《Moonlight ✔︎》Chapter 3

Classes flew by fast and eventually it was time for lunch.
I walked down the school halls and headed straight towards the cafeteria doors.
I pulled them open and was greeted with the loud shrieks of teens chatting.
My friends were all sat at a table, talking and eating.
I made my way over and smiled at them all.
"Daisy !" My friend Ian yelled happily.
I giggled at his excitement and went over to sit next to him.
He patted the seat next to him as I sat down.
He kissed the side of my head and wrapped his arm over my shoulder.
"I've missed you" He says pouting.
I laugh and shake my head at him.
"It's been two days, Ian." I tell him.
He shrugs and takes a bunch of fries into his hands.
"That's too long." He says.
I smile up at him and then decide to talk to everyone.
Lunch went by fast, everything seemed to be the same as usual.
The bell eventually had rung and everyone was packing up and leaving.
I walked with Miya and Ian towards our classes.
Unfortunately I didn't have any classes with them right now.
I said goodbye to my two friends as I entered my maths class.
I went over to my regular seat in the far back.
I sat down and placed my bag on the floor next to me.
I sunk down in my seat and stared blankly at the wall, zoning out completely.
The class filled up quickly and the teacher had arrived soon after.
Just as the class started, the classroom door opened.
Drake and Elio walked into the class, ignoring the teachers comments on how they were late.
They made their way to the back, right near where I sat.
I looked away from them and started to draw random things in my book.
I felt the seat next to me move as somebody sat down.
I looked to my left and saw none other than Elio sit next to me.
He wasn't looking at me though he was looking straight at the front.
I saw that Drake had also taken a seat behind me.
I look away and frown to myself slightly confused.
I've hardly ever seen them in this class, they would usually ditch or just wonder around the school.
I paid no attention to it as the teacher started the class.
20 minutes went by and I was honestly bored out of my mind.
Suddenly, I feel somebody tap my shoulder.
I look to my left and see Elio staring at me.

"You got a pen ?" He asked me, his eyes staring into my soul quite literally.
I nodded and looked away from him nearly shivering at the intensity.
I grabbed a black pen and handed it to him.
He nodded at me in thanks and I sighed closing my eyes and leaning my head against the table.
The sound of the shrilling bell woke me up and I groaned in annoyance.
I lazily grabbed my bag and slung it over my shoulder walking out of the class.
I walked through the crowd of students heading straight towards the school doors.
My phone started ringing just as I got outside.
I pulled it out and answered.
"Hello." I greet.
"Hey, I can't pick you up today. Can you get one of your friends to ?" Tyson says on the other line.
"Yeah that's fine. I think you need to buy me a car, this whole ditching me for work thing, isn't going to work every time."I tell him.
He laughs and I could just see him rolling his eyes on the other side of the phone.
"Just use the other one I own." He says.
I snort and hang up.
I look around for any of my friends but find none.
I slump my head back and groan knowing my lazy ass has to walk home.
I started my journey as I walked outside of the school gates.
Not to long after I finally had made it home just as it started to rain.
My town was known for it's rain. It was literally always cold and wet here.
Sort of like the town in twilight.
Though I loved the rain, it made me happy.
I opened my front door, and walked into the quiet house.
I locked it shut and walked upstairs.
Entering my room, I placed my bag down on the floor and then went back down to the kitchen.
My stomach started to grumble and I patted it.
"I'll feed you now." I say.
I looked through all our cabinet's and found literally nothing.
I rolled my eyes at the lack of shopping we've done.
I take out some cash from our cash draw and put it in my wallet.
I grab the car keys and make my way over to Tysons second car.
I get in and drive out of the drive way.
I drive through the foggy rain and make my way to the supermarket.
Once I had arrived, I looked for a parking spot and found one next to a sleek black range rover.
I parked and got out of the car, pulling my hood over my head and running through the rain.

I sighed as I made it inside and grabbed a trolley.
I walked through the aisle's grabbing everything that we needed.
Just as I passed an aisle my eyes caught a familiar pair of grey eyes.
Angel was talking to a man who seemed to be dressed in black clothing.
Angel was glaring at him with emotionless eyes, as the short man handed him money.
The man nodded at Angel before walking past him and down the asile.
Angel counted the money skilfully in his hands, before tucking it in his back pocket.
Just as he was going to turn and walk away his eyes caught mine.
My eyes widened and I turned away from him, pushing my trolley away.
Unfortunately for me my dumbass trolley decided to be stuck in its spot.
"Fùcking piece of shít." I mumbled angrily to the trolley.
I mentally cried of embarrassment as I felt Angel walk behind me and around the trolley.
I watched his foot move up the brake from the bottom of the trolley, as I didn't noice that was what was keeping it still.
His veiny hand rested on the end of the trolley making unexpected butterflies course through my belly.
I trailed my eyes up the hand as they went up his tatted, very muscular arm.
My breath hitches as my eyes find his.
His intensifying eyes were on me.
His jaw was clenched and his grey blueish eyes were looking into my own.
I gulped as I took in his height, never noticing it before, he stood at a height of 6'5.
I never considered myself to be short but next to him, I looked like a goddamn ant.
"Angel." I whisper out looking up at him with wide eyes.
His eyes never leave mine as he walks around the trolley in quick strides.
I stepped back as my back hit a wall.
He got closer to me, until he was only standing inches away from my body.
He licked his lips and leant his head down to my level resting a hand against the wall behind me.
"How much did you see, moonlight?" He asks me, as he looks at my lips tilting his head.
His diamond stud on his ear, glinted under the light, catching my attention before I returned my gaze to his eyes.
"Nothing." I answer quietly.
His eyes glance from my lips to my eyes and I nearly melt at the intense look in them.
"Are you sure ?" He says tracing his index finger down the side of my cheek.
I close my eyes as an overwhelming good feeling made it's way through my body.
I immensely nod my head in an answer.
He stares into my eyes a little longer before pulling away.
My breathing came back as my heartbeat slowly went back to its normal pace.
Angel stood tall as he looked down at me.
Just as he was about to say something, someone behind him called his name.
My eyes went to the person only to see, Drake Greyson.
"They're ready." Is all he says as Angel turns to him.
Angel nods his head once, as he dismisses Drake.
Before walking away, Drake looks at Angel and I with curious eyes before turning to the exit.
I sigh and shake my head pulling my trolley over to the register.
I didn't turn to see if Angel was still there.
"That'll be $67.80" The man says.
I take out my wallet but I stop when a card gets handed over.
I snap my head to the person only to see Angel staring blankly at the man.
"What are you doing ?" I ask him confused.
He rolls his gorgeous eyes and takes the card back from the man.
"What do you think ?" He says motonously.
I stare at him dumbfounded.
He takes the bags and walks away from me heading straight towards the exit.
I stumble behind him trying to catch up with him.
He turns to me as we make it outside.
"Car ?" He asks me, coldly.
I point to my one and he nods walking over to it.
I walk with him until he makes it to my car.
I unlock the car and he places the bags in the back seat for me, and I stand there like an idiot watching him.
He closes the door and leans against it looking right at me.
His hands were shoved in his pockets, his hair falling down his forehead as he looked straight at me, blankly.
"Thank you, you didn't have too." I say motioning to the groceries.
He shrugs, looking away from me now.
"I'll see you around, moonlight." He says as he walks to the car beside mine.
He gets in, and I now just realise that the black range rover was his.
I get into my own car and sit down, letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.
I started the car and made my way home, only with one particular boy on my mind.
