《His Replaced bride ✔》9. Moving together

The following night, Abhimaan was on Terrace, drinking and fuming with anger at Samaira. A mere girl has ruined his peaceful and content life. Even turned his whole family against him.

Of course, her innocent face is not her reality.

What kind of person would trade some other girl in their daughter's place?

What kind of person would break every contact with their so-called daughter?

And in what place would someone agree to spoil her own life?

She has hatched some big plans. And my family is getting easily fooled by her innocent charm and beautiful heart.

Bloody hell!

"Abhi...."

He closed his eyes and took a long breath to calm his inner rage. He put his glass aside, not wanting his mother to see him drinking.

"Please Mother, I'm not in the right state to talk. We'll talk later." He said will finalty.

"My sweet, sweet boy.." He felt her caressing his back, almost soothing him of his tiredness. He felt warmth instantly.

A mother knows exactly when her child needs her love and warmth. She made him turn to her and saw the furious look in his eyes, which he was trying to hide from her.

She inwardly chuckled.

"I know beta, what you are thinking right now. But trust me, we just want your happiness, nothing else." She said, taking his hand in her.

"Don't start with this happiness shit now. I trusted you all, that's why I agreed to this arranged marriage thing in the first place." He replied immediately, tired of hearing the same dialogue from past months.

"What's the difference here? It's not like you had someone in your life or you loved the other girl chosen for you. Right?" She asked him, looking suspiciously. She knew the answer but just wanted to get this through her stubborn son’s head.

"No Mom, I have no one. And this is not the same as earlier. I agreed on marrying that Dhriti girl, not her cousin! Someone has deceived me. I should have given her punishment, making her regret trying to defame my family’s name but what am I doing here?"

"Nothing! F-ck!" He yelled and turned around. He fisted his hand, hard, looking away.

This all was getting on his nerves.

He is a controlling man, he liked to be in charge. He did not like that someone tried to mess with him. And got away with it. Well, except his mother, she turned the big bad billionaire into a big soft teddy bear.

"Abhi, look at me." Arunima was afraid of his growing hatred towards Samaira, her sweet daughter-in-law.

"You are not going to hurt her! Promise me." She said with a hard, commanding tone.

She couldn't imagine her son hurting an innocent girl....his wife.

"What?" He said with disbelief clear in his voice.

"You think this low of me....wow" He replied with a pained expression.

"No I have full faith in you but I also know that you are prone to get blind in fury. You have to promise me Abhi....." Arunima replied, trying to make him understand not knowing that the damage had already been done.

He was hurt. Very hurtful.

"I won't ever hurt her, you have my word." He said directly looking into her eyes.

She could sense the determination in his words. She was relaxed but soon her happiness was crushed hearing his next words.

"But I won't ever forget this." Saying this he stormed out, leaving her with regret.

She just wanted her child to be happy, nothing else.

The next day, they were standing outside the house. The driver was putting their luggage in the car trunk. Abhimaan was continuously talking to someone on his cell, using it as a means to avoid everyone.

He already had enough advice about taking care of her, giving it a chance, don't getting angry easily, and so on.

Samaira came out with Arunima.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Just have faith in your marriage." Her words gave her little hope and courage.

Arunima looked towards Abhimaan, who got settled in the car without exchanging any words with his parents.

They felt bad about his cold behaviour.

The whole ride to his house in Bangalore from the airport was silent. He didn't even glance at her and she didn’t even try to get his attention. During the ride, she also slept in between. Waking up, she saw him in the same position doing something on his phone.

Doesn't this man get tired?

The journey came to a halt when they reached his penthouse.

Maa told me he lives alone with some of his staff.

He left the car without uttering a word, she saw him talking to his driver and then walked past him. He went inside leaving her to hear alone.

Oh my God, ....He is leaving me alone here.

She got restless but his driver came towards the car to open the car door for me. She was so tense and so rigid in her position that she forgot to open the door and get out of the car.

She mumbled a small thank you to him and walked towards where her husband was going, the driver was showing her the way.

She stepped into the elevator and stood quietly. Her heart was beating fast like it was gonna explode at any time. She saw some security panel on the door but the door was open.....for her.

I guess!

The driver left when she entered the house, maybe that's what he was ordered to do.

She stepped inside and could not move further as she was busy admiring the beauty in front of her.

Her eyes went wide; she was stunned by the beauty of his penthouse.

Maa told me he lived here alone for 1 and a half years. This huge place is only for one person.

She was so busy with the admiring session that she forgot whose house was this and with whom she came here.

Surely her in-law's house had more space, a full joint family was living there but only one person was wasting money on this house.

Money, she was not a money-minded or a gold digger like he called her. Surely, she needed money but just for her basic needs or maybe someday to fulfil her dream.

"Are you done with your staring session so we can talk?" His voice full of authority broke her thoughts. She felt embarrassed.

He was standing there with his hands in his pant’s pocket, looking extraordinarily handsome.

Well....no, don't think about that.

"Upstairs first room is yours and besides that is mine. Do whatever you want, but don't bother me." He said sternly. She nodded looking down.

"Look at me when I talk to you and use your words." He grumbled.

She immediately looked up and met his beautiful eyes, void and cold with no trace of emotion.

Will these eyes ever fill with love for me?

Love?

Where did that come from?

"I don't know what magic you did on my parents that they couldn't stop praising you. We are married because of your cunning family....".

She opened her mouth to protest but his one hard glare and she shut up.

"You are my wife just in front of my family. I'll never accept this forced relationship." He said, his voice full of hatred.

It hurts.

"I have promised my mother to take care of you, so live here, enjoy all the luxury, do anything but always remember that you are carrying my name."

"If you ever defame my name...." He came forward to her and she stepped behind.

"I understand..." She replied not wanting to hear any more accusations.

He opened his mouth to say something but shook his head. He was clenching his jaw. His face was full of rage, he was glaring at her hard. But, he turned and left to his room after making everything clear to her.

Breaking her hopes of a desired happy life. He shattered her hopes into millions of pieces.

She didn't know for how long she stood there, dumbfounded trying to grasp his words. She came back to her senses when she felt warm tears on her cheeks.

She was crying.

Why?

I won't cry. Why would I cry?

He called me a gold digger.

I know, I’m not at fault. Let him think what he thinks.

She immediately wiped her tears and walked towards her new room.

She doesn't know why she was expecting anything from him. Maybe, she took Arunima's words too seriously about giving it a chance.

He was angry. He vented all his anger on her. But what about her? She was also angry. She also wants to take out her anger. She wanted to scream. She also wanted to let out her feelings but she had no one to share her pain, her cries with.
