《First one》Sixty-Four: You will regret this!

We continued to finish our shower, being close to each other, appreciating our closeness, the hot water wiping away all the literal bad blood, providing us with a clean slate. That made me think while I was laying in Lukas's arms, underneath the warm sheets as I was enjoying his soft snores at ten p.m. unable to sleep. If we were going to start tomorrow with a clean slate, then I needed to do two more things.

His heated body was pasted around mine, his arms firmly holding on to waist and his face was snuggled against the skin behind my ear. The heat of his naked body was radiating onto mine and I didn't want to leave this cozy cocoon of happiness, but I had to.

I gently lifted up his sore arm trying not to wake him up. Ever so slightly I slid over the sheets until my feet hit the hardwood floor. I went to grab my underwear and clothes from the bathroom. To my mistake they were still lying in the shower, completely drenched. Sweet memories of Lukas's hands removing them making me blush. I was forced to take the spare leggings Lukas stole from Mia's closet and one of his oversized light grey hoodies, skipping underwear as they were also soaked. My hair was still damp but I didn't bother too much with it... I have to get out before Lukas wakes up.

I glanced over at him, fast asleep looking peaceful before I tiptoed into the living room, grabbing my shoes and Lukas's car keys, promising myself to be careful with it. I drove away, contemplating every scenario in my head, feeding my rage as I did, remembering the way Lukas looked when I found him, blood covering his face, my guts turning inside out with panic at the sight of him.

After a heartbreaking drive, I stopped in front of a frat house, the right one I hoped, parking the car right up front. It was a rare sight seeing a frat house without a wild party starting at the front lane, cups scattered everywhere. I couldn't help but to ball my fists when I walked to the front door, barging in without knocking or giving the people inside any warning.

Four heads in the living room turned my way, some of them I had seen around school, others completely new. They looked at me with question marks burning on their foreheads and I could only shake my head with anger as I walked over to them, my footsteps echoing through the room as everyone stared at me in silence.

"Jesus you look like you're here to murder someone..." One of the guys mocked me but I wasn't laughing.

"You might just be right." I scoffed. "Where's Drew?!" I gritted through my teeth, not bothering to ask them nicely.

"Whoa whoa, slow down. What did he do?" One of the guys, the blond one who looked like he plays gold on a daily, said.

"He probably fucked her an didn't call her back." The first one started laughing and the rest joined him. Freaking boys. I rolled my eyes at them, my hands at my side.

"Come, here. Sit with us and have a beer." The one who just mocked me said while he eyed me up, patting the free space next to him. Disgusting...Now is not the moment to mess with me... I'm fucking pissed. He stuck out his arm, handing me the beer can. I took it, only to hold it up in front of me and deliberately letting it fall out of my hand in front of him. My face emotionless but on the inside, on the inside I was raging, fuming, cooking with anger.

"Where's Drew?!" I hissed again through my teeth, about to punch someone as I kept an image of Lukas's injuries at the back of my head.

"He's right here." I heard his voice from behind me, disgust filling every fiber in my body. I turned around, shaking my head as I stomped into his direction, slamming my hands against his chest as soon as he was close enough.

"Isabella baby, what are you doing?" He said grabbing my wrists to keep me from pushing him again.

"Let go of me!" I straight out yelled at his face while trying to tug my wrists form his needing hands.

"Baby!" He said, shock and surprise filling his voice as if this was normal and I was the one losing my mind.

"I swear to god, call me baby one more time and I'll kick you where it hurts!" I yelled, still trying to free my wrists from his firm grip. "Let go!" I tugged once more, and he let go.

"Fine, sor-" He said holding up his hands in front of him but before he could finish, I smacked my flat hand to his left cheek, making sure he was going to feel that for longer than two minutes. "What the fuck was that for?" He yelled, frowning his brows at me, unmoved about the pain on his cheek, like he didn't feel it at all.

"Oh, I don't know! Maybe because you almost beat my boyfriend into a fucking coma!" I yelled, pushing my tiny hands at his chest, unable to make him move an inch. Drew threw one hand through his messy hair, ruffling it up. As he did my eyes fell on his busted knuckles and my name tattooed on his wrist making my stomach turn inside out, like I was about to throw up with disgust. I was breathing heavy with anger, out of breath by the way he was standing in front of me, so unaffected. "Drew! Why!?" I asked him, well, yelled at him.

"Why not?!" He huffed, shaking his head at me, his hands disappearing in his pockets. "He hit me in the face with a tray! I was fucking unconscious for a bit!" He rolled his eyes and his posture was only feeding my anger by the second, by every word coming from his mouth.

I looked at him, clenching my jaw, unsure how to react without latching out at him physically... "You deserved that! He only did that because you freaking tattooed MY name on YOUR wrist after you tried to assault me Drew! You are out of your mind!" I threw my hands in the air with frustration.

Drew looked over my head, his eyes shooting daggers, turning back soft as they met mine. I turned around to see the four guys on the couch staring at us, judging him and he deserved every humiliating glare. I shrieked when I felt his hand on my shoulder, making me turn back to him. "Bella, not here, please." He said nicely, his hand grabbing my arm, pulling me away from our lovely crowd.

"No!" I pulled my arm away from him. "I don't want to be alone with you!" At my words he took a step back looking at me with pure disappointment lingering in his gaze, as he swallowed. "They can hear! They should hear. They have to live with someone like you!" I yelled, pointing my hand to the filled couch.

"Someone like me?" He shook his head as if he didn't understand what was wrong with him.

"You are unpredictable, impulsive, aggressive and quite frankly I think you're obsessed with me. You have lost it! Have you seen the state Lukas was in when you were done with him!? You left him for death, for what, and don't give me that fucking tray excu-".

"Because he has been fucking you!" he yelled in my face, wanting to touch my shoulders but pulling his hands back when he saw the scared look on my face while I took a step back.

I scoffed at him, shaking my head once more. "He is my boyfriend Drew; he can fuck me whenever he likes." I yelled but before I realized the palm of his hand was firing to my cheek, hitting my quite hard, hard enough to make me stumble back feeling disorientated, slightly leaning forward, staring at the floor. In the background I heard ruffling before I saw a pair of white converses in front of me, followed by a gentle hand sliding over my shoulder. I looked up, meeting the dark green eyes of the guy who had been mocking me before, the one that had eyes me up the entire time.

"Hey, are you okay?" He said softly, concern in every way he looked at me and the way his fingers were softly caressing my shoulder.

I swallowed, softly shaking my head to get a grip of my environment. "Yeah, I think so." I said, looking past him to see Drew, the golf guy, standing between us. Drew was pushing both hands through his hair, having them sit on top of his head, desperation pasted all over his face.

"You were going to give me another chance...!" Drew yelled at the top of his lungs when his eyes met mine, through the wall of people, well two people, between us.

I shook my head with disbelief, swiftly looking at those comforting green eyes of the guy rubbing my shoulder to make me feel safe and supported. "I never said that! I'm with Lukas, why would I say that, even after you did what you did! I could never forgive you Drew! Never! You are completely disturbed! You will regret this!" I raised my voice at Drew as my cheeks stung like a bee. As soon as Lukas's name rolled over my lips, Drew came at me, moving forwards, his eyes radiating hate.

The guy with the green eyes, stood between us, holding Drew at a distance with his hand at Drew's chest, pushing him away. "The fuck! Don't come near her Drew, I'm not letting you lay another hand on her!" He yelled at Drew as soon as golf guy helped to keep him at a distance, the other guys on the couch joining him.

"I need you Isabella!" Drew yelled, running his hands through his hair again, his eyes tearing up as they gave me a desperate stare.

"Drew, stop it! She clearly doesn't want you!" Green eyes tried to talk some reason into Drew. He only shook his head. "Take him to the kitchen to cool him off." He nodded to the other guys coming to my rescue.

"Don't fucking touch me." Drew shook them off as two of them put a hand on his shoulder to guide him away. I took a deep breath, relief washing over me as he went voluntarily to the kitchen, hopefully disappearing out of my sight forever. But concern flooded back when I heard some things being smashed, the sound of shattering glass terrorizing my ears and making me jump slightly.

"I think you should go, before we can't handle him anymore." A hand squeezing my shoulder pulled me out of my thoughts. I looked up meeting those green eyes again, and I had to admit they were mesmerizing. More hazel than green as the light hit them differently this time. He was tall and lean, his caramel hair shorter on the sides than on top, the top quite messy. His lips full and pink, the rest of his face perfectly symmetrical. "Isabella?" He pulled me out of my thoughts once more with another soft squeeze at my shoulder.

"Yeah, sorry I uuhm, I will go now." I said, feeling a bit off and consumed by my thoughts.

"I'll walk you out." He said, giving me a smile as he lowered his hand from my shoulder to grab a hold of the access fabric on my sleeve, gently guiding me out the door. I looked back once more, making sure Drew wasn't appearing from somewhere. Once outside he hid his hands in his pockets as he walked me to the car.

"Are you sure you are okay? He hit you quite hard. It's uuhm..." He said while sliding his finger over his own cheek to mimic mine. 'It's kind of, well, really red." He said, frowning his brows with concern.

"Yeah, it stings but I've had worse." I said making him widen his eyes at the way those words left my mouth so naturally. "Never mind, it's nothing, really." I tried to keep him from asking any further questions.

"It is... He's my friend but I mean it when I say I think you should report him." He said before putting his lips in a straight line. We arrived at the car as I grabbed my keys from the pocket of Lukas's hoodie. "Nice car you have there?" He said while glancing over at the vintage mustang, the hood reflecting the moonlight.

"It's, uuhm..." I fidgeted with my keys. "It's my boyfriend's." I said, almost stuttering as this was getting quite awkward.

"Lukas, right?" His green eyes tried to hide his disappointment, but his lips smiled at me, tugging up the corners of his mouth as I nodded to confirm. "He has great taste." He said eyeing me up, this time less predatory than before, gentler and admiring. "Uuhm, in cars." He tried to save himself while nervously looking away with a busted smirk on his face. 'Great taste in cars I meant." He said making himself even more guilty of giving me a compliment.

I chuckled. "Don't worry, I found it flattering." I giggled.

"He's a lucky guy, you're chill." He smiled, revealing his perfect teeth while hiding his hands back in his pockets.

I giggled at him calling me chill after witnessing me rage at Drew. I took my keys while pointing my thumb at the car. "I have to go now." I said before opening the door, keeping my eyes on his humble posture, hand in his pockets and a small smile pasted on his lips.

His hand moved to the doorframe holding it open, but my eyes left him to make the engine purr. "Hey Isabella." He said making me look up at him. "take care." The softest smile lingering on his full lips.

I smiled, my hands on the wheel. "You too..." I said, realizing he never mentioned his name.

"Zach." He grinned, his green-ish eyes smiling along. "See you around." He smiled before shutting the door and hiding his hands in his pockets again, watching me take off.

I felt free, free now that I finally confronted Drew, a weight lifted of my chest, lastly able to fully breathe again. I saw each streetlight fade away until my pupils met the next, my mind drifting off.

I still had one more thing to do as I needed this madness to stop. Lukas getting hurt was worse than getting hurt myself, I had gotten used to it, but him getting hurt I couldn't handle. I love him too much! This has to stop.

Tears and fear welled up as I parked the car in the parking lot. Tears for something I should have done a lot sooner but never could, and fear for being at a loss of words at the most critical time. How on earth am I going to find the right words? You can do it, you have to!

I walked into the large building, hesitantly dragging my feet to the desk, the woman behind it smiling at me as I approached. "Can I help you sweetie? You look a little lost." She said, her tone calm and soft as I stepped closer, my hand nervously rubbing my arm.

I parted my lips to speak, my head getting a heartbeat of its own. I took a deep breath before proceeding to speak. "Uuhm, yeah, uuhm... I'm want to report an assault." I told the police officer, tears stinging at the corners of my eyes as I forced the words over my lips.

"Sweetie, are you the victim?" She said, her soft eyes wandering over me with concern.

"Yes...Yes I am." I swallowed, my hand finally relaxing by my side, complete ready to put an end to all the pain Drew caused.
