So I am back XD and don't know if anyone is still reading this XD but here it goes

"Why won't you?" she breathed as my lips left her now swollen pink lips to collect some air. As my chest heavily filled with air, I tipped her chin a little so I can look her in her emerald eyes and confess my love again and again for her...Didn't she hear it the first time? I am deeply in love with her and the intensity of the feelings that I , now, hold for her make me even question if I ever truly loved Liza the same way.

"Because I love you." I assured as my left hand kept on drawing patterns on her back. This time, Sophia didn't seem to freeze and push me away, as my hand sneaked its way beneath her shirt. She was as consumed in that kiss as I was and didn't mind me touching her skin , enjoying its warmth and smoothness.

"I know that...Truly ,I know but what if I end up hurt, after trusting you? Who will mend my heart then?" She questioned as tears filled her eyes yet never fell. I brought her too many heartbreaks and don't know if I will be able to fix my deeds or not.

"I won't hurt you..." I promised kissing her forehead "I won't" I repeated as my phone started buzzing

"Your phone." Sophia noted

"Ignore it. All that matters now is us." I ordered informing her as my ringtone started to get louder echoing through the walls of Sophia's silent house

"Answer it." Sophia said and her two hands grabbed mine pushing them lightly away from her

"Sophia?" I begged not knowing what is going inside her head

"Answer your phone and then we will talk. I am going to make some coffee." She announced and I couldn't but nod

Taking my phone out of my pocket, I saw the one name that can ruin all for me. "Hilda", Liza's mother was calling continuously and I just froze. What should I do and how should I act?

"Axel , for god's sake, pick up" Sophia begged as she came again to the living-room

"It is Hilda, Liza's mother." I spoke in a low tone fearing what's next

"Oh" Sophia breathed and I saw her figure becoming rigid

"I won't answer" I promised pushing the phone away

"What if something bad happened?" Sophia murmured

"I don't care. The one person that I care about is you." I assured throwing my phone on a near by couch

"Thanks but pick up it is okay. I promise." Sophia urged but I like a kid shook my head in refusal "Just to make sure that nothing bad happened" Sophia assured then brought me my still loud phone

"Hello...Yes? What?" my eyes nearly popped as the old lady informed me of what happened and kept on weeping painfully

"What's wrong?" Sophia asked as the phone call ended

"Liza, she tried to run away from rehab but got caught. She threw various angry tantrums at the nurses then locked herself in her room and slot her wrists...She is in the hospital right now. Her operation was a success but the doctors say that her psychological case is crucial." I repeated the old lady's words feeling a wave of pain invading me

"I am so sorry, Axel" Sophia said and her eyes teared

"It is not your fault gem." I promised

"It is ours. If we didn't fall for each other you would have been with her, protecting her , saving her." She argued as she hugged herself letting her held tears fall freely on her pink blushing cheeks

"We didn't tell her to suicide. I helped her as much as possible and Liza's mind is beyond fixing. Even her own mother couldn't help her. And if we didn't fall in love. You would have been played by Adam or even raped by Ezra. I saved what's mine. Liza might have been my girlfriend for years but her and me, we weren't meant to be. I followed my heart and did what I did because you are the one that made me truly fall and because I have you near I will do it all over again" I argues back then hugged Sophia closer to my chest silencing her whimpers

"If she had you..." Sophia cried again

"If I didn't have you, that's an equation that I am not willing to think about." I said hushing her

"Let's go to her. It might be tough for her to see me but at least we can keep an eye on her. We can help her until she is up and strong again. She must have reached a high degree of depression and that led her to such point. We can make a difference in her life." Sophia pleaded and I stood the awestruck at the goodness that this woman holds

"And you ask me why I love you?" I chuckled in reply

"So, are you okay with such a plan?" Sophia questioned as she wiped her tears away

"Liza bullied you sweetheart and even in her condition I know that she still holds some grudge. I won't ask you to help her. I already hurt you enough and even I will stand aside this time, because Liza must take consequences of her actions." I declined fearing what may come if Liza sat an eye on gem

"If you won't help her, I will." Gem announced pushing away from me

"But why?" I questioned her sudden gained aggression

"Because every person deserves a new start and this might be hers. In what hospital is she?" Sophia questioned walking away from me

"Rosemary Hospital" I informed following her

"Call Mitchell and Bless. Tell them that I am asking for my favor payments now. They will come with us and try to befriend Liza. She may throw things at us but we will find a way to drag her out of her dark mind." Sophia said turning around as she reached the door of her bedroom " where do you think you are going exactly?" She questioned raising her eyebrow at me

"Your room?" I answered back

"I am going to change so we can go to the hospital and you ,mister, you are going to go back to the living room and sit on the couch until I come out." she ordered with a teasing smile

"But that's a show I don't want to miss." I replied smirking at her

"We will see when you can own up to such show." she tease right back then blew me a kiss and kicked the door shut leaving me behind
