《His Hybrid Mate | COMPLETED》Epilogue

"Are you nervous? Excited? Sad?" Isabelle asked as she started on my hair.
"I'm nervous, but I'm excited too," I replied as Zoey changed the song.
"Well, it's your wedding day after all," Allison said, putting makeup out on the table.
I smiled, trying to calm myself down. I remembered when Grayson asked me to marry him. It was the night of graduation, and it was just me and him left in the house.
I remembered that Grayson led me outside, and there was rose petals all over the ground with candles. That's when he went down on one knee, and he asked me to marry him.
Of course I said yes.
Now, I'm twirling my engagement ring, nervously.
Aunt Riley and Uncle Brody flew in, and they were getting last minute stuff ready for today.
I haven't seen Grayson since last night, and I'm so ready to see him today.
"Do you know where you are going for your honeymoon?" Zoey asked me.
"We are going to Greece."
"That's a pretty place," Isabelle said with a wow tone.
"Yeah, it is."
The girls and I talked for hours as they got me ready. I finally got to put on my dress which was beautiful. It was a simple white dress with with off the shoulder straps.
I wasn't going for anything big. The wedding itself isn't big either despite Allison's protests. Our pack will be there, and that's pretty much it.
When it finally got closer to time to walk down the aisle, Zoey reapplied some lip stick.
I asked Zoey, Isabelle, and Allison to be my bridesmaids. They agreed right away, and they all were in sage green dresses to match the theme of the wedding.
"It's almost time!" Isabelle exclaimed, excitedly.

A knock on the door made Allison open the door, revealing my Uncle Brody. He was dressed in a tux, and he smiled when he saw me.
"You look beautiful, kiddo," he said before saying,"Your parents would be so proud of you."
Tears gathered in my eyes, and the girls left the room.
"You think so?" I asked him, making him nod.
"Of course."
"I wish they were here."
Uncle Brody gave me a side hug, and he said,"Me too, but they are watching over you. Come on, let's go get you married."
I sniffled as I nodded,"Yeah."
"It's not to late to back out. I will be your getaway driver," Uncle Brody joked.
"What about Aunt Riley and Stephen?" I asked, making him shrug.
They had their baby a few months ago, and he is the prettiest baby on the planet.
"I'll be back to get them."
I laughed as his arm popped around mine, and I took a deep breath, realizing this is real.
I'm marrying my mate.
"Even though Grayson and I didn't meet on the best terms, I'm glad he is going to be your husband. That boy is head over heels in love with you," Uncle Brody said as we walked out of the room.
I nodded, and I thought back to the first time Uncle Brody and Grayson met. It was a month after everything happened with Carson, and Uncle Brody and Aunt Riley were coming down to surprise me.
Well, neither did Grayson.
And we may have been making out on the couch when they walked in to surprise us.
My uncle was so mad, and Aunt Riley had to calm him down before he attacked Grayson for touching his only niece.

But now here we are.
I heard the music start to play, and I knew it was my time to shine. Everybody was standing, and I see Grayson standing at the end of the aisle.
The guys were beside Grayson while the girls were on my side, holding bouquets of flowers.
We stepped out, and I kept my eyes on Grayson who was grinning ear to ear.
When we got to him, Uncle Brody kissed my hand before giving it to Grayson. Grayson and I both faced the priest, and Grayson wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
The priest said a couple of things, and we repeated after him. Then it was time for our vows.
"When I first met you, I thought you weren't going to accept me because of what I am. But you have done way more than just accept me. You have shown me what it's like to be in love, and you don't care what I am or my past. You love me for me. I'm so excited to start this new journey with you.
I promise I will love you either everything in me, and I promise I will be by your side for better or for worse," I said, nervously.
Grayson smiled before saying,"Brooks, before I met you, I was so impatient to meet my mate. It seemed like everybody had their mate except for me. But when you came into my life, my whole world lit up like a Christmas tree.
I'm so happy to call you wife, and I can't wait for us to be together forever. I promise I will be the best husband to you, and I promise I will never leave your side. We in this for forever. You're it for me, Brooks."
Tears were rolling down my cheeks and Grayson had some rolling on his too.
"Grayson Alexander King, do you take Brooklyn Jones to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
Grayson nodded,"I do."
"Brooklyn Jones, do you take Grayson King to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
I nodded,"Yes. I do."
"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
"Gladly," Grayson commented before crashing his lips on mine.
He leaned me back, and I wrapped my arm around his neck.
The crowd clapped, and we pulled apart, but Grayson kept his arm wrapped around my waist.
We both smiled at the crowd, and I cheered.
"I love you, Mrs. King," Grayson said as we walked down the aisle.
"I love you, Mr. King," I replied as he kissed my cheek.
