《First one》Twenty-Six: are you drunk?

Mia and I stood together in front of the Kappa Sigma house with matching outfits. Mia had given me one of her little black dresses and I was surprised that it fit me. It was way too tight and breathing was kind of hard, but hey who needs to breathe, as long as you look pretty. The dress was a bit too sexy for my liking, but Lukas was going to be there, and I bet he was going to like the off the shoulder neckline a lot more than I did.

"Are you ready to party?" Mia said while taking my hand and dragging me inside, not wasting any time by pulling us to the kitchen to get some drinks. "Here let's do some shots and head over to the dancefloor." She chuckled while handing me a shot of some sweet-smelling liquor. No idea what it was but it was going to burn my throat and make my head spin. Do I want this? Do I want to go down the same road as my parents? Don't overthink it, I'm nothing like them. I can let loose even if it's for just one night. I convinced myself before tilting my head back and letting the liquid coat my throat. Damn I was right, that burned like hell.

After two more shots I was already tipsy due to my lack of resistance and I wanted to dance and forget about everything that happened the last few days. But in walked Olivia and I was sure she was only here to ruin my fun. She had seen me and Lukas being cozy in the hallway earlier today and I had to find out what it was she heard. She better not know about Jason or she's going to ruin everything. I gave Olivia a once over, observing her red skanky dress. She obviously didn't get the memo that it was a BLACK party, that or she's just an attention whore, I'm picking option number two... Arrgg... Her brown hair is straightened and pulled into a way to tight ponytail...Couldn't hurt her head, there's not much in it.

Olivia caught me staring and gave me a killer look projecting every bit of despise she had towards me, her long nails tapping on the kitchen counter.

"Hey Mia, why don't you head to the dancefloor, I'm coming in a sec." I said while keeping my eyes on Olivia. The bitch wants a stare down, she's going to get one.I'm done hiding in a corner and letting people like her walk over me.

"Are you sure? She looks like she's going to attack you with her nasty claws." Mia giggled while looking at Mia who hissed at her words.

"Let her try." I chuckled.Man, didn't know being tipsy would give me the confidence I always wanted.I had to be careful though, I did not want to become dependent of the substance that destroyed my family, ever, no matter how much it boosted my courage to stand up to people like Olivia. Mia disappeared in the crowd and as soon as I saw her head vanish behind the tall frames dancing, Olivia stepped closer to me as intimidating as she could. Oh boy. "What do you want?" I snapped at her, the expression on her face surprised as I fiercely opened my mouth.

"Well, look who has found her tongue." She said before clacking her own tongue between her teeth, ignoring the other people coming in and out of the kitchen. She took a shot and tilted her head back, downing the shot in one take before putting the glass upside down on the counter followed by a sharp sound of glass hitting marble. Bitch.I can do that too.I repeated her action, downing another shot which added to my already dizzy state.

"What do you want." I repeated while rolling my eyes at her, something she didn't like as she took another step towards me, her face too close to mine for my liking.

"What's going on between you and Lukas." She tiled her head to the side while putting a hand in her waist, expecting an immediate answer.

"Oh yeah that's right, you were kind of spying on us yesterday because you have nothing better to do with your miserable life." I snapped, containing myself not to laugh. I was clearly getting on her nerves as she shook her head and wetted her lips with her tongue, getting ready to react.

"Watch out Isabella, or I'll make your life miserable." She lifted her brows once again trying to bully me.

"How much of it did you hear?" I inwardly panicked but my exterior remained calm and emotionless.

"Nothing, I just saw you two being fuzzy and touchy, what's going on, because I'm not willing to share my man." She scoffed, almost spitting at my face, but I was relieved our Jason secret was safe, for now. I had nothing to worry about, at least not when it came to Olivia.

"Oh, bitch please, he's not yours to share. At least not anymore." I snapped at her, slaying the dragon before turning on my heel and walking out of the kitchen. The look on her face forever registered in my mind, forever being priceless. She was even to shocked to follow me. Lucky me.

After dragging myself through a crowd of dancing people, all dressed in black, I found Mia. She was dancing alone but all eyes were on her, mostly guys adoring her among with some jealous looking girls.

"Hey, glad to see you're still alive." Mia laughed, her voice echoing over the loud music. "What did she want?" She said closer to my ear while continuing to dance.

"Nothing, I just didn't want her to ruin our fun tonight, so I basically told her to back off." Not entirely but close enough. Mia grabbed my hand and twirled me around to the beat. I loved that I could let loose while I was around her. She brought out the part in me I never had the chance to let blossom. I'm happy.

After a few songs Mia's eyes wandered off to the other side of the dance floor. Following her gaze, I was shocked and angry at the same time when I saw where it ended. It was Jason, standing in the kitchen next to Ben.

"Hey, I'm going to say hi to Jason for a minute, stay here." Mia yelled over the music, pointing her finger to the kitchen. I wanted to tell her then and there he was cheating, but reminded myself of what I promised Lukas. Three weeks max...This was going to be much harder than I thought.

As Mia walked through the crowd a tall figure was quick to take her place in front of me. I looked up and saw a good-looking guy with blonde wavy hair staring down on me, his blue eyes glistening under the flashing lights. He looked familiar, maybe I had seen him around on campus somewhere. Whatever, all I knew was that he wanted to dance with me as he put out his hand for me to grab. I made this mistake once, and I wasn't going to make it twice. There wasn't going to be a second Drew story especially not while I was tipsy. Anyway, there was only one person I wanted to dance with, and he wasn't here. The only thing I could think of was to quickly pat his hand like you would caress your dog before putting my lips in a straight line as it looked to funny not to laugh.

Unfortunately, he wasn't backing off, instead he diverted his gaze from my face to my neckline and my bare shoulders, letting his eyes trail over every inch of skin. I tried to avoid making any eye contact with him as he came closer, dancing to the beat of the music.Where is Mia when you need her... This is getting awkward. The tall guy took another step towards me trying to close the gap between us and when I took a step back, I bumped into someone who quickly put his hands around my waist, pulling me towards him, the feeling of his warm and strong hands too familiar.

"Dude why don't you back off, she's clearly not interested." A voice said from behind me scaring away the blonde guy as he backtracked to another girl dancing by herself. "That's called great timing." The voice whispered in my ear as the arms around my waist pulled me even closer. I didn't need time to figure out whose husky voice sounded sweet in my ears. It was Lukas and I couldn't have been happier for his gift for great timing.

I turned around, wiggling myself in his arms to face him and I took the liberty to observe every inch of him. He was wearing a black shirt, the sleeves rolled up showing his random tattoos.Uuuhm yeah that's hot!The dark colors suited him as it made his light grey eyes pop. "You came." I whispered in his ears while putting my arms around his neck pulling him into a hug.

"You should thank me that I did, the guy was drooling all over you." He said, pulling his eyebrows up, the smirk on his face hiding something else than joy.

"Jealous?" I slurred close to his ear, the alcohol starting to fully kick in. I lowered my hands and put them on his chest, letting my fingers feel the fabric of his shirt as his arms were still wrapped around my waist, preventing even the slightest space from forming between us.

"Bella, are you drunk?" He whispered in my ear, his nose caressing my sensitive skin while the palm of his hand pushed into my back, causing me to stand on my toes. I wanted more than just his hands wrapped around my waist, I wanted every inch of him to become part of me. The shots didn't only make confident, they also made me lustful, or horny as most people would call it.

"I had a few shots, that's all." I giggled burying my face in his warm neck as we moved in sync to the music, his lower body firmly pressed against mine. I noticed my lips where near the tattoo peeking up from his shirt and I couldn't resist the urge to kiss it, so I put my lips on his piece of art causing him to drag in a sharp breath. My full lips were kissing every inch of his neck and I could feel he was getting excited too as his hand trailed up my spine to settle down at the back of my head.

His head leaned in against the side of mine until his lips found my temple, kissing it softly but full of want. I pulled back from his neck to face him, his eyes looking at me like I was the only one in the room. God, I want him. Maybe it's just the alcohol talking, who am I fooling that has nothing to do with it.

"This dress looks amazing on you." He smirked, brushing his nose against mine, our lower body parts pressed against each other. I could feel the excitement starting to bulge in his jeans and it only made me want him more. What am I waiting for, kiss him! Before I could reach up to smash my lips against him, his gaze fell on something terrifying as his eyes widened. "Shit, my sister is coming. This is not how you want her to find out about us." He said before pulling away from me, leaving my body longing for his touch.

"Us?" I asked him, curious about what it was he meant with us. Us being friends or did he mean more than just that?

"She doesn't even know we have been hanging out. It's going to stir up some drama if she finds out tonight." He said and I couldn't hide the disappointment on my face as he still didn't answer on what it is we were. "Hey, that doesn't change anything between us Bella." He smiled, trying to hush my defeat but failing.

"Fine, go ahead, keep even more secrets from her." I said pulling up my eyebrows at him.

"Oh, shut up, you like me either way." He laughed playfully while pushing gently at my shoulder. If it was any other person, I would have been slightly mad, but he's such a smooth talker it's hard to be angry at him for this.

"Your confidence is going to get you killed one day." I chuckled while shaking my head at him as Mia approached. She looked cheerful so I guessed Jason was back to being the nice boyfriend instead of the distant prick, which didn't change the fact he cheated and I internally scoffed at the thought.

"Luke, what are you doing here?" She asked, frowning her brows as soon as she saw the two of us together.

"It's a party Mia, this is the dancefloor. I'm allowed to stand here." He rolled his eyes at his sister but that wasn't anything new.

"Jackass, I'm not a retard!" She sighed while shrugging her shoulders before directing her speech to me. "They are going to play a game upstairs, are you guys coming?" She said while pointing to Jason, Ben and Olivia, not my favorite people at the moment.

"What kind of game?" I asked her, frowning my brows at the thought of sitting near bitch Olivia and cheat Jason. Well, Ben is fine, he's funny.I tried to convince myself.

"I don't know, truth or dare maybe." She shrugged her shoulders while nodding towards the kitchen, instructing us to follow her.

"Not my favorite game!" I whined following Mia to the kitchen trying to avoid dancing people bumping into me.

"Why not? Could get interesting." Lukas whispered into my ear, his mischievous thoughts causing me to blush as his fingers intertwined with mine. Last time I despised Lukas during the game but now we're at the stage of wanting nothing more than to be near each other the game just turned into something else. Could get interesting indeed...
