"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

Sunday wasn't a very eventful day for you. You had spent most of the day just watching a few movies, ignoring all the texts and phone calls you were receiving. You weren't in the mood to talk to anyone.
On Monday, you weren't feeling like going to school whatsoever, and so after much convincing to your aunt, you were able to stay home.
You were currently sitting in the kitchen, slowly nibbling away at your breakfast. You took a glance at your phone, and you were thinking about turning it off again. You didn't need another day of Todoroki and Uraraka trying to reach out to you. Midoriya was a bit more persistent, calling literally every five minutes and even threatening in a voicemail that he would stand outside of your house all day if you didn't answer. Still, you didn't.
You decided that you would switch off your phone. However, just as you were planning to do so, you received a notification. From an unknown number. With the words 'where the fuck are you'.
You blinked dumbly at the unfamiliar number, unlocking your phone and entering the chatroom between you two. You sent a reply: 'Who the frick are you?'
You waited a little bit before realising you weren't going to get a reply. Sighing, you left your phone on the bench, not bothering to switch it off before moving to the sink, washing up your dishes before drying them and putting them away.
School would start soon, so you were bound to get your morning spam of messages any moment now.
Your thoughts were cut off when your phone started ringing. You looked over at your phone and wasn't at all surprised to see Midoriya's contact name on the screen. Sighing, you decided to answer. You couldn't just sit around and avoid your problems. Especially if Midoriya was being so persistent about trying to talk to you.
Accepting the call, you place it on speaker before saying, "'Sup."
"(Y/N)-CHAN!" You jumped at his loud exclamation, beginning to feel guilty as you heard his relieved tone. Maybe you were just being a little shit on Saturday. Midoriya was having fun with his soulmate, and you couldn't expect him to pay attention to you all the time. There wasn't any need for the way you acted that day.

"Hey, Izuku." You said, opening the cupboard door and searching through it for something to eat. Not because you were hungry, but because you could.
"I'm so happy you picked up! Please tell me what's wrong, we've all been worried sick!"
You frowned at that statement. "'All'?"
"Yeah! Kaminari and Mina asked me not even five minutes ago where you were and got worried when I couldn't give a direct answer. Uraraka has had the same worried look on her face since she walked in, and even though Iida said that you're probably just ill, I can see that his leg won't stop bouncing up and down. EVEN KACCHAN ASKED WHERE YOU WERE! By the way, I was forced to give him your number. I'm sorry, I just got so scared he would blow my face off–"
"Izuku!" You exclaimed, cutting him off. He stopped talking, and you heard the little squeak on the other line. You sighed, "It's okay. Please, don't worry about it. Just let them know I'm staying home for the day. I'm just a bit exhausted. Thank you for worrying about me."
"It's okay. You're my best friend, (Y/N)-chan. I'm going to worry about you when I don't hear from you for even a day. We're all just concerned."
You smiled at the phone, even though he couldn't see it, appreciating all the love you had received. "Thanks, Izuku-kun. I'll talk to you later, yeah?"
"Okay. Oh, by the way, maybe have a chat with Todoroki. I'm not sure what happened between you two on Saturday, but he seems really out of it. He hasn't spoken a single word all morning. I tried talking to him and he was just staring at his phone."
You pursed your lips before nodding your head and saying, "Okay, I'll text him."
"Promise me."
You frowned at the sudden demand. "What?"
"Promise me you will actually talk to him. Trust me, he seems to be thinking a lot. Can you promise me you'll talk to him? You guys really need to mend your relationship."
You ran a hand over your face in exasperation, not wanting to upset your best friend. "Alright, alright, I promise. I'll talk to him this afternoon."
"Okay. School is about to start. Enjoy your day off. Tell me what's wrong later, okay?"
You smiled at the screen again, nodding your head before replying, "Okay, Izuku. Talk to you later. Love you."

"Love you too, (Y/N)-chan!" And with that, you ended the call, sighing as you banged your head on the kitchen counter. You really didn't want to talk to Todoroki at all. You were kind of hoping that you could just avoid him for the rest of your life and only come together for that legendary bullshit you guys need to do. But alas, you could not. Because Izuku was a little bean, and you would die if you hurt him in any way.
"Fucking hell." You mumbled to yourself before plopping on the couch and groaning into the cushion.

It was the end of the day, and you knew school hours had ended. You were staring at the screen of your phone, sitting directly in the middle of your living room. You were scared. You really didn't want to talk to him.
Earlier on that day, you had discovered that the unknown number was in fact Bakugou. Not because you guys chatted even further, but because he sent you one last message saying: 'You little shit. Prepare to fail, loser, because at this rate you're going to. Don't skip classes like an idiot.'
In which you replied: 'Whatevs, Mom.'
You hadn't received a reply after that, which made you laugh as you pictured Bakugou throwing his phone in rage.
But now that was the least of your problems, your finger hovering over the call button next to Todoroki's contact. You breathed in deeply, preparing yourself for the awkwardness before hitting the button, putting the call on speaker and shuffling away, trying to create as much distance as possible.
It rang a few times, and you were hoping with all your might (hah) that he wouldn't pick up. However, your heart sank as the ringing was replaced with his voice. "Hello?"
You didn't say anything for a few seconds, having prepared nothing. So you just went with the first thing your mouth would blab out: "'SUP, BRO?!"
What the fuck was that?
You could tell he was thrown off a bit, because it took him a few seconds to reply, "Uh, yeah, hello. Can we talk?"
You gulped nervously. You smacked yourself in the face, shaking your head at your behaviour. Why were you being so weird about this? "Uh, yeah. I was kind of hoping we could as well." Lies. "That's kind of why I called." You called because you made a promise to your best friend that you would.
"It's okay, you don't need to act like you called on your own accord. I overheard Midoriya's phone call with you."
You sighed before nodding your head. "Okay. You're right. I'm sorry."
"Don't apologise. Things have been rather uncomfortable between us lately, and I was going to call you anyway to see if we could talk about it. I think it's time we do."
You hated that he was more responsible than you. You felt like a complete and utter child talking to him. "Uh, yeah."
"Okay, that's good. Midoriya is giving me the directions to your house now."
"WAIT, WHAT?"
"I'm sorry, (Y/N)-chan!" You heard the distant voice of Midoriya, and you assumed that Todoroki put his phone on speaker so they could both talk to you.
"Like hell you are! You're going to die tomorrow, you know that?!" You didn't mean any of it, but you didn't know how else to react.
"It's very clear who you've grown up with, (L/N)-san." Todoroki commented.
"How so?"
"Yo-You sounded like Kacchan just then." Midoriya commented, and you sighed before rubbing your temples and apologising.
"It's okay. Midoriya just left, so I'm on my way." Todoroki said, causing your heart to leap out of your chest in panic.
"Wa-Wait, now?"
"Yes, now."
"Oh, okay. Well, uh, see you then, hahaHAhaA."
Why were you like this?
He bid his goodbyes before hanging up, and as soon as he did, you sprinted to your room, trying to get dressed into something more appropriate than your gross pyjamas that you hadn't bothered to change out of. Quickly throwing on something that was decent looking but still comfortable enough, you chucked your pyjamas in the wash. You would have to wear some old clothes to bed or something.
You were just closing the laundry door when you heard the knock on the front door, causing you to freeze in your movements.
Here went nothing.

I Want You to Remember Me
A simple romantic tale of a... girl meeting a... boy. Trust and love both take time to grow, but growing together is also a lot of fun. A handful of disclaimers and claims: First, this is fan fiction, set in the “Amaranthine Saga” universe written by Forthright. The story and characters, on the other hand, are wholly my own (fault). I highly encourage you to read the stories from the “Amaranthine Saga” before reading this; the latter half of this story will make a whole lot more sense if you do. Second, this is a relatively short and stand-alone story. The completed story should clock in around 10,000 words, so please do not expect a novel, let alone a series. Third, while this is a romantic story, I’ve never been a fan of the usual romance “misunderstanding” tropes. Think of this as more of a romantic slice-of-life story than an action or traditional romance story. Finally, thank you for reading. :)
