Monty felt arms on her as Oliver enveloped her. "It will be okay. Cody will be fine." Oliver assured her as they watched Cody drive down the driveway.

She sniffed back her tears and nodded. "I know."

Oliver dragged her inside their family home after Cody's car had left their sight.

He had the house built for her as a wedding present. It was her idea, after all, when Oliver asked her 16 years ago, asking her what sort of house should Cody grow up in.

But it was when Oliver was using Cody as an excuse, again. He really wanted to move forward on her. To move her away from Percy. Time just wasn't on his side back then.

It was a large French country designed mansion in a gated community. That was the best Oliver could do for neighbours. For his peace and mind.

Oliver closed the front door and held Monty. "He'll be fine." He said again.

Monty sobbed in to Oliver's shirt. "But he is going!"

"Only for a few months. He will come back."

Cody had graduated his Tafe course and after a few months, he decided on travelling. "I don't know why you're so upset, you put the idea in his head."

"It was just a suggestion! I didn't tell him to do it." Monty moved off Oliver to walk away but Oliver dragged her back to him. He looked down at her face and brushed her hair away. He placed a hand on each cheek and kissed her.

"We have three more here for you to cry over." Oliver teased her. Monty playfully batted Oliver.

"Mum! The WiFi isn't working again!" A teenage boy yelled out.

"Well, if you didn't have every electronic thing hooked up, it would. Mum I can't get on my Instagram. Some one is hogging the WiFi." Came another voice. "I'm not naming any names, Hayden!"

Monty groaned and shot Oliver a look. "Actually, I can't wait for that day." She smiled as she shook her head.

"Don't forget we have dinner tonight." Oliver flashed Monty a smile.

"Actually, I don't know..." Monty said uncertain about it.

Oliver turned to her. "Come on. We never get any alone time any more." He came closer, whispering to her.

"But Cody was the babysitter when we went out." Monty nagged at him.

"I'm sure Hayden and Mel can look after Delle."

Monty chewed her lip.

Hayden, Monty and Oliver's nearly 15 year old son came out to the foyer. He was holding his video camera in his hand. "See, mum. No signal." He had inherited his mother's hair but his father eyes and looks.

"Mum!" Their thirteen year old yelled out.

Monty walked to the dining room. "Tell Hayden to turn some of his stuff off!"

"I need it all on right now." Hayden snapped at her as he stormed of. "I'm trying to edit and upload!"

"Now Melody, just give him five more minutes." Monty smiled as she went to the kitchen. She heard her daughter moan in disgust. Her light brown hair, the same shade as Monty's pulled behind her ears as her green eyes rolled in her head. Melody sighed again. "Come on!" She called out. Oliver doted on Melody, she was a spitting image of her mother.

"Five minutes, buddy!" Oliver yelled out to Hayden. "So, wine and dine. You and me." Oliver smirked over at Monty.

"Ew." Melody grunted as she put her phone closer to her face.

Monty smiled over to Oliver as she poured herself a drink.

"Mum!" Came another voice. That one belonged their nine year old, Delilah. She was Oliver's little girl, with grey blue eyes and dark brown hair.

"Besides, I told the kids, no dares, no challenges, no versing each other." Oliver stated as he leaned on the kitchen bench.

Cody usually supervised and played along with the kids when they did that kind of stuff, but he had officially handed the torch to his parents upon leaving.

"Mum! WiFi! Hayden!" Melody whined.

Monty sighed.

"You know you're father is here, right?" She called out to them all.

"Dad!" They all yelled out. Monty walked over to Oliver and he saw the playful glint in her eyes.

"Hey, Mel. Now."

Melody obeyed her father with a wide smile. Monty didn't pay any heed to Oliver and Melody, used to their tactics as she playfully slapped him.

"Tag. You're it."

Monty ran out off the kitchen and squealed as Oliver chased her. She went to the breakfast room and straight out the opened doors laughing with Oliver right behind her.

She jumped off the slightly raised back patio and towards the pool house.

If she could get there in time before Oliver caught her, she would be safe, locking the doors behind her.

Monty could feel him catching her as she jumped over a pool recliner, giggling as she tried going faster.

Only a few more steps...

Oliver was faster then her.

He caught her as she screamed in delight. His arms tightly around her. Monty tried escaping from his grip but all efforts failed. He pulled her over his shoulder as Monty let out a squeal.

"Daddy got you!" Delilah laughed from the back patio.

"Put me down!" Monty squawked as Oliver slapped her on the backside.

"Ew dad!" Melody yelled out. Monty raised her head as best as she could and saw Melody not too far off, recording them.

"In the pool!" Hayden laughed out.

"Don't you dare!" Monty growled at him. Oliver fixed his grip up on his wife as she held his shirt. He swung Monty down and carried her, bridal style.

Monty held on to his neck. "Don't!"

Oliver smirked down at her. "Sorry baby, but it's all for their fans!"

What? For the kids stupid videos? "No!" Monty gasped as Oliver threw her in the pool.

It wasn't graceful.

Monty swam to the top and glared at Oliver. The children laughing from their positions.

Oliver turned up to Hayden, on the balcony of his 'work studio'. Hayden is a whiz with computers and graphics.

"Did you get that?" Oliver yelled up to him on the third floor.

"Yeah!"

"I got my angle too." Melody shouted up at him.

"Good. You can stop recording now." Oliver called as he turned to Monty, his eyes dark.

"Oh no!" Monty squealed as she treaded the water, trying to swim away. Oliver ripped his shirt off and dove in to the pool, dragging Monty back under by her feet.

His hands wondered to her waist while they were emerged and he kissed her. They resurfaced, lips still locked together.

Monty and Oliver snuck up the stairs to their room, holding hands and trying not to giggle.

It was after one in the morning and the house was dark and quiet. Everyone in bed and asleep.

They had enjoyed their dinner, a business outing, and were back home.

Oliver closed and locked their double door, rushing to Monty. He held her from behind and kissed her neck as she tilted her head to the side for more.

His fingers found the zippier to her red dress. All night she had been the centre of his attention, she has been for over 16 years. Monty's dress dropped to the floor as she turned to him, her hands around his neck as she kissed him.

They still have their over heated discussions and fights, but instead of ignoring each other afterwards, Oliver usually pushes her to a wall and kisses her, making Monty lost in the passion.

"I love you, Monty." Oliver murmured in her lips. "So much."

Monty smiled as she unbuttoned Oliver's shirt.

"I'm glad to hear that you still do after all these years." Monty teased him.

"And to think I nearly lost you all those years ago."

"You didn't." Monty whispered. "You would never lose me."

Monty felt Oliver grip her tighter as they tumbled on to their bed. Monty giggled as Oliver positioned himself on top of her.

"No. I'll bend heaven and earth to find you."

Monty grinned against Oliver's mouth. They pulled apart, but not too far apart. Monty stared at her husband and raised a hand and brushed his hair with her fingers.

"You looked stunning in that dress tonight."

"Even at 39?" Monty giggled at the compliment.

"Even at 39. But now, breathtaking." Oliver teased his fingers on her skin, skimming them over her naked stomach.

"I'm still not impressed that you set me up today." Monty smiled.

"Who? Me?" Oliver faked his surprise.

It wasn't the first time Oliver had teamed up with the children to prank Monty and have it recorded.

"If I see that video on those YouTube accounts, I will get you back."

"What will you do?" Oliver teased her.

"Oh I've got something in mind." Monty giggled. "I know the four kids have one each, I know they have a joint one too, but you, I found yours, you rat!" Monty played with his hair, lightly tugging it.

Oliver placed his hands on her bare ribs and tickled her, making Monty laugh and snort.

Oliver grinned widely, he couldn't get enough. He watched her face in the lamps glow of the soft light.

Monty saw him staring at her. "What's wrong?" She asked softly, her hand on his cheek.

Oliver shook his head, his smile still on his face. "Nothing. I'm just very lucky."

Monty leaned up and kissed him. "You bet you are."
