《First one》Twelve: kind of a man whore

I wasn't mentally and honestly also not physically prepared for another encounter with Lukas. He was being an ass and I couldn't believe I thought I felt something bubbling inside the deepest of my being the other day. Unfortunately, wasn't he just a jerk but also Mia's brother and had agreed to going over to her apartment, the one she shares with her brother...
I sighed deeply when I put my hand up to knock at the door, waiting for Mia to open the door. I have never been so anxious for someone to open the door. Open it already... I heard fumbling at the other side before it flew open, the door slightly scraping over the floor, which caught my attention. My attention for the door quickly faded when I saw the person who opened it. I must have some bad karma in some way because Lukas opened the door. I had to contain my eyes from lingering on his lean body that was accentuated by light grey sweatpants and a black T-shirt. Get a grip, Isabella...
"What are you doing here..." He scoffed staring at my face before trailing his gaze over my body.
"Don't worry, I'm here for Mia..." I hissed trying to walk past him but his body obstructed my way through the door as he step out in front of me. It's the first time I was impressed by his height now that he was standing in front of me, defensively trying to block me. "Let me in." I said putting my lips in a straight line and crossing my arms to protest.
"Say please." He whispered leaning in towards my face, the warmth of his breath lingering through my hair.
"You wish." I hissed, moving forward trying to get through the door but he stepped aside, blocking me again and causing me to bump into his rock hard chest. He is so infuriating! If he thinks he can intimidate me like that he's wrong. I shook my head, clenching my teeth together. The more frustrated I became the more his smirk tugged at the corners of his lips. Grrrr...I put my arms forward to push him out of the way and finally walked past him, my shoulder brushing against his body and leaving my skin on fire for some reason.
"Someone's in a good mood today." He growled while following me inside the apartment after closing the door and I'm pretty sure he rolled his eyes at me. I could hear his footsteps on the hardwood floor approaching and felt frustrated and angry because of what he said at the café.
"Well, you change moods faster than I can say the word mood swing." I bark at him while turning around and he frowned his brows.

"Ha! Oh come on... you don't even know me." He reacts stepping closer to me causing me to take a step back, my legs hitting the couch, unable to take another step. Why do I always find myself trapped. By him...
"I know enough to know you have some serious issues." I snarled but he wasn't going to give up without putting up a fight and his weapon of defense was always to make me as uncomfortable as possible. He put his hands on either side of me leaning on the couch, almost hovering over me. I wanted to lean back and lean in at the same time, avoiding his body from getting any closer or just giving in and putting my arms around him. My mind knew distance was the best option but try telling that to my body that almost exploded every time he gets close.
"You look like a nerd with those glasses." He said while smirking with those full lips and I was unsure if he meant it as a compliment or an insult. I even forgot I was wearing them but since he pointed them out, I instantly regretted putting on my black framed glasses. He already thought I looked dull, the glasses sure weren't going to help.
"Why are you so mean to me?" My lips said, because my mind wasn't ready for it. I was direct whenever I was around him, mainly because he frustrated me so much and he makes me so nervous I blurt out things before thinking.
"I...you... I can't fi-" '
"What are you two arguing about?" Mia cut him off while walking out her room, leaving me wondering what his explenation was going to reveal. As soon as Lukas saw his sister walking into the living room he pulled away from me causing me to take in a breath. I didn't even realize I was holding my breath until I gasped for air. "Was he bugging you Bella?" She asks while her eyes followed taking him long strides towards his room and shutting the door behind him.
"When isn't he..." I said trying to hide the frustration in my voice.
"He has been so on edge the past days. I don't know what's bothering him." She sighs while letting her body fall down on the soft couch. I decided to join her and relaxed against the soft pillows that where impossible to avoid as there where so many. "Probably a skank that didn't want to get inside his pants..." Mia laughed and I couldn't help but to laugh too. "Talking about skanks, he's going to a club with Olivia..." She rolled her eyes as her name slipped past her lips.

"Isn't she your friend?" I ask curiously putting my feet on the coffee table in front of me.
"Olivia? Please Bella, do I look like a could be friends with someone like her." She said while putting her long black hair in a messy bun on top of her head looking at me with wide eyes and an exaggerated surprised expression on her face.
"She hangs out with you and your brother, so I thought...-"
"She doesn't hang out, she hangs around Lukas with her claws attached to his back." She said while clawing her hands and it made me burst out in laughter. "She knows it's a waste of time, though. I love my brother but he's kind of a man whore." She laughs but quickly held her breath the moment Lukas stepped out of his bedroom to make his way to the bathroom carrying a towel over his shoulder. When he shut the door we both couldn't hold back anymore and laughed at her comment and the entire situation before being interrupted when someone knocked at the door.
"I ordered pizza, if that's okay?" She said while walking towards the door.
"Sure, I love pizza." I laughed while looking at the bathroom door, the sound of a running shower caught my attention. Ppff, washing away his sins.
Mia returned with two boxes before handing them to me. "Can you cut them in eight? I'll start the movie..." She asked putting the boxes in my hands. "Is The Ugly Truth fine?"
"Sure, love that movie!" The ugly truth right now was that Lukas was messing with my mind as my eyes where lingering on that damn bathroom door while I walked to the kitchen with two pizza boxes in my hands. It took me some time to find the drawer with the knives but I eventually found a decent knife to cut the pizzas with. I was so hungry I opened the box on the top leaving the lid open and taking out a slice. I put it in my mouth while walking out of the kitchen closing my eyes when the taste of dough hit my tongue. With a thud the boxes in my hand hit something hard causing me to startle and I opened my eyes. My eyes widened when I saw the view in front of me... Lukas was standing in front of me in nothing but a towel around his waist, his black hair still wet and the pizza boxes I was holding poking his ribcage. I swallowed the piece I was chewing even though I didn't chew it enough, my mistake because it made me cough.
"Jeez don't suffocate." He scoffed tilting his head to the side. I heard the words escaping his lips but my mind was somewhere else. I saw every inch of his chest including the tattoos that where usually hiding underneath his T-shirt. It weren't to many to cover him entirely but it sure was an interesting sight and definitely unexpected. "What? You're not going to share?" He scoffed again while taking a piece of pizza out of the box. The only thing I could think of was getting out of this situation as soon as possible before my hands went weak and I dropped the pizzas on the floor. I held onto the boxes tightly, ducked making myself even smaller and walked underneath his arm with which he was leaning against the door frame. I nervously strode into the living room sitting down next to Mia on the couch, handing her a box. I looked back to see if Lukas was still standing in the kitchen but there was no sign of him. I sighed relieved, He wasn't staring or even present in close proximity.
"How are things with Jason?" I asked Mia, reminding me she told me something didn't feel right.
"Weird." She said, chewing on a chunk of pizza. "We were gonna go to diner tomorrow, but he just send me a text he had to cancel, something came up... I mean what could be so important you have to cancel on your girlfriend..."
"That sucks." Honestly, I didn't know what else to say. I wanted to give her advice but I'm not really an expert on relationships.
"I know, right? I really don't know what to do... Things were so great a while ago and I can feel something is up, I just know it...If only I could figure out what so we can talk about it." She said before taking a big and frustrated bite.
"How about we watch this movie while emo eating and making sure we cry at the end." I laugh while toasting with my slice of pizza.
"Sounds right up my alley. Cheers!" She grinned holding up her slice to mine.
My stomach was filled until the point I felt like unbuttoning my jeans and the movie was keeping me and Mia amused. Halfway through, we were disturbed by a knock on the door. Mia didn't budge to open the door, I guess that's why every time I knocked on the door Lukas opened. I heard heavy footsteps walking towards the door and opening it. The voice I heard when it swung open made me cringe and roll my eyes at the same time. Mia's reaction mimicked mine as we looked at each other with disgust written all over our faces.
