya looks at me unsure, but I nod at her telling her to follow me upstairs.

She nods and walks up with me.

We make it to the room and I shut the door closed as she sits on my bed.

I walk over to her as she apologises, but I wrap my arms around her stopping her.

"You don't need to apologise, you can't help who you're attracted to Miya, plus the tension between you two has always been visible."

"It was bound to happen," I told her shrugging my shoulders.

She grins at me and hugs me tightly again.

"Okay enough about me, how was it."

I fill her in on the date, obviously leaving out the whole 'he finger fùcked me' thing.

For the rest of the night, we watched movies until we were too tired to continue.

It was now Sunday evening, Miya had gone home early this morning which left me to do nothing all day.

"Tyson?" I yelled out.

"What!" He yells back.

"Nothing just wanted to see if you were home." I shout.

I giggle to myself and go back to my room.

I plop down onto my bed and stare up at the ceiling getting lost in my thoughts.

I hadn't heard from Angel all day, though it didn't stop him from invading my thoughts.

Angel had this sort of aurora around him, it held confidence, power and intimidation, making anyone or anything instantly obey him.

Angel was known for his certain anger, and I had yet to witness it.

I got cut out of my thoughts by the sound of a large truck.

I frowned and looked outside of my window.

There was a large moving truck in the house next doors driveway.

Hm, new neighbours.

I shrug and walk out of my room, heading towards Tyson's office.

I knocked before opening the door, Tyson sat in his chair while he wrote roughly on the paper that laid on the wooden desk.

He looked up at me and raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, child?"

"We've got new neighbours," I inform him.

In a quick second, he bolts out of his seat and scrambles out the door nearly tripping me over in the process.

"The fùck?" I mumble scrambling after him.

He opens the front door and peeks his head out, looking over to the neighbour's house.

I go behind him and peek my head out as well.

There was a silver Audi sitting just in front of the moving truck, the house doors were open and the moving men were placing all the furniture inside the house.

Just as we both leant away a girl who looked about Tyson's age and a boy who looked my age came out of the house, the boy seemed to be arguing with the girl.

"Drama..." Tyson grins.

"Shush." I say smacking his shoulder as we watch the boy hold the finger up at the girl as he got into a car and drove off.

The girl storms back into the house as the car speeds down the street.

"Great, guess our street is about to get more exciting." Tyson says as he leans away and rolls his eyes.

I giggle and shut the doors.

I turn to Tyson who is heading back to his office.

"Am I cooking tonight?" I ask him.

He holds his thumb up in the air as he walks into the office and slams it closed.

I sigh and walk into the kitchen looking around the pantries and fridge to make anything.

I found nothing so I decided to just order pizza instead.

I called up and ordered our pizza's and then went up to shower.

After showering I ate dinner with Tyson as we binged Stranger Things and talked nonsense.

Not long after that, we had fallen asleep and the next day arrived quickly.

I got up in my usual grumpy morning mood and brushed my teeth, getting dressed and then packing for school.

Tyson had left early for work so I had to drive today.

I grabbed Tyson's keys and then made my way out of the house.

After locking the front doors I turned and walked down my stairs.

The sound of a loud door slamming closed made me jolt my head up.

The boy from yesterday had just gotten out of his house, I took a good look at him, he had black messy hair and was light-skinned and quite tall, probably standing at a good 6'3.

A scowl was placed on the boy's face as he glared at the path beneath him.

He was wearing all black attire, instantly reminding me of Angel.

I shook my head and walked over to him.

Might as well be on good terms with the neighbours.

"Hey," I call out.

He looks over at me, his green eyes glare at me and I felt my eyes widen the slightest.

"Are you heading to Lakewood High?" I ask him as I shove my hands into my jumper pockets.

He stares at me for a while, briefly looking over me before nodding.

"Yeah, why?" He asks, his voice had a British accent making me assume he might've moved here from England.

"Um, I'm heading there too, your new right?" I ask him, shifting on my feet.

"Yeah, just moved." He says looking away from me.

"Well, I'm Daisy, if you need any help settling in, you can come to me." I told him giving him a small smile.

He nods his head and starts walking to his car.

"Thanks." He says and unlocks it.

"What's yours?"

He rolls his eyes and leans against the door.

"What's my what?" He asks irritated.

"Your name." I say in an obvious tone.

He's silent for a while as if to contemplate whether to tell me or not.

"Francis." He answers monotonously and then gets into the car before speeding down the street.

I smile and nod at myself for making a new friend.

He's a moody bítch but guess he'll do for a neighbour friend.

I get into my car and head straight towards school.

I park my car in the school parking lot and get out.

I silently stroll into the school doors, slinging my bag over my shoulder.

As I marched straight to my locker, I kept my sight fixed on it. Once I had reached it, I gathered all of my belongings and slammed the locker door shut.

Just as I was about to walk over to my class the school doors slam open, making everyone's eyes go wide.

Angel walks in, fuming, with a murderous look on his face. He sent his cold glare on anyone that had their eyes on him.

Drake, Lycian and Elio were behind him silently following as they walked confidently.

He came strolling down the halls, my back was pressed up against a locker as he walked past me, not sparing me a glance as his eyes were strained on anyone in front of him.

His eyes were dark and menacing sending shivers down my spine, If I had to guess, he was very angry.

I shrug it off and make my way to my class as the bell went off.

I sighed angrily as I realised my class was all the way on the opposite side of the school, my lazy aśs couldn't be bothered.

I strolled through the virtually empty corridors when my eyes caught sight of Lycian and Francis shaking hands before Francis walking away.

There friends?

Just as I was about to walk away Lycian calls out my name.

I turn to him and smile.

"Hey, Lycian."

"Hey, sugar." He says smirking at me.

I roll my eyes at the nickname.

"Shouldn't you be in class?"

"Yeah, I was just heading there now." I tell him.

He nods his head and gets off the locker.

"I'll walk you." He says and I nod walking with him towards the doors.

"Um, can I ask you something?" I ask him.

He nods as he shoves his hands in his pockets.

"What was wrong with Angel this morning?"

Lycian shrugs and looks at the path below us.

"His dad pissed him off."

"Really? What happened?" I ask with concern.

"To be honest, I wasn't paying attention, but I know Angel came close to shooting him, but his mother intervened in time. He has to go to therapy or something for his anger, I swear." Lycian says the last part muttering.

I frowned with concern.

"Don't worry, sugar; you can ask him for yourself, but I'd wait until he's calmed down. When he's like that, we all stay away from him, mostly to prevent getting shot in the head." Lycian informs me as we approach my classroom.

I nod my head and look up at him.

"Thanks, Lycian." I tell him and pat his shoulder.

"No worries." He winks at me before turning away.

I open the classroom doors and make my way in, taking my normal seat in the far corner.
