《His Replaced bride ✔》7. He is Rude

It had been two days since the heated argument between Abhimaan and his family. Samaira met her husband just for him to leave again. Without even trying to know her, he judged her by the doings of her family.

The whole family was restless. They couldn't leave their son's marriage on the verge of destruction.

Especially when no one is at fault. It's just the fault in their stars. If they had met Samaira first, they would have chosen her, instead of Dhriti.

Samaira was a more talented, sweet, beautiful and gold-hearted person. But they never met her. Her aunt didn't want her to come in front of them. She was always jealous of her beauty and talent. There were so many things just like this which she never shared with anyone. Not even her uncle knew about it.

Samaira was watering in the garden lost in her thoughts. She loved to be here, with the fresh flowers, and fresh air.

At least they are not like my life.

Arunima came to her and stood beside her. They exchanged a warm smile. Arunima knew about her silent behaviour and her inner fear about her future. She is a woman. She could understand her insecurities.

"Samaira, I wanted to apologize to you for Abhi's behaviour," Arunima said looking towards her. She was ashamed of his behaviour towards a girl.

She understood him. The whole family understood his point of view but you just can't go ignoring how you are hurting others.

"Maa, please you don't have to apologize for anything. I understand," Samaira said, keeping the watering can down.

"You are my sweet daughter. I'm really glad that you are my Abhi's life partner." Arunima said, palming her cheeks.

Samaira just smiled looking down. She didn't know about her and Abhimaan's relationship but she was so happy to be called someone’s daughter.

A daughter, a family member, not a burden anymore.

They were talking when they heard the screeching tyres. A black Audi stopped and a very dashing, charming Abhimaan came out.

Samaira's breath hitched looking at the Greek God in a blue suit with a white button-down. He had sunglasses on, looking devilishly handsome.

Why does he have to be so handsome? Samaira groaned inwards.

"Abhi.....you came" Arunima smiled, seeing her son after 2 days. He left angrily. She was very worried about him and continuously called him. Her calls forced him to come back.

Samaira looked away immediately, not wanting to catch him staring at him openly.

Arunima ran to him, he stopped and took off his shades. He could see Samaira was standing there too. He clenched his jaw.

"Why do you do this? Don't you know how worried I was?" Arunima scolded him like he was still her 10-year-old boy, who went to play for a little too long.

He felt bad for making his mother worried. But he composed himself behind his hard, no emotion face.

He was not in his right mind for coming in front of her.

He was mad at her.

"You only forced me to do this, Mom" Saying this he went inside the house.

No one said anything but Samaira was relieved that he was home.

Arunima entered Abhimaan's study room, where he was working, locking himself from the entire house.

His coat was lying on the couch, his jet black hair was ruffled and spread on his forehead. His sleeves were half folded. He had 3-4 cups of coffee already.

He didn't want to go to his room. He didn't want to see her and interact with her. Just 3-4 days then he will leave for Bangalore for his work. He had started a new project there and had to go there for some months.

That will be a good place to avoid all these matters.

He didn't realize when Arunima entered with a plate of food in her hands. She smiled and kept the plate beside his laptop. He still didn't turn to her.

He didn't want to talk to her.

"Abhi....you didn't come for dinner. I made your favourite palak-paneer" Arunima said, keeping a morsel in front of him.

He didn't say anything.

"Are you still mad at your mother?" She asked in a low sad voice which he couldn't ignore.

He closed his eyes in frustration and shut off his laptop.

"What do you want, Mom? You asked to come and I did! Now, what do you want?" He said getting up.

Why can't they just leave me alone?

"I'm sorry if I disturbed you." She said disheartened and turned to keep the morsel back.

"Mom....wait. Mom, I didn't mean to hurt you. You know me......I-I don't know.....please.. don't go.." He said, making her stop. His voice was filled with desperation.

He never wanted to hurt his Mom. He loved her the most in the world.

"I know. I understand." Arunima said, consoling him. She knew what her son needed. Love and support.

"Everything will be fine, just give it a little time." She said,

He sighed. She made him eat his food. He ate quietly this time.

"You look tired. Go and sleep first. We will talk later." She said getting up, almost in a request form.

He also didn't say anything, not wanting to make a new argument now.

"Will you?" Arunima asked again.

"Yes, Mom. I'll go and sleep. You should take a rest now" he replied. She kissed his forehead and mumbled good night. She left, leaving him behind.

They didn't say anything about Samaira. He didn't want to and Arunima also stopped, seeing him tired and all worn out.

She will talk to him tomorrow, thinking that she left too.

Samaira was roaming around the balcony, a habit. She had already changed into her nightclothes. She was getting worried, what if he came into the room and what if he did not.

Both the conditions were not for her liking.

Her chain of thoughts was interrupted when she heard someone closing and opening the door.

She stepped inside the room and stopped on the side of the bed. Both were looking at each other.

So, he decided to come.

Unknowingly, she lowered her lashes fidgeting with her fingers.

He dashed into the walk-in closet without giving her any heed.

He opened his large cupboard to take out his trousers and t-shirt. He saw her clothes were also there, beside his.

Her sarees, suits, and some pyjamas. He shut it close in a thud.

"What the hell is this?" He opened another drawer and found some jewellery. He yelled in anger, throwing some of her stuff on the floor.

Samaira ran inside, hearing him shout and saw some of her clothes lying down. Confused, she looked up to meet his dark and anger-filled eyes.

She immediately gulped and looked down.

"Who gave you the permission to put all this stuff in here?" He hissed, marching to her. She took some steps back.

"I want answers when I ask something," He said in a low voice, not wanting his voice to go out of the room.

His hot breath was fanning around her cheeks. He was way too close for her liking. She looked up and licked her lips nervously.

He saw her reaction and immediately looked into her deep brown eyes.

"Maa said to shift my stuff....that's why I.." She replied. (Mom)

Do not stammer, Samaira. He is not going to kill you. She mentally scolded herself.

"Remove everything before I throw it out." He said very arrogantly. She felt bad.

"But...." She tried to say but one hard look and she snapped her mouth shut and nodded.

He dashed inside the washroom giving her last glare.

"No one can mess with me"

Samaira stood quietly, not wanting to make any noise and make him angrier. Silently she started taking her stuff out and putting them in her suitcase, again.

She had no other choice, it was his place and everything was his.

She was hurt.

But she had heard and faced a lot. This was not something huge.

Right?
