《First one》Eight: come and get it!

I tried to blink my eyes a couple of times. As if that was going to make what they had just seen any better. Lukas and all his arrogance was sitting at the bar with hooded eyes and it looked like he had been day drinking. I rolled behind the bar and with every stride it smelled more and more like alcohol and cigarettes on his breath. It wasn't the godly smell of his cologne, that was sure.
"Oh, finally you decide to show up to work." He slurred while his bloodshot eyes seemed to enjoy the sight of me in my uniform because a large smirk appeared on his tired face.
"I'm right in time, thank you for acknowledging my schedule to me. I'm well aware." I snarled at him causing him to shake his head before continue staring at me while I clean the bar of any empty glasses. "What are you doing here Lukas?" I said stopping right in front of him.
"Aren't you supposed to be a little bit more friendly to your customers, Misssss." He slurred his words while swirling his finger at me and squeezing his eyes.
"You're not a customer, you haven't ordered anything." I roll my eyes at him while taking a rag and cleaning the counter.
"Pfff, You haven't even asked if I wanted anything. You're not a very good waitress, are youuuu." He said, loathe dripping of his voice.
"If you're here to insult me, I suggest you leave." I hissed at him staring him in the eyes, leaning my hands on the counter. His reaction? He sat up straight and readjusted his leather jacket before smoothing out his hair, pushing his messy strands of his forehead. "You are so in love with yourself its making me gag." I mumbled to myself.
"I'll be a good boy." He smirked. Even if you tried you couldn't be. You lie, drink and now you smoke too?
"What do you want." I said irritated.
"Just something to drink. A beer maybe." He gulped while juggling his hands through the air as if it was obvious he wanted more alcohol.
"I think you have had enough. Besides, this is a diner not a bar." I coughed annoyed.
"I'm going to be even more pissed! Just take my order if that's not too hard for you little brain to understand, right?" He said grabbing my arm almost pulling me against the bar.
"If you don't let go of my arm right now, I'll kick you out." I snapped at him. Due to our proximity the smell of alcohol and cigarettes mixed with mints was overwhelming. Our faces were close and I could see the hurt in his bloodshot eyes. Has he been crying? He must really have had a shitty day... Do I really want to make it worse.

"You will kick me out? With what? You're little man hands?" He scoffed and held onto my arm harder pulling me even closer to him. He looked down and thanks to the shirt which was part of the stupid uniform, he could look down and see everything. "You know, if you keep on the uniform, there is still a chance I might consider sleeping with you. It's a turn on." He whispered near my ear and I had to swallow at his comment, unsure of what to think of it.
"You are disgusting!" I said a little bit too loud, causing people in the diner to stare at us. I pulled away my arm and thank god he was too drunk to resist. I reached in my apron to take out my phone. "I'm calling you a cab!"
"No, you're not!" He said while grabbing the phone out of my hands and putting it in his inside pocket. I rolled my eyes at him and this time he seemed to enjoy it rather than taking offence as a big smile appeared on his face. This guy is more bipolar than me on my period, what's wrong with him.
"Give me my phone back!" I said before nudging his shoulder and staring him down like it was the wild west.
"Nope, come and get it." He said with a playful voice before smiling from ear to ear, his grey eyes looked glassy but somehow happy. I had never seen him like this. Of course you haven't, you met him yesterday. My inner thoughts interrupted my thinking. I looked at all the customers waiting for me to take their order but tonight wasn't a busy one. So, I was lucky and while I was busy trying to talk some sense into my friend, or whatever he is, Audrey covered for me.
"I don't have time for this Lukas, I have to work." I rolled my eyes again. Don't roll them again or they will stay like that.
"Why? Did your rich daddy forget to give you your allowance?" He teased but I'm pretty sure he meant it. Does he really think I'm rich? I wish, I wouldn't have to roll around with orders on a plate in a diner packed with annoying people.Drunk annoying people.
"You don't even know what you're talking about. So, here is the deal. You either let me call you a cap or you leave, walking." I snarled at him poking his shoulder again while he sat back with amusement.

"You, misssss, can't call a cab because I have your phone and I'm not going to walk are you insaneeee, my apartment isn't walking distance." He slurred, completely giving in to the alcohol in his system. He leaned his elbows on the bar while resting his head on his hands. I must admit he looked adorable if it wasn't for his drunk attitude.
"You are not driving home, you're too drunk." I sighed.
"Why do you care?" He rolled his eyes at me this time and that was a first. He changed posture and crossed his arms in front of his chest looking at me with a questioned gaze.
"Because I'm friends with your sister which means I get an invitation to the funeral if you die and I don't have an outfit for that!" I raised my voice frustrated.
"You can wear your uniform." He smirked while looking at me from head to toe before biting down on his bottom lip. Bipolar and horny. Yup he's on his period.
"That's not even funny Lukas!" I yelled at him causing another staring game with the other customers. Audrey rolled to me with a worried look on her angelic face.
"You need to take your friend home Bella, he's bad for business. You're lucky our boss is at the back doing paperwork or he would have fired you for this... this scene." She said waving her hand in the air at Lukas.
"I'm sorry, he's not even a real friend. Trust me. What about my shift?" I sighed while looking around the diner.
"I can manage. I'll tell Gregory you were feeling sick. It's okay, just go and take him out of here." She said and I got the message. Get Lukas home before boss Gregory finds out he's a friend. Friend of a friend, whatever...
"You sit here, don't move." I put my hands up to Lukas before rolling into the dressing room but there wasn't time to change so I put my clothes and shoes in my bag and swung it over my shoulder. When I rolled back into the diner Lukas was fortunately still stationed at the bar looking straight ahead of him, staring into nothing.
"Can you walk?" I asked him.
"Barely, you're going to have to help me." He smirked before trying to stand up, his legs a bit shaky.
"Arrghh, you are unbelievable. This isn't funny." I didn't like to drink and I definitely despised dealing with drunk people, I had my fair share of that when I always had to clean up my dad's mess including taking a beating or two. So, the fact I recognized a bit of him in Lukas made me lose all respect for the guy. But all it took was on pout from him to give in. "Fine, lean on me." He put his arm over my shoulder and luckily my skates made me a bit taller, perfectly fitting underneath his arm and just enough to support his weight. I was wearing skates so gently I guided him outside to the parking lot. When we arrived at his car he stepped back letting go of my body before pulling at my arm to steady his wobbly feet. He must have forgotten I was wearing skates because I lost balance and fell backwards on the concrete hitting my head. Great.
"Shit are you okay?" He said hovering over me on his knees.
"What do you think, you idiot!" I said while getting up and grabbing onto the back of my head. That stings like a bitch! Lukas turned me around to look at the back of my head and put his hands on my shoulder. I could feel his body close to mine while his fingers rubbed over my shoulders in the most gentle way.
"Your skull looks intact. Are you okay?" He giggled, letting his fingers trail from my shoulders to the back of my neck. His touch was careful causing tiny goosebumps to form from my neck all the way down my spine.
"Give me your keys!" I said, pulling away from his touch before I could lean back and take us both down to the ground. I turned around just in time for his keys to fall in the palm of my hand. I took off my roller skates and replaced them for my shoes before putting my bag in the trunk. While Lukas helped himself in to the passenger seat a crawled behind the wheel.
Okay, Let's ride this pony. The Mustang, I mean. Not Lukas, I would never. Yikes!
